We had with a nice sized room that had a very comfortable bed and a large shower. The entire hotel is maintained perfectly clean. The food was excelent. Service was very good. We were there with a number of friends for the Pesach holiday. Everyone in our group expects to bring more family and friends along next year.

This is a lovely family owned hotel. You literally feel like you belong. The staff go out of their way to attend to your needs and answer every question and find you information. I have never experienced such service. I would wholeheartedly recommend them especially if you’re looking for an intimate experience and connection to the area. Read the stories of the history of the hotel and feel free to chat and connect. You won’t regret it.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hospitality of the manager, his wife and the entire team is unmatched. They have gone out of their way to help us have a great experience.

It was a wonderful experience staying in the hotel for 5 nights and 6 days. Peaceful environment… great selections of food… the staff are friendly and accommodating… Wish I could come back in the future.

Room amazing breakfast awfull pool was amazing.

I didn't like the hotel at all for the following reasons: Cockroaches in the room. Thin terry cloths with stains.
For breakfast (self-service) you wait for the plate for 5 minutes after claiming 3 times with various controls. Then the coffee machine is out of order, there are some missing beastecke on the table. There was no hot water for tea just tea bags on the first day. Bread and butter also lacked to wait again 5 to 10 minutes …
In the meeting room half broken chairs as well in the swimming pool.
No shower in the swimming pool.
Etc…
Never again… The worst hotel I've experienced so far.

The standard rooms are a bit old and we expected a bit more. But it's okay. The rooms were clean. Not enough towels but there's a nice mini fridge and coffee set. Its a bit far from the kinerret but by car it's about five minutes drive. The breakfast is great and the hotel itself is nice. The public areas aren't that clean and the access to the pool is not very much comfortable. Overall it's a good hotel to just sleep and keep going. Receptionists were great! Thanks.

Hotel is good. Good breakfast and dinner. Nice nd smilled staff. Big and spaces rooms. It was clean. Hot watter at the morning is leak.

What a cool hotel in Tiberias. The rooms are very spacious, the breakfast really cool. And there is even a pool outside.

I love the settings. Good food, lovely restaurant but the Wi-Fi is poor in the rooms. Works well at the reception though.

The pool was always closed and what I assume is the manager was very hostile about it. He specifically stated multiple times that the next day that it would be open and when we went into the water he ran out there yelling at us to get out of the water right now! Our rooms also didn't have any towels and he said he couldn't get us any, when he had some in his hands a few minutes before.

Clean in the room, nice kitchen, wonderful bathroom. Very comfortable and huge bed. The bad one is there are no excursions. They entertained themselves.

Good Hotel in tiberias, would book again.

Nothing special about the hotel. The bathroom is outdated, pillows were all worn out, and the front desk forgot to send me new pillows even though he said "right away". I think they make their money providing space for religious gatherings.

Some of the rooms are very dirty and small. The meal was cold and there was a fly in the water… The pool is closed. It seems like that it isn't a hotel. And the Internet in the rooms are unusable…

Astoria is a third generation family run business. If you have a reasonable amount of funds available, it is one of the safest and nicest places to stay while in Tiberius. Tell the reservations manager, Riah or Avi or Ziad I recommended the hotel and you may be able to get an even better price than what is listed on their site. It is definitely worth a try.
