Amazing vibes, great people, best location in TLV.

The staff here is superb! They really make you feel at home. Florentine is definitely a party hostel but doesn't get too loud or rowdy like other party hostels. The hostel is kept very clean and orderly by the number of volunteers. The rooms don't have keys but there is a code to get into the hostel so I felt very secure. They have a basic free breakfast (who doesn't love free? ) and a nice dinner for your choice of tip. This was super handy, especially on the Sabbath. This was definitely the best hostel my friend and I stayed in in our 6-week trip. We made sure to come back after our stay in Jerusalem. Thank you Florentine!

Not really a place to relax. More like a party place so maybe not the best hostel to reserve your first night after a long long flight… people are really friendly and helpfull tho!

Absolute worst hostel experience I have ever had. Extremely unprofessional staff that are 0 help. They overbooked our room and we were left without one bed and then we were blamed for taking wrong room even though we went in the room we were told. We were not properly compensated for this issue. Being without a room at 3am is completely unacceptable. On top of this sheets and towels were old and musty and the air conditioner is not left on so the entire hostel is damp and sweaty. A really disgusting place do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere please!

Best hostel I've ever been to. Free breakfast, free dinner. Most friendly hosts you could ever imagine, it is the perfect place to be if you are young and you want to have fun. There's a happy hour with cheap beer at 8, and everyday they host a free pubcrawl with the rest of the hostel. The terrace common area is really big, and a great place to meet your fellow travelers. Also at night a good place to have some fun with drinking games.

Nice clean rooms, cool staff and they take you out at night along with the other guests if you wish. Best place for lone wolfes or your party crowd. It's fairly close to the beach for relaxing during the day.

Cozy, youthful, clean. The guys charge with their positive mood, and in the evening they will show you local bars.

Super friendly people run this place! Definitely go out with them and join them for happy hour after dinner! I recommend this place to everyone! The outside might seem a bit unassuming and the rooms are small, but the rooftop is large and open and a great place to chill!

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s like a big family. They go out every night which is a lot of fun. Staff and volunteers are the best!

Dirty bed linen is terrifying. Breakfast one is named E. Bread. Hummus. Tomatoes. Apparently the price equals quality. But 2500 per night in Russia on a decent much.

Very nice hostel! The stuff were very friendly and the place was really comfortable, with a beautiful terrace where you can rest, drink or meet people from everywhere. The free breakfast made the stay to be a 10 :)

Hostel with good backpacker atmosphere. It has a rooftop terrace where breakfast is served, which is the one that brings personality to the place. Decent breakfast, toast, salad and above all, a homemade hummus delicious! Very nice staff! Recommended.

Rather strange place — cool vibe but bad beds. People using the laundry machines all night can be disturbing. The staff is very welcoming but the beds gave me sleepless nights thanks to being only 190cm /6.3" long and also I was bitten all through the first night by something other than mosquitoes. The flair on the rooftop was cool. Many many Germans and Americans here.

Honestly one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff is amazing and made me feel at home the second I walked in, the vibe is SO cool, and I met some really amazing people. Anyone looking to have a good time and meet awesome people in TLV… this should be your next stop.

Very dirty, smell old, bed grey, in stains. I wanted to pay the water-said to drink from the crane. The only thing that liked is the receptionist! Good boy!

The staff and Omer in particular were so nice and really welcoming. They will help you with everything you can think of. Every night they are organizing a trip to a bar, pub or club with all the people that want to join. But you can also just stay in the hostel and just enjoy the really nice atmosphere in the well equiped kitchen or at the cosy rooftop. We really enjoyed our two nights there!

Fun and friendly staff. This hostel has a very genuine vibe. The staff and volunteers are more than willing to accommodate guests, help provide information, a laugh, or an insight into their culture. You feel like you're being welcomed into a family.

It looks more like a commune than a shared accommodation!

Very easy, good and prompt communication, overall easy atmosphere, large lounge balcony with good music, possibility to smoke and engage with other people, very clean room, comfortable bed, at 10 pm it was quiet and all people respected it. Location of the hostel is pretty far from the center of Old Yafa and also from beaches, surroundings are a bit scary at night but fine in the day.

Bath on my visit 2011 rather dirty but very cheap accommodation with great roof terrace! Good for backpackers.

Very clean and friendly hostel. I loved the roof top where you can just relax and get in contact with the other travelers. The kitchen is a little bit small. And the breakfast is quite basic but still OK.

Florentine hostel is by far the best hostel that I have ever stayed in. The accommodations are fine, not great but not horrible. There is good air conditioning and the beds are pretty comfortable and clean. What really makes this hostel is the social atmosphere. The deck is an amazing place to hang out and meet fellow travelers. The staff at the hostel are also energetic and amazing. They are so much fun and make the experience at florentine so much better.

I'm not sure that it's possible to stay here and never come back. No matter who you are or where you come from, what your story is — — you'll be welcomed with open arms at Florentine Hostel. Being a relatively smaller hostel (compared to, for example, Abraham), Florentine fosters an incredibly friendly and spontaneous vibe that makes everyone staying (and working) there feel like family. What goes on behind the scenes is what really makes the experience so amazing for the guests. The staff and functionality of the hostel is exceptionally organized so we (guests) can enjoy ourselves and be as spontaneous as we like, knowing we are in good hands. Florentine offers the vibe of ultimate freedom and spontaneity without compromising on cleanliness and organization. The place is always clean and fresh, thanks to the awesome staff and volunteers. Whether you are extending a Birthright trip or backpacking around the Middle East or anything in between — — If you're considering staying here, please do yourself a favor and book. You'll make friends and memories that last a lifetime, and you'll want to come back. Some of my closest friendships started on this terrace — — no one deserves NOT to experience this place. 10/10.

