The most friendly and welcoming B&B we have ever experienced. Luigi and Ugo are wonderful hosts and everything was perfect and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially Ugo’s lemon cake!

We loved our time at casa mazzola. Luigi, ugo and Danny were great people and extremely kind. The rooms were clean and big, the views were great and we loved the service we received! We would definitely return. We cannot speak more highly for these people or this place.

After nearly a week in Italy, we roll up to Casa Mazzola not knowing what to expect. We were later than we had communicated but that was OK with Ugo. He greeted us with a beautiful smile and amazing hospitality. After some adult beverages, to help us acclimate, he told us everything we needed to know about where to get locally sourced fresh seafood, how to access transportation (a shuttle to town is just a short walk from the Mazzola BnB) and other details that make our trip delightful. They even provide rides down to the town if needed. We are sitting on the deck right now enjoying a Friday night with not a care in the world enjoying a spectacular view of the sea. Dad is Luigi. Sister is Daniella. They are a family and they make you feel like you are among their loved ones The accommodations are perfect for our needs — clean, not at all rustic and accessible. The breakfast features great coffee, seasonal fruit and sweet breads. I am a vegetarian and I did not starve although there are meats available. Do not miss the lemon cake — Ugo makes it himself! This family-run business is a find! No detail is left unattended.

A wonderful gem in an idyllic location. Spotlessly clean, with a delicious and varied breakfast. We spent a week there with our five children. The highlight though, has to be the hospitality shown by Luigi, Daniela and Ugo. It was above and beyond anything we have ever experienced before. They were attentive without being intrusive, and always on hand to offer advice or guidance. Luigi even drove us to the local restaurant and collected the seven of us in the evenings, after the last bus. I highly recommend Casa Mazzola and would give it 10 stars if I could. We sincerely thank Luigi, Daniela and Ugo for making our family so welcome and our holiday so memorable and hope to return some day soon.

Superb location, super friendly hosts and beautiful setting.

A wonderful stay at Casa Mazzola made all the better by Luigi and Ugo. Fantastic hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. The location is remote, perfect for a total retreat. The views are absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and filled with Luigi's special artistic touches. A little piece of paradise xx.

One of our best holidays ever. Casa Mazzola was just such a great place to stay. Fabulous rooms, comfortable beds and great views acoss The Bay of Naples and towards Vesuvius. Ugo and Luigi are brilliant hosts. X.

Highly recommend! We spent amazing 8 days. Luigi and Hugo are the most amazing hosts. Every morning Luigi sat with us to plan our day, with maps which were made by him, lots of tips of where to park, where to start etc. The breakfast was yummy and fresh. We will miss them!

It's true what everyone says about this place. It is truly magical and yes the views are stunning and the rooms spotlessly clean and spacious. But it is really Luigi and Ugo who together create the magic of Casa Mazzola. They are such generous, genuine, people — loving hosts who just love sharing the beauty of their little part of Italy. Luigi's hand-drawn maps, together with both their knowledge of where to visit and where to park, made our stay truly wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and by our final morning, my decaffeinato cappuccino appeared almost without asking.
We ran out of time to see many things recommended, but if you get an opportunity stay at this wonderfully quirky B and B.

Fantastic holiday, Luigi and Ugo are terrific hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always on hand with great advice on everything about our time here — right down to the best parking places. We highly recommend this house. Its location is perfect — high on the hills away from the traffic and noise of Sorrento but an easy drive/bus journey to the town, Positano, Amalfi coast, etc. Brilliant holiday!

I have never experienced a B&B like this ever before. When we first looked at Casa Mazzola on hostel world we chose it because of the reviews and it exceeded all our expectations. Luigi and Ugo were always prompt when replying to emails before our trip. We arrived by train and Ugo was there to pick us up. When we arrived at the property we were blown away. The views from our rooms balcony were breath taking. You could see Sorrento beach and the amazing landscape. Our room was perfect. It was a spacious size, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great and the outside balcony just topped it off. On arrival we had washing that needed doing and Ugo organised our huge load of clothes to be washed and dried within hours for a small charge of €10. We were given excellent recommendations on what activities to do and food to eat.
To get to and from the B&B there is a bus that collects you and when the buses stop running Ugo or Luigi will pick you up. They are literally amazing.
Every morning we were greeted with friendly smiles and to kick start each morning we had a delicious breakfast prepared for us for our big days of sight seeing and you couldn’t leave without having a cappuccino from Ugo.
Ugo and Luigi had told us not to book any tours until we arrived at the B&B so on our first day they organised us a boat tour of Capri and it was possibly one of the best days of our lives. For €100 each we definitely recommend this!

