Great experience. Everyone was super nice and helpful. My only problem is that we had to leave.

On the positive side our room was clean spacious and breakfast was good, however be aware this hotel is right on the main road so there is a lot of car traffic at all times of day and we were able to hear it quite clearly from our room. Not only that but there's also a restaurant across the street playing loud music until midnight every night so it was difficult to sleep as the windows had no sound proofing at all!

So far it's our third day here and it has been wonderful! The room is clean, the balcony and view is amazing and the front desk has been so helpful with their recommendations and help making reservations! I would highly recommend this hotel! It's so close to many great restaurants as well and again the front desk helps organize transportation! When we arrived at the airport our taxi had not shown up, we got ahold of the hotel and they were able to arrange alternative transportation in no time! Wonderful service!

Friendly kind available located in a strategic area.

Beautiful villa that has very polite personnel. It is very near to the main pedestrian street and village center.

My partner and I recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was easily the highlight of our trip. Ideally situated near great bars and restaurants and within walking distance to the bus line that connects the towns. Our room had amazing views and every day we basked in the afternoon sun on our balcony, watching it set over the mountains. The staff were super friendly and attentive to our every need. If we ever go back to Positano, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The staff is friendly. Despite us arriving way ahead of our check in time they held our bags, and let us use some towels for the beach. The room is fairly large (we had a standard seaview room), we had a couple lounge chairs in ours to sit on, but the view from the balcony is what is worth the money. The balcony has two beach beds you can lie on, a table and a day bed. Breakfast is served on it every morning. Was amazing!

What can I say, this is a top 5 hotel in my book. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, complimentary breakfast each morning and right in the middle of the greatest city on the Amalfi Coast! SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR THE BALCONY WITH THE VIEW. You will not be disappointed, the view is stunning and they have their balconies decorated in the most elegant way with grape vines and exotic plants. Each night my wife and I bought a bottle of wine and went to the balcony to enjoy it before dinner. People line up and pay exorbitant prices at Franco's for the same view.

John was the best waiter. He was knowledgeable and very helpful in helping select the best dishes. The complimentary prosecco was a thoughtful introduction. The octopus salad was perfect and the stuffed squid equally delicious. Top this all off with a great balcony view of the bay and you've got the makings of a 5 star evening.

Amazing service, incredible views.

This place is beyond amazing! We stayed in room 38 (photos included in comments section) and couldn’t be happier with our view! My leg muscles weren’t enjoying all the steps but it was so worth it! We went all over Italy on this trip and my 10-year-old said his favorite part of the whole trip was the breakfast served on the balcony in Positano! I didn’t want to leave. The beds could be softer… and if rooms are ready ahead of time, they should let ppl check in early but they have a strict 2pm check in time. They have a nice waiting area though. I would love to come back here again soon!

Good location.

We loved our stay at Villa Rosa. Unfortunately we booked very last minute so couldn't get any of the rooms with open sea or village view but even our partial sea view room was absolutely lovely. Like the town it's beautiful inside and even that minimalistic with a some nice little details, all mainly in white it gave us a warm and welcoming feel instantly. Everything was very clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the room overall was very bright and cozy. The terrace was amazing with view over the sea halfway blocked by a hotel opposite of the street, but as the name suggested that before we weren't surprised and it actually looks exactly as advertised on their website. They don't have a breakfast room so you order your breakfast until the early morning and it is served to you on the terrace, if the weather allows it, which it thankfully did. The options included in the room rate are very limited (e. G. Eggs are extra) but the coffee and juice is great and so it was sufficient for us. The location is the hotel is fairly nice for Positano, just a 2-3 minutes up road to catch a local bus along the Amalfitana or about 10 minutes down to reach the beach. Many restaurants are available everywhere, my side recommendation here would be Da Vincenzo just a 10-15 minutes stroll away from Villa Rosa but there are many closer. The staff was super friendly and kind and helped wherever they could. A lot of smiles going around here everyday. Definitely recommended.

Friendly staff, breakfast is provided on your balcony with a spectacular view each morning. Make sure you book a room on at least the third level for the best views.

This was my second stay at Villa Rosa. My first stay was 2016 in May / June. The rooms overlook the cliff / ocean; the view simply cannot be beat. It is spectacular. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. They serve breakfast of croissants, fresh coffee and muffins in the morning with a selection of jams. This is wonderful in the large balcony with a view. My partner and I enjoyed our first stay very much. We stayed there most recently in August 2017. It was a busy time of year and we noted that the hotel had back to back bookings on all rooms. The rooms were as expected. This year the breakfast was not as good as the year before but still quite nice. I would recommend for first time visits in Positano.

Very close to restaurants and the beach. The view was amazing. The staff was the best, they were so helpful in recommending places to eat and coordinating cabs. Can't wait to come back.

Breathtaking view in the heart of Positano.

This place is amazing! The service was excellent, location was excellent, and our room with the ocean view balcony was breathtaking! I would highly recommend this cute boutique B&B!
