Rude staff/owner that tries to overcharge you with less than average rooms with stinking odor. Many better (normal) options around the city. Avoidable!
Host was rude and aggressive. When we arrived the manager told us it would be 14€ more than expected, for cleaning (5€ each) and city tax (2€ each). We did not complain about this or say anything, but he still felt the need to show us what everyone else had paid, saying "it is a small price". We tried to look up how to tell him that we had paid an 8€ deposit already online and he suddenly got very angry, telling us to go elsewhere and making a big show of rubbing out our names from the list. We panicked and said we would pay whatever he wanted as we had nowhere else to stay. He shook his head angrily, talking aggressively and kept saying "es tranquilo" even though we were visibly upset. He ushered us out of his hotel leaving us confused as to why he had suddenly gotten so angry and upset we had nowhere to stay. We had just been trying to clarify what we had already paid, and had not been pushy. Luckily we found a lovely room at dimora san vincenzo where the staff are lovely, and in the end were glad he had not let us stay at residence kale because we wouldn't like to spend our holiday around such a man. We had read similar reviews but thought if we minimise our interaction with him it would be ok. I urge you not to stay here.

Great welcome and courtesy. The location in the centre of Gallipoli is excellent. Some problem for parking you have to leave the car at the port and to pay you can only use coins.
