Spent the week of December 8th with my partner, already entering the lobby you understand that you are in a charming hotel, very clean room, stylish furniture and everything looks new, very beautiful, nothing is missing, very large bed with very comfortable high mattress with three pillows apiece, 40 inch wall LCD TV, bathroom with large shower stall and blue soft lights.
Window on the streets of the center in full Christmas atmosphere a stone's throw from everything you need.
Kindness and hospitality dominate, rich and fulfilling breakfast… I could go on but I would say it deserves well beyond the three star category. Great!

We were in Bologna for a we and stayed at the Three Old, very nice and stylish hotel a short walk from Piazza Maggiore. The staff is friendly and very helpful, great breakfast. I recommend it!

If I have to find faults, read a little too soft, flush with leak, toilet tablet of the wrong size. But discreet room (although as double the closet is a bit small), large TV, full bathroom although small and "habitable" shower, excellent air conditioning completely controllable and silent, continental and Italian breakfast of good quality and Wide choice, elevator, exceptional location at the limits of the center but with parking next door.

Good rooms. It is near the city centre, so it is in anticipo owesome position.

Special place. Nice rooms and perfect attendant at the desk. Lovely experience.

The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk from the main square. For the area and to be a 4 star the price is not very high. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast with a lot of choice including I was particularly surprised by the honey taken directly from the hive on the bench and the vegan croissants. Great.

A homely and well run hotel with a great location for some of the best food in Bologna, and close to the touristic centre. The breakfast service was exceptionally good. I especially appreciated the excellent barista cappuccinos on demand!

The hotel is good and clean, the treatment is correct. But I was surprised Q leaving the hotel at 9 d the morning and returning to rest at 3, the room still uncleaned, and tell me from Reception Q cleaning Service ends at 4, Pesimo service D Cleaning Then, … Q Hire more staff, … But I think Q from 9 to 15 hours there is time D leftover to clean, I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a little bit old, but we had a great time. Good breakfast. Cleaning. Quiet room. Convenient area halfway between the station and the center.

Beautiful Hotel. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. Great breakfast. City center. There are many shops, bars and restaurants around. As well as all the museums and attractions of the city in walking distance.

Honestly from a four star I was expecting something more! (The room was small to the point that the bed was attached to the wall with the discomfort of those who slept on that side) … good breakfast, nice staff.

I stayed 2 nights in February 2018 in this hotel with friends. Location the location of the hotel is great, located in Independence Street and surrounded by shops. Piazza Maggiore is only a 10-minute walk away. Rooms clean Despite the presence of carpet, tacky furnishings but all in all acceptable. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. I especially liked the delivery of a key per person. Bathroom bathroom in clean room, and great the right. Towels changed in the morning, set of bubble bath, slippers, etc. Found on our arrival. Spacious glass shower. There is also a mini wall dryer. Staff friendly and very helpful, we were allowed to deposit our suitcases after checkout for the whole day at no extra charge. Breakfast acceptable, nothing so spectacular.

Wonderful hotel near the center of Bologna and good value for money.

We ended up staying here because our previous reservation (Il Canale) was flooded and they moved us here. Its an ok hotel, comfortable for the most part. Perhaps the best feature is the location, if you're sight seeing in Bologna. Our room was a little dark and shabby. Breakfast was alright but the hostess wasn't altogether pleasant. The front desk staff, however were very kind and helpful. They had lots of suggestions for places to go for what we needed and where to sight see. I'd go back, sure.

Passed a couple of days for the 2018 new year, and I had overall a pleasant experience with this hotel. Its situated literally in the city center at an only 5min walk from Piazza Maggiore. Only down side I had was that the bathroom wasn't renovated and wasn't the same with the bathroom from the photos (when I booked online)

A good hotel near the station and the center of Bologna, however pre me is certainly not a 4 star hotel, but for sure a good 3 stars. The price of the rooms in the absence of offers is a little high. Breakfast is very plentiful with fresh and good pastries.

Very good hotel, central location, comfortable and warm rooms. The staff are helpful and attentive. The breakfast was spectacular. Some smudging in the bad reception of TV/radio channels and some burning in the carpet. In any case highly recommended.

We didn't like it very much. Small rooms, bone services, breakfast room overcrowded and very small, you have to make a decent line to sit, common rooms almost non-existent. Public parking at a fee, very close, but not even a convention is unacceptable, by the way the reservation was indicated that there was the Convention. In short, a set of factors from media. There are no elements in which the hotel is excellent, apart from the location. The staff is very courteous and helpful but not enough. A 4 star hotel in the centre of Bologna has to offer something more.

Great hotel with good value for money. Good location on Viale Indipendenza between the station and the historic center of Bologna. Some rooms are not renovated and have small bathrooms.

Quite disappointed by the stay: The room, albeit well furnished, had a pervasive smell of stagnant water coming from the bathroom. The shower only worked well with cold water, while selecting the hot water came a trickle of water. Breakfast room very cramped and with buffet offer not up to a 4 star. The staff were not particularly friendly, they did not ask us anything about how we had been, although we had not protested or made any special remarks on the above topics. The location is very convenient to the center, but arriving on Saturday with market in Piazza 8 August, parking was very difficult. There should be more information on the solutions to park and get to the hotel.

Nice hotel near the old town in Bologna. Nice staff and clean rooms. Remember to book non smoking room, if you will be sure not to get a room were guests have been smoking.

It is part of a group of hotels in Bologna. Located in via indipendenza in Super central area, is part of the story. Adjusted prices for tourist use, friendly staff and peaceful surroundings. Nice clean, rooms not massive. Ideal for visiting the city.

Great in the Center, so very convenient, everything in order, very good service, courtesy and kindness, a is a sparse affair. Breakfast.

Ok — but dont accept rooms out to the front, the bar and music goes on until 2 o'clock — you cant sleep.

It puzzles me that this place is so highly rated. I stayed in the hotel for six nights so I think I have a large enough sample size to assess the quality. Do you prefer to stay in a place with friendly and polite staff? This is not your hotel. After struggling to find a taxi for 25 mins and only upon my fifth request did the front desk call a taxi. It came within minutes. I'm not sure why they couldn't do that to begin with. Do you like to have Wi-Fi when you stay in a hotel? This is not your hotel. They say they have Wi-Fi, but what they actually mean is that they offer 1 hr per day of Wi-Fi. But it doesn't really matter, because it did not reach my room. Do you like to have a clean room? This is not your hotel. There was a constant smell of sewage in the restroom that permeated throughout the room. I had to keep the window in the bathroom open at all times. Unfortunately the cleaning staff kept closing it. I hope you like cockroaches because that's what I found on the carpet. The only thing worthwhile about the hotel is its location for tourists.

Mixed emotions! The good. Good sized room and service to the room was good, breakfast was plentyful, good location for shopping. The bad. The service wasn't great, with staff not being able to communicate well (in English). The Wi-Fi connection was absolute crap, I couldn't load my home page on any of my devices during my whole stay. Very hard to locate as cannot access via car on the main street, have to use a back street. Also the detergent they use to wash their sheets and towels, gave me a horrible rash on my face and legs, I looked like I had slapcheek. (But this is something that could not be helped by the hotel) just a warning for those with sensitive skin.

The breakfast buffet isn't bad for an Italian hotel.
