Il Girasole Bed and Breakfast

Peaceful and quiet place. Hospitality and cleanliness are excellent. Friendly locals and the owner, lady Pink, very very pretty and nice. Will be back for sure.

I am a teacher and approximately 20 days ago I booked through an agency the bed and breakfast il Girasole for attending a Conference, November 6-7-8 Yesterday, Saturday, I phoned the owner apologizing because the room couldn't give it to me because he had suffered a breakdown in the bathroom, hardly repairable for that date.
He proposed another solution which is to make me stay overnight at Imola to another bed and breakfast owned by him and to come get me and take me to his expenses. I reluctantly I agreed, because I knew that hardly would find other solozione, just a few days from the date of a national conference in a small town like Castel san pietro. While remaining agree that if I find a solution I would have called. BUT THE SOLUTION WAS TO FIND HIM! Meanwhile, call the agency that is activated to solve the issue … Moral of the story the SUNFLOWER OWNER when he was invited by the Agency to find together a solution, he EVEN REFUSED to let me inconvenience of the surrounding to IMOLA because to him with the price agreed not agreed! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT ABSOLUTELY. Professionalism ZERO … in these House is the OWNER at the expense of ITS FINDS a SOLUTION and does not give up because YOU DON'T WANT to … I had read some bad reviews but I trusted … Now I felt I should write it myself.

Upon our arrival we were offered different rooms than the pictures on the Websites showed. These rooms were very small, so were the beds. There was no availability using the kitchen although promised on the websites. Everything was dirty, the refrigerator was extremely dirty, old food everywhere, the kitchen not cleaned up. The owner said that the photos of the offered rooms are on the website; this was not true. The websites show the nice rooms of upstairs; but we were offered the downstairs rooms. For all these reasons we wanted to cancel the reservation, but we had to pay the reservation fee of Euro 110. — plus Euro 55. — for the second room. He wanted to charge us the full price for the three nights of the second room; only our phoning the police made him agree with 55. — Euro. The whole experience was very unpleasant and miserable. We could not stay another minute. We paid the money and left without staying at that place at all. We do not recommend to go to "Il Girasole" in Castel San Pietro Terme.

My family and I were guests at this long. I would like to say that the b & b is a precious gem where hospitality, comfortable and cleanliness meet perfectly. Not to mention the hospitality and friendliness of the owners who were flawless. Maybe it's easy to find all this in the short term but I assure you that for long stays is really rare. So thanks to Mr. Michael and consort. Keep it up.

Bed and breakfast excellent, comfort and clean and it tells one to which they will. I have my wife who has a bed and breakfast in Puglia. Hospitality of the owner.

Cozy quiet eating very well organized and clean.

The structure is like you see in the picture, indeed even better, warm, clean, there are all comforts, the Council is to children and families who are here on vacation, and those who unfortunately have to go for other needs, because the managers are special people are against the requirements of the customer. I recommend it very much at all.