Never before have I experienced a more pleasant and enjoyable stay! We stayed at Casa Mazzola for a week and it could not have been any better! I already wish I were back there. Luigi and Ugo take wonderful care of the place and in every little detail you can see the love and work they put into running their B&B. They aim to show you "Real Italian hospitality" and this is exactly what you get. From the moment you arrive they treat you as though you were part of the family. The service they offer is truly exceptional and could not be surpassed by any 5 star hotel. The breakfast they offer is also excellent with locally grown food and delicious cakes baked by Luigi himself. Even though dinner is not included, they have tips on where to go and even offer a car service to a great restaurant with local cuisine that is a bit further up the hill.
The rooms are also beautiful and offer a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples.
Luigi and Ugo are always helpful and offer great advice on where to go and what to see — not only the popular tourist sites but also some hidden gems. If you do go visit the tourist sites, they give you great tips and even provide you with maps of the area. They genuinely care for every single one of their guests and we will definitely be back — hopefully very soon! Thank you so much for a special holiday!

It's our first day and we already love the place. Our hosts, Ugo and Luigi are fantastic so are the rooms and the views and the entire place. Incredibly beautiful, quiet yet close to everything.

Beautiful, wonderful panoramic terrace, friendly owners, friendly and very hospitable and prodigal of useful advice and directions, strategic place to visit the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Amalfi, Capri, and of course Sorrento.

Excellent position as a base for both the Vesas: Sorrentino and Amalfitano. Beautiful holiday, warm welcome and family atmosphere. The managers Luigi and Ugo are lavish of excellent tips for unforgettable destinations, always ready and willing to help you on any occasion. We highly recommend it.

Ugo and Luigi were wonderful hosts with very useful information on sights, where to eat and local transportation. We were a bit worried about the location without a car, but the shuttle service proved easy and convenient to use (transportation could prove challenging if you're looking for a later night out in town, but this wasn't an issue for us! ) The room was big and clean, and the terrace view was beautiful!

Luigi runs the best b&b in Sorrento! Great breakfast, magnificent views, lovely accommodations. Make sure to have some bruschetta.

Great stay at Casa Mazola. The view is amazing! the room was super big and comfortable. Great location too, but the best was the staff. Ugo and Luigi were super resourceful and friendly. I would recommend this B&B to all my friends and family.

Absolutely fantastic place. I can't recommend it enough. Ugo and luigi are so helpful and welcoming from picking us up to helping us find our way around and taking us to local restaurants. Cleanliness and hospitality from 5 stars, special and unique rooms, all decorated in an artistic way. A breathtaking panorama for Sorrento and Naples.

Amazing place to stay at! 10min by car from Sorrento up in the hills. Beautiful country side! The house was beautiful as well and not talking about the view from our terrasse, looking at the Sorrento bay and Vesuv, surrounded by mountains on both sides! This is an absolute must see. And even possible to see from the comfortable double bed. The breakfast was very nice as well with homemade cakes. Ugo and Luigi are amazing hosts! They really gave a special taste to our trip. If you need any particular advice on where to go, what to see and what to eat, just ask Luigi. Sad we could not stay any longer. Thank you both for this unforgettable stay.

My family and I stayed at Casa Mazzola for 3 days. Luijee (not sure of the spelling, pardon me) and Ugo were excellent hosts. The view from the B&B was fantastic. Their service was impeccable. The breakfast was super. Very Italian with all you can eat everything. Although atop a hill, Luijee and Ugo provided free rides to/from restaurants and train station. I told them that everyone should take a page out of their playbook and follow through what Luijee and Ugo do in their hospitality business. Rooms were clean and spacious and reasonably priced. I sure would return to Casa Mazzola if I go to Italy and the neighboring area. No, nobody paid me to write this review. It comes straight from the heart and first hand experience at this B&B. You will not be disappointed.

This B&B is everything that is right about Italy. Amazing view of the bay, great lounge space, and most importantly gracious and hospitable hosts. If you are looking for a great place to stay near downtown Sorrento and want some real Italian hospitality and interactions than this place is for you.

I am super excited to be the first to Google review this place! It is hands down the best place to go if you want true Italian style hospitality! Luigi and his son were such gracious hosts offering information galore. We had such a good time there that when I go back to Italy I will for sure be visiting them again. Great views and amazing breakfast. If you are on the fence about a place to stay, then look no further.
