Absolutly the worst experience in a hotel. I did write a review right away on TripAdvisor which got a lot of likes but was deleted by the business I guess! Don't step in this neighborhood, cabbies are tricky also and you will end up paying whatever they ask for only to get out of their cab! The hotel staff is rude, they are bothered by guests, there's no food and not even a coffee in the morning! Make sure you have some change for a coffee at the airport, they don't accept credit cards and don't have change for €20! Actually, avoid Naples altogether, it's a short distance from Rome and there's high speed trains, around two hours or so!

It was a very nice hotel and very clean. Good breakfast too. We had no issues with the hotel, only the area it was in. Me and my mum got cat-called a lot around here and didn't realise why until we saw prostitute's down the road. Made us feel very unsafe with us being 2 girls, we never stayed out late. Although there did seem to be quite a few police cars around. Just bear this in mind when booking.

And a good hotel, the flaw and that is not served by public transport and if you do not have the car you have to walk a nice walking. The rest and everything or L.

Very nice staff, we have received city maps and detailed information about the city when checking in. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good. Clear recommendation!

Great place for being close to airport. Very pleasant hotel, not in a tourist spot which is a shame but can recommend for short stays as very accessible for flights to/from Naples airport.

Large and clean room. Staff. Far from the center, little or nothing in the surroundings, the train that sometimes makes you feel…

Small Hotel However very clean well organized staff very qualified and helpful.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and close to Capodichino airport. Has a good, assorted breakfast bar and secure parking at additional cost. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. There's a great trattoria/pizzeria about 100 meters down the street. However, the neighborhood is very rundown and scary looking. If you drive here, you might seriously wonder where you'll end up. We stayed 2 nights and actually felt safe. Will return if the need arises :)

Staff friendly and helpful, you eat well and normal prices.

Very nice hotel staff very nice breakfast. But one can far from the center. The nearest train station is in 800 metres.

Nice warm rooms, breakfast plentiful and varied. A tip nn forget anything in the room because NN is returned, I say from experience.

Very good, I was there and I really enjoyed it there. Fast Wi-Fi, well food and good personal. It isn't the best, but very good.

Great value for money It's just outside, but 10 minutes walk from the subway. In two stops of plants in the central station, from where you take the ones that go to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

It's really impeccable and perfect rooms, service, location everything is gorgeous.

Out the center of Naples, but close to the airport. A great hotel with a nice interior and proper fonctioning facilities. One of the helpdesk staff was not able to speak English, nor was she able to smile.

Gran in the hotel located in an area to say the least bad.

I was a guest in the recepscion for a few hours of waiting. They were all friendly with me, so it's a good business card…

The hotel itself is okay. Just a really sketchy area of Naples.

Very dirty sorroundings in the streets, poor part of Napoli. 5 km. To town. No pool and no restaurant. The staff talks very very poor English. They know few words. The hotel is very nice and neat.

Nice 3 ☆☆☆hotel, very clean, staff very helpful shame about the area, it's situated in an industrial area. The the locals are very friendly, a few restaurant's nearby pretty reasonable!

Joyful Hotel seems far away from everything e. G malls, churches and restaurants. But I won't complain because this is what we want, after jam packed days. We needed a peaceful and quiet area to stay in. And this beautiful hotel catered just that.

A really nice hotel but it is intended for business people. There is nothing to do at the hotel apart from sleep and eat breakfast which suited me as I was out sight seeing. Called in the local pizza place for dinner and brought a bottle of Peroni back to the room as the 33cl bottle of peroni in the fridge is 2.5 euro and the 66cl bottle in the pizza place is 2 euro. Staff are helpful and polite. Not tried the jacuzi as its 180 euro as part of a suit. Great if on honeymoon.

Really good hotel to recommend. I was there for work but very clean. Too bad the view from the window.

Excellent hotel. Highly recommended. Clean rooms and bathroom. Very polite and helpful staff. Good varied breakfast buffet. Key card access to rooms and clean towels and bedding. It's in a slightly run down and difficult to find area but a terrific hotel for a night's rest.

Good Wi-Fi pulls online TV from the Tablet (it is necessary to take the free code) breakfast decent. For my money is suitable for car tourists, guests and myself so in cent get away.

++ We booked a double room well before hand and got it for less than £30 a night. The hotel is new, very clean with spacious bathroom. It has got electronic windows, AC, Wi-Fi in common areas and LAN in the rooms.

We booked online for very cheap. We drove towards it via GPS and got very scared seeing how crappy the area was, as we got closer we expected a dump or a scam. But no, out of the trash was this amazing clean modern building with everything a modern hotel should have. Newly built, very clean rooms, good bathrooms. It was the highlight of our stay in Napoli (which is, the dirtiest city I've been in).

Really a nice hotel well located, new and spotless.
In the evening we had dinner at the restaurant where the staff was truly delicious and yummy food.
Hope to return soon.

We were on a cycling trip and had chosen the Joyfull as our last Hotel before flying back to Switzerland. We arrived in the evening with our bicycles and were told that our reservation had been cancelled which we of course didn't know since we had been cycling. Instead the staff told us that we got a reservation at another hotel at the Piazza Garibaldi which in fact we couldn't find. We ended up at the nice Plaza Hotel (Best Western) which we can highly recommend. This was certainly the last time we tried to reserve a room at the Joyfull.
