The staff and the owner were very friendly. The room that happened to us was very nice and spacious (very nice especially thanks to the magnificent view on the pebbles from the window).

Quite good hotel, nice personnel, but not recently refurbished: old furniture, definitely not deserving the "superior" adjective. No bidet. Rooms are quiet, clean, and with a WONDERFUL view of sassi, in the heart of old Matera (very good position). No parking space.

Good location, for everything else is too expensive for the property quality in its entirety. Old bathrooms, retro rooms with old furnishings, unsounded fixtures. The breakfast room is cozy. In the behavior of the owner, who did not even respond to the greeting, there is all the lack of empathy that she has towards the guests. Watch out for the price that rises by virtue of a resort fee, and water (present in the room, without price list).

Located in the pedestrian area of Matera, the hotel has enchanting views over the sassi, quiet and elegant. In the morning you can enjoy an excellent breakfast, with both sweet and savoury items, cleaning the top, courtesy of the staff.

Great location to visit Matera without having to use the car. We stayed (two adults and two toddlers) in a large room and equipped with all the comforts, staff always with the smile and helpful. The proprietor a lady of a sweetness and courtesy of other times always present but discreet, who knows how to make you feel like family. Breakfast simple not very abundant but with typical products of good quality. The style of the property is dated but very well maintained. We will definitely go back to the next opportunity.

Location in the very unique old town near the cathedral and the Gravinas. It was a very nice hotel. Not acceptable cappuccino and coffee at the Distributor…

Hotel in central Matera… our room had view on the Rocks show… air conditioning in the room and minibar… a place a bit ' old-fashioned but pleasant.

Stately structure with attentive and competent staff. Clean rooms and services cared for in every detail. Place in the centre of Matera historical allows the tourist to fully experience the city from both cultural and gastronomic point of view. I went back for the second time and will be back again.

Hotel OK but very expensive for what it offers! the breakfast was good and very nice but the rooms have no charm.

This hotel cannot be considered as a 3 stars: quality is low and cost is high. When you go to a 3 start hotel you expect: to get what you pay for: 1 — you are asked to pay extra to get a view on Matera but, — you don't get any view — you have to pay for it — and the owner is telling you that you should not mater as you will not stay all night looking through the window; this is just unbelievable. 2 — Rooms are small and it is really a city where you walked a lot, thus you are satisfied to get back to your room for some rest and then get back out ; in this hotel you prefer to stay out. 3 — Breakfast is poor: from the orange juice directly poured from cans that are not hidden in December where there are kilos of oranges sold around. There is no bread proposed, just local croissant and fruit tarts that have really no taste. No smile, no effort, this hotel sounds like a cash machine. If you have choice, go somewhere else. And meanwhile the owner needs to learn that tourists are not just there to pay they like to be considered as guest with respect and trust. Tourists are normal people they want to get what they pay for.
