I found myself well in this B&B.
Excellent breakfast and nice reception, availability of car parking. It is also in the historic center and the city can be visited on foot or by bicycle which is provided by the owners themselves. Spoilt for choice of restaurants and bars in the area.

Impeccable hospitality, rich and healthy breakfast and then is in the old town, 2 steps from all.

Located in the historic center, a few steps from the Castello Estense, this B&B, is ideal for anyone who wants a cultural holiday.
Good reception, courtesy and helpfulness, are characteristics of the owners.
The rooms are tidy and clean.

Replay to Mr. JHS Dear Sir, … we are all very sorry, astonished and surprised to read the second part of your review, cause we do all the checks and efforts to give to our guests the best welcome, and even suggestions to how spend your day before arriving in Ferrara, like you have written correctly in the first part of the review… And once more, cause you didn't tell us anything about this "inconvenients" immediately, during your stay, that is a bad and insane attitude cause you do not give us the opportunity to solve the inconvenients or eventually to simply show you that may be everything is ok and you are simply not able to use it properly… It must be told that you have been at the Locanda in the hottest days of the year, in which Ferrara was the warmest town in Italy… with a temperature between 50-60°C… it is easy to understand that the air condition could have less effects (normally it makes max 20 degrees less then outside) if outside it is so exceptionally hot, and if the engine is used at the maximum power, all the day and night, without breaks. It is intelligent to understand that you had the same problems anywhere else this days in Ferrara, where it was simply "hard to leave". The yogurt was made by one of the best company in Italy, fresh and naturally made.

Very nice people. Great location. But, air conditioning on a hot day was poor. Showerhead fell on my head. No way to relocate it mid shower. The parents were extremely nice and refined. Helped lead our car to nearby parking, gave us an excellent map and orientation to the city. Clearly very refined people. But when I posted a partly critical review because of the air conditioning on another site I was pursued with abusive emails by the son who arranges the reservations. Otherwise lovely place and people if it is not hot.

Fantastic. The oldest bed and breakfast in Italy … a place full of art at 2 steps of the Este Castle.

Who something Special and still Cheap looking for is at this address in the best of hands. The Central location could not be in Ferrara, the car is very well taken care of and the rent couple Orlandini, it is worth to be visited. One feels in the ancient building immediately like at home, is of a turtle in the covered garden welcomes and you get Free use of bicycles to explore the city. The rooms are liebevollst and individually decorated and furnished, there is air conditioning and a nice Breakfast, among others, with home baked cakes. Even after only one night, leaving the house as if you here any longer would have been, in any case, enticed it to come back. Both in the house Locanda Burgonuovo as well as in the wonderful city of Ferrara. Each guest will be at the farewell of the landlord, nor with the noble copy of an old print gift — in memory of an unusually nice encounter.
