This stunningly beautiful and charming hotel is the perfect escape.
From the moment you walk in the front door you’ll feel your whole body relax. Welcoming friendly staff who make every guest feel like a V. I. P. My previous stay coincided with President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina staying, every guest was afforded the same wonderful friendly service with a smile as the President and his wife.
Breathtakingly beautiful scenery.
If you’re booking try to get a sea view room. You’ll sleep and awaken to the sound and view of the sea.
Food is superb, breakfast cooked fresh as you order, huge variety to cater for every taste.
All of the above and yet it’s extremely affordable.
If you need to unwind, get yourself booked in pronto.
If it’s good enough for the President, it’s good enough for you.

The hospitality of the hotel staffs were the best and everyone was so nice and friendly. We arrived after 9pm and they told us not to worry about checking in and enjoyed our dinner first. After dinner, we took a walk at the beach and came back to the front desk, they just gave us the key and said good night without even asking for our credit card! Breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from and super fresh, much better than the expensive hotel we stayed in Dublin! Fiona from the hotel recommended the Bromore Cliffs and called the owner for us for a personal tour! The location was great with beautiful ocean and cliffs view. The Cliff House hotel was the best family run hotel we've ever stayed at, we highly recommend!

Lovely views & a very warm family friendly welcome. Bar food is very good. Best spot in Ballybunion for a meal & a few drinks if you have younger kids.

I am coach driver just stayed for 2 nights with group from France staff where first class from management to bar staff and the lady in laundry service of a 5 star hotel well done to the management for training staff so well.

We had our wedding reception here and what Fiona and her staff put on for us was way beyond our expectations. Everything about this place leaves you with a huge smile on your face, from the attention to detail from Fiona and Kevin, to the wonderful staff who are so polite and genuinely happy, they are a credit to the hotel. Thank you guys so much for a fabulous time. We will definitely be back, you made our special day, very very special xxxxx.

Nice hotel in a fabulous location with lovely food and staff. Only downside is every sound travels at night, impossible to sleep, bring earplugs!

We only went to the restaurant and ate very well. Moreover the waitress was adorable, too happy to see French to practice our language. Frame with ocean view and castle ruin.

Beautiful spot on the cliff of the coast. Hotel staff are absolutely amazing, we were the last of the season and they made us feel welcome right up to the last minute we were there. Very highly recommended.

Spent last night at the Cliff House Hotel, could only be described as a first class hotel. Staff were so friendly, helpful and at hand to offer advice as required. We had a room with a sea view — could only be described in one word " amazing". Spotlessly clean everything. The view is something to be adored. The food is exceptional and had a gorgeous steak and scampi meal — to die for. The breakfast just wonderful. Over all this hotel is recommended if you are looking for pure luxury and comfort. Well done to all who work there and to the owners "thank you" for the wonderful experience. Cliff Walk highly recommended too. Lovely gentile local people in Ballybunnion. Pleasure to have been lucky to enough to discover the hotel.

Stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights Not too far from the town centre but very close to the beach Quiet clean and friendly Good musicians played in the bar at night Reasonably priced Would stay there again.

We got Married at the Cliff House on April 28th of this year. We live in Australia and flew home a week before the Wedding. From the first minute We walked in the door We were welcomed by the warm and caring staff. Fiona the hotel manager was so attentive to my needs and wants. The Cliff house went above and beyond to make our day extraordinary just perfect. Every detail was catered for the food was top class and all of our guests commented on how friendly and obliging the staff were! We had our ceremony in the front restaurant which was absolutely beautiful looking out over the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel for food, accomodation, weddings or any special occasions. It's a family run hotel and they truely make you feel like family too!
I can't thank the Cliff House enough for making our special day absolutely PERFECT! I will hold a special fondness for the Cliff House.

No better place to go in ballybunion staff are amazing and go out of there way to make your stay perfect X the views are unreal here too waking up each morning to the beautiful beach … Breakfast is a delight with the best waitress we have ever met Ellen … My little boy does not stop talking about her … Fantastic place for children cannot wait to revisit X.