This is a good hostel choice if you need something cheap and not too inaccessible. It's a bit outside the main part of the city and might take a little longer to get to, but it is close to done restaurants. There are all sorts of accommodations here from individual rooms to sleeping in common areas. The individual rooms are what you would expect from a hostel and no frills, but at least some of the individual rooms have showers and provide towels. This place has AC, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere at night is quiet and I especially like the book exchange that's present. All said, this is a good place to stay, especially if you need something affordable, but be forewarned that it is a bit out of the way.

Great place If you are young soul. The guys try to maintain an atmosphere of ease and democracy. But the lack of hot water my girl caused a great neudobsto.

Florentine Hostel is an amazing place with a friendly staff, a vibrant atmosphere, and good accommodations. It's a short walk from the hostel to the beach, Jaffa, restaurants, and clubs. I recommend staying here to all travelers coming through Tel-Aviv.

I only planned on staying in Tel Aviv for 2 or 3 nights… I ended up staying for 5. It wasnt because I like Tel Aviv (because I really dont), but purely because I love this Hostel. After two days of being there, I felt like id been there for a week. After 5 days, I felt like id been there for a month. The manager & the whole staff are incredibly friendly, fun, helpful and professional in every aspect of running the hostel. Their ethos is that the guests are family — a very Israeli form of hospitality. Theyve created an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable to be themselves and be social. They lead guests on pub crawls most nights of the week and engage guests in all sorts of games and activities at night, as well as offering a free light dinner and breakfast (donation based). The hostel itself is a laid back, bohemian feel to it. You have the option of single bed rooms, dorms and sleeping on the patio on one of a dozen+ couches. The main floor is more of the party floor. If you want a quieter place to sleep then go for the bottom floors. The place is clean, but not sterile. They have laundry, multiple restrooms and showers and a full kitchen. From the outside it looks a bit homely, but it transforms immediatelt when you walk inside. It's also conveneiently located 10 minutes from Jaffa beach, 10 minutes from Rothchild blvd and has some cool bars nearby. It was hard for me to leave this place.

Super social, great atmosphere, everything that a hostel should be. They offer to go out every night with the hostel at 11, host group breakfast and dinners. The workers are awesome, except the fun police late night on the roof (hate that guy). But this is a place I'd highly recommend. I loved everything about it.

Maybe one of the best hostels I ever stayed, awesome staff, they helped me a lot when I lost my flight. Close to the beach, close to bike rent. Awesome roof.

Florentine Backpackers Hostel is easily my favorite Hostel in Tel Aviv. The Staff was friendly and really helpful. Everyone of the guests was seemed pleased and in a great mood. It was very easy to get in touch with new people and talking to everyone. The balcony is an awesome place with a great view.

Don't book a hammock! The stuff team is ok, but only book if you want Party at night.

Sick place sick vibe good for a party and to chill during the day the have free shisha at night and it gets everyone involved.

I stayed in two hostels in Tel Aviv, and this was my favourite of the two. Great people, funny staff and awesome group pub crawls around the city. There are some real characters there and everyone was super friendly. In terms of the accommodation… well, it's a hostel. It's built on a budget, but it's also clean and seemed well run.

I checked in here and immediately felt at home — the staff are chill and social, and straight away make sure you meet people and are told about all the things to do in Tel Aviv. They take you out at night and show you a good time. There's free shisha (water pipe) on the rooftop and everyone chills out. Great place, very social, clean and a good time.

Florentine hostel is so amazing and the staff work very hard to keep it running at its full potential. I had been in Israel for about two weeks when I came to Florentine and my trip got even better! The atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming. I met a great bunch of people there and went on some trips with a few of the other travelers I met there. To some it up: great place, great people, very welcoming.

A great place to start visiting Florentine district. Very hipster neighbourhood. It was the first place I stayed when in Israel, they welcoming you so nicely and makes you fell home from the beginning.

Thank you guys for all the good review (except the one israeli who didn't respect the rules. ) we are a backpackers hostel! we love what we do, and that's how we travel when we do. We are communial and love to meet other people, and we expect it from our guests. This is our place and our vibe. If you are backpackers. You are welcome. We have exellent backpackers locations. Close to all major attractions. 10 mintues walk to the old city of jaffa, the flea market and the beach. And 15 mintues to walk to center of town (Rothchild) and central bus station. And just around the corner of Florentine neighbourhood, the hip area with many bars and caffes and good and cheap food.

Good hostel, friendly atmosphere, cozy terrace, kitchen is not so well equiped, good air-conditioning :) Quite good location — near to beach, Jaffa, Bauhaus buildings. Only not so easy to find (just small sign on building doors, closest neighbough not so nice).

Ron, Rafi, Natalie, and the gang are wonderful and very accommodating. I walked in for the first time, tired and worn out and was instantly relaxed by the atmosphere of Florentine. One simply can not be stressed out on that porch. When they were out of beds they let me stay on the couch. This is where my friends and I will be staying anytime we're in Tel Aviv.
