It a good place to sleep but it does not have necessities like hand soap or body wash. Also the directions to get here are impossible you will need to ask someone how to get here.

Cottages were very clean and cosy. Plenty of cleaning products supplied 5 mins drive from killarney town and loads of activities near by. Kennedy's pet farm a definite must if u have young children. Ideal for the quiet romantic break for a couple too. Old killarney pub less then 60mtrs walk fmom our cottage and literally a max 2 min walk from any of the other cotrages at most. Would highly recommend x.

Ok. Welcome home. Nice Cottage, clean and very quiet in May. Lack of dishes for 1 lodging of 8 persons. Wifi almost non existent… The reception does not speak French damage. Killarney is a very nice city. Of businesses and facilities. The National park is beautiful. The Ring of Kerry is not to be missed.

Sofa skin was peeling off… … Location certainly is nice… But place needs work…

Lovely cottage, plenty of space for 8 people, clean beds, bathroom shower could’ve been better though.

Big space and a fair price. Just need to get some food as you have everything else there. At the top. Of the hill (10 min walk) u can see the kilarney national park, great views.

Old Killarney cottages are fabulous really warm in winter and we we're there in summer and I would highly recommend them to anybody loved Killarney and all it has to offer.

Nice place to stay. Large duplex style housing. It was the right price for. Our group of 7 to stay comfortably. Comfortable beds and you can even opt to have a welcome basket to include some Pete and light foods for your stay. Very cool. One downside is that we did run out of hot water in the morning.

These cottages are very deceiving looking from outside. They look tiny but inside is spacious and open! Really lovely houses for a stay in Killarney.

House was comfortable and recently updated, but bathrooms were still dated. Be aware that this is a collection of cottages so they might all be different to each other inside. The area is quiet but not really accessible without a car. There's a supermarket nearby and the town is only a few minutes drive away.

Great place to stay if you are traveling this part of Ireland. We stayed here for a week and it was a good point from where we visited Killarney National Park, Dingle, Cork, Clifs of moher… The houses have that traditional architecture and makes you feel like an authentic irishman. :) Înside you will find all you can possible need, the kitchen is well equiped, nice outdoor place to stay behind the house. highltly recomended.

Great holiday accommodation ran by lovely helpful staff. On-site pub fantastic for families.

Nice place, but the little details could do with a little more attention (lamps above the bathroom mirrors not working, upper drawer of the dishwasher broken, light switches in pretty illogical places: kitchen lights only operable from the front entry, hard to operate boiler…). As mentioned afore, just details, but they would make the overall experience even nicer.

Great location, quiet area. House was clean and comfy but could've done with a bit more maintenance. Lighting was poor, multiple sinks were leaking and the fridge was tiny. No hand towels were provided. Overall it was nice stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back again if a little upgrade was done to a few things around the house.

Looks lovely from outside but inside is horribly maintained 1. Poor water heating system. Water tirns cold quickly. Wasted alot of time for family to get showered. 2. Room does not have heater 3. Internet is too slow.

This place could do well if they pay attention to the small details. 1) the Wi-Fi is so slow Facebook can't even load, don't bother about uploading photos or watch youtube; 2) door handle broken not fixed, it's a hazard; 3) toilet bowl designed so close to the wall u have to sit sideways to do your business; 4) sofa in tatters but don't bother to replace; 5) very very importantly, the hot water system is a bugger, there's only enough water for one person to shower then turns to icy cold, u have to reset the timer every 2 hours or wake up in the morning to cold showers (the cottage is meant to sleep 8 by the way). Note, we stayed at cottage 28. Other than that, the basic kitchen amenities, beddings are ok.

Self-catering cottages — old-fashioned thatch roofs but modern inside. Old Killarney Cottages are about 2km outside Killarney town and make an ideal base for a holiday. Each cottage has three bedrooms, and there's a mezzanine with two single beds, so they can each sleep 8 people — six would be more comfortable, though. The cottages are clean and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities you'd expect. Some can be a little light on decent cooking utensils but they all have full cooker, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There are electric storage heaters, and an open fireplace. Flatscreen TV in the living room, and Wifi. There is a pub nearby, the Old Killarney Inn (same owners? ), which has friendly staff and serves food in the evenings. Decent selection of beers including two Irish craft brewers.

Stayed here in December 2009 and very much enjoyed it. It was a great to stay in a traditional style home with all the modern conveniences. The local pub was a short walk away located in a neighborhood just behind the cottages. Downtown Killarney was only a short drive plus it was nice being at the head of the Ring of Kerry. It was nice to have the open country feel and still be close enough to the actual city to not miss anything. The cottage itself was very comfortable and quite roomy. There was 1 bedroom down, 1 up, plus a loft. I would enjoy staying here again.
