Absolutely horrible service won't be back food horrible too.

Want to highly recommend this pub the food was amazing staff were lovely Had 2 evening meals there and breakfast too couldnt recommend enough if your in clonmel check it out.

Had a meal here last night caesar salad to start, the lettuce came out in cumps so not separated to wash properly, main course was beef ciabatta, cold with no imagination involved in preparation, not really impressed.

Amazing lunch, with choice of 4 roasts plus other gorgeous food. The staff were very courteous and friendly and the chef was indeed a friendly, funny guy. Ty.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Besides the fact that the food, service and rooms were all top class, the management went above and beyond to help my partner and I this weekend when we unfortunately found ourselves stranded in Clonmel, car-less! (long story) All the staff were friendly and helpful and very professional. We will definitely be returning. Many thanks. Ailbe and Clare.

Went to mulcahys last week for birthday food & drinks. Our waitresses were lovely and went out of their way to help us! Food was delicious as were the cocktails.

Love dinning out in Mulcathy's staff so friendly, for to die for, nice relaxing experience.

HAVE been staying here throughout the years and again 2 night stay this weekend Booked the family room fo r 2 night stay August No complaints staff friendly obliging would highly recommend central to everything.

I stay here every time I come to clonmel it’s warm and inviting to all who come trough the door, great selection of drinks and the food is tasty and the rooms are airy and comfortable.

Very disappointed, had lunch here 2day with my 2 teenagers. 34euro 4 chicken caesar salad (ok) chips & 3 chicken goujons (served on small side plate) (plus chips were awful) plus cajun chicken panini (should been advertised as cajun chicken baguette as it was a baguette not a panini) plus 3 small cokes. Food no way as nice as it used to be plus way over priced 4 what we got. One very disappointed customer.

Very disappointed, went in here today for dinner… we ordered our dinner… waited 50 minutes and still no sign of the food… we asked about our order and were told the order hadn't gone through in the till… very disappointing!

Really excellent carvery lunch with a huge range of choices on the menu. Food was served quickly, was hot, tasted great and portion sizes were perfect. Staff were very efficient and everyone I interacted with, from the serving staff to the guy on the till we're very friendly.

Food and drink and staff are lovely. Rooms very basic. Main road outside the building very noisy up to about four in the morning.

Nobody underage there, good and calm atmosphere, friendly and professional staff who know how to pour a point, good for watching the world cup and very good hospitality One of my favourite pubs to visit in Clonmel.

Come here for good food and drink with friendly service. One of the higher end restaurants in downtown Clonmel with a globally inspired menu with steak, fish, duck, pasta, and curry. Decent wine list and lots of beers on tap. The main seating area looked as though it has been updated or refurbished.

Trying to sleep at after 11 at night when someone outside is dragging tables about isn't ideal. Then to be woke at half 6 by someone dragging kegs about is a joke. Food is very hit or miss. Great one night bad the next. Room is very basic and quite small. Definitely would stay elsewhere in Clonmel.

My eight year old son received a very severe case of food poisoning from the restaurant today after being served undercooked burger in way home from Tipp v Waterford. Contacted the bar by phone to complain when arrived home and received very poor and arrogant response from bar staff 'paul'. Disgusted by lack of compassion or concern.

Best roast beef in the world. If u wanna good meat, excellent gravy, homemade Yorkshire pudding and lot of vegetables or chips for cheap price, this is place. Meat is always fresh, soft and medium made. Really, this is best carvery in Ireland.

Exceptional service. Wonderful carvery with a choice of roasts, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, huge choice of fresh vegetables, and if friendly, professional staff.

Food not good… From 11 people eating there one day four people get stomach problems, very sorry to write it here but you need to get better otherwise you will luz your customers. Waitresses very good!

Food is great, a bit pricey.

Being from waterford we often vist clonmel and always pop into mulcahys for our dinner and always enjoyed our experience until last friday when I found what was clearly a stone in my bacon dinner. I bit down obvisously not expecting to bite a stone and hurt my tooth which is now still painful. I did not make a scene I called a server in private and was respectful enough not to let other customers hear me, the stone was took off me and after a few minutes the server arrived at my table and said that an investigation was going to be carried out and wrote my number on "tissue" not even asking my name, at this point I knew it wasnt going to be treated seriously, I told the staff member that I was not happy to leave with the issue unresolved and the best he could do was give the kids free ice-cream, which is a joke. I have since contacted the hotel who are still fobbing me off and could not care less. An absolute disgrace, I paid for 5 dinners, and ended up with a stone in my dinner, a toothache and left hungry. Its a disgrace.

Good food and good service nicely priced.

I have been to Muchay's for breakfast twice; on each occasion, I had an excellent breakfast. The dinner here is also outstanding and represents a good value for money. The staff were friendly, considerate and professional at their jobs; the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning to this place and would recommend it without hesitation.

Our room was clean and well heated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated and the hot water a bit temperamental (although I see in a previous review that the bathrooms will be renovated shortly). We had the full Irish breakfast which was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and courteous.

Restaurant great food amazing bedrooms old and nasty would not use the shower cracked tiles in the bathroom 100 euros a night not worth it.

Serving staff very impatient with children trying to choose dinners even though no one else being served. And charged 9-50 for a slice of beef with carrots and a burnt Yorkshire pudding. Not impressed at all.

Very impressed with the quality of the kids menu. My kids had a lovely home made chicken curry, far better than the usual Irish fare of chicken nuggets/sausages.

Staff lovely but there was a very bad odour in the place.

Good choice od beers, nice craft ale but the steak strips sandwich just ok.

Serves a carvery menu with a selection of roasts as well as sandwiches and pizza. Food is generally good for what it is but the atmosphere is lacking during the day as thete is almost no natural light. the dark exterior works much better in the evening.

Very nice pub. There are pool tables and plenty of seats.

The food is not great and the place is tired and old fashioned and the staff can be unhelpful. Could do with some modernisation to its menu and surroundings.

I had an excellent breakfast here. The value for money was good and the food were good. The service was excellent.

Good food, but chicken meals aren't they best things. Fair prices. Accommodation: Clean, small rooms with extremely uncomfortable single beds, just to small. No heating overnight. No emergency exits so in case of fire you can get roasted. Breakfast from list. Not an open buffet.
