A very pleasant surprise. Tasty and rich dishes, excellent crescentine, delicious first courses and a courtesy that makes you feel at home. We will be back very soon!

They make us an outdoor table.
Exquisite first courses, dumpling and excellent tigelle.
Quality cured meats. Jams, sweet and sour onions and a wonderful lard.
They ran out of wild boar, but in order to please us, they can't make a bowl to make us feel it. Great.
Magical place. In the evening it must be really suggestive.

Wonderful place, always very kind staff… Everything is done with the heart and this is evident from every detail, both in the food and in the care of the rooms. I ate the best strawberry tart of my life made by Mrs. Nicoletta. We will definitely be back for a family weekend!

Bed n' breakfast where they treat you like family! Cozy and warm. The best sweets and pasta dishes I've ever had. And amazing hiking trails right outside their door. Incredible place!

Place of magic and enchantment. Beautiful views from the stained glass, historic with stone artifacts and exposed beams. Excellent menu with local specialties served kindly; We recommend the Crescentine cooked in Tigelle with pesto Modenese and salami. There is also a playground and naturalistic walks.

Magic. Wonderful. It is located in a Village where You can decorate all the grove with wonderful nativity scenes. At the end of the course there is a poster where you can eat divinely. Amazing Staff. With a fabulous walk and atmosphere. Visit the place.

We ended up here for lunch after a walk in the village of nativity scenes… friendly and attentive staff… food excellent not to mention wonderful… we will return.

The Place is very romantic, the kindness is at home, you eat yummy dishes (and I'm picky) the price is right. Excellent I would say.

Yesterday my husband and I had lunch at the "Old Inn La Canonica", the only novelty was this because, usually, we had dinner there (in January during the exhibition of the cribs along the streets of the borgo of Montalbano or in the summer to look for some refrigeration city's afa). We can only say a great good about this place: beautiful location in the green and in the quaint village, great genuine and well-groomed food, very nice both the owners and the guys who serve at the tables… a continuous reconfirmation! On the one hand we are sorry that more and more people know this delightful place (we recommend to book) … on the other hand, we are pleased to give credit to those who are committed to making us feel better and to make sure that the structure can exist again and again. Once of these we will also try to stay overnight and we are convinced that it is a beautiful experience to sleep and wake up in such peace… not to mention the breakfast we suppose to be great! In short, if you haven't done so yet, go to the Old Inn La Canonica!

We arbitrarily picked this on airbnb and really enjoyed it. The rooms were kind of basic — don't expect fancy/modern. But the place was so special and remote. When we arrived there was a group of people practicing musical instruments for a show nearby, so we had background music. The host was so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the local food immensely. Hiked up a nearby hill, which was perfect for us with small kids — not too difficult. Overall a gem of a place.

Definitely Angelo and Nicoletta do their job with love. Everything goes in favour of the patrons, like us, that we were greeted very politely and we ate in an excellent manner, in a context that is very familiar and cute. Thank you and see you soon. Definitely!

Great atmosphere And great food. Best place you can chose if you want to try some typical food from the area.

They were two beautiful days, in a place of the past, in a setting of friendliness, competence and good food.
Recommend recommend … great Angel and especially the sweetness and Nicoletta cakes.

Good food … Location surrounded by greenery and quiet …

Five stars to a perfect haven. Food very good. Special attention to desserts and to the legendary borlenghi. Lovely staff.

Been there for dinner and lunch a lot of times. Food is just excellent, you may find local traditional food, prepared by people who have fully understood the traditions and the roots of the region, but also elegant variations from the tradition. Service is very good, not the cold approach of any reastourant, but the warm kindness and good care of people who DO care about getting you as comfortable as possibile.

Prompt and courteous service. We ate very well and was not at all difficult to find meatless dishes.
Gnocchi with mushrooms, tortelloni ricotta white or green to Brown, crescentine (no lard in the dough or in baking), mushrooms, breaded and fried.
Good selection of craft beers.
Desserts: all to try … 

The environments are very beautiful and manicured. The cuisine is excellent. Nicoletta and Angel welcome guests in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The view from the Inn is charming. The Inn is ideal as a base for a weekend at the insgena of the Trek at the nearby park of Roccamalatina. To recommend no ifs or buts.

A place to spend a relaxing, we dedicated to good food. Great grace and courtesy. Even the little goat is friendly and polite. If you stop to sleep ask not to have the room air. She's the only one without private bathrooms.

I spent a night and a day relaxing, after the heat of the city in the "homeland of Vasco". The place is gorgeous and extremely quiet, our room was beautiful, with a window overlooking an absolutely fantastic views over the surrounding hills. The sun rising at dawn reminded us of the outside world, without diverting us from the cool. Monica's hospitality, discreet and friendly, was great. Good food and great desserts at reasonable prices. Recommended-starting — buy one of preserves (jams yum yum! ), so, to remember some more. I would definitely stay here again.
