Extremely helpful & facilitating in dealing with my sons complex allergies (allergic to egg, milk, soya and rice flour) including cooking food separately and organising milk & bread that was suitable. Had vegan ice cream also which was a great treat. Great pool & no pre booking required. Great value!

Everything lovely staff very helpful have been coming for 13 years every bank holiday.

We had a nice long week end Dancing package. Nice staff lovely food rooms do the job, lots of parking, gym and spa kept us going. Fantastic for the price, we'll call again.

We had a lovely evening, dinner in the bar followed by a visit it to santa, which was excellent, best I've been too.
I would rearecommend the Lasagne and the children loved the bolognaise.

We recently stayed here. The staff at reception was lovely but the house keeping staff was not. There was nine of us. Four adults and 5 kids. The food was shocking. I rang ahead and asked about coeliac and had they gluten free. The assured me that they did. But when I went to the bar and asked the waiter he said he wasn't sure. He said he would ask the chef. When he came out he said he thinks the stir fry was gluten free. But no information about seperate fryers or area. I told him I can't have normal food but he said I could have the roast and mash. So I went with that and when it came out it had gravy which I said I can't have. Breakfast was a disaster. The girl as u walk in was very rude and told me we weren't booked in and I said yes we are. She told me to go to reception and check. Which was next door. She could have said I'll check for u but no. So when I told her we are down on the list she said oh there is ur name. Terrible. My husband was putting bags into our car and the house keeping asked him what room was he. He said oh we aren't leaving yet as it was only 10am. She shrugged and tru her eyes up. The hotel needs an upgrade badly except for the pool which was lovely and staff was lovely in there. But again food was terrible. Even the presentation of it was terrible and not much options. As I said breakfast was all over the place. Toaster one side and bread on the other. Not much hot food for the amount that was there.

Just checked in. 10 friends together. Very helpful staff. Great chatty bar staff. Good Gin and even better Guinness!

It’s disgusting the way this hotel staff have treated a family, and nearly ruin a little girls communion. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

An absolute disgrace we had rooms booked and one of my friends had her rooms even paid for in advance was speaking with receptionist yesterday morning ever was fine packed up everything drove there kids all excited only to arrive and be told we needed credit card in our own name to check into room not to use to pay for the room but they needed it in case of any damages I offered my mothers credit card that she only lived in shannon and would come to hotel they said no the card has to have the person staying in the rooms name on it we were supposed to stay for 2 nights to have pleaded with them and they didnt care our kids crying and it difnt matter I even asked could we just stay the one night the owner refused only to get back to limerick and find out 2 people who we know checked in one using a visa debit card which we all had and the other using her daughters credit card and she wasnt with her in the hotel my best friends partner is a travelling man and I cant help but feel we were discriminated against my heart is broken for my kids this time if year after all this corona virus has put families through so hurt shame on ye and not only that but we had autistic children with us and there was no understanding or thought for all it took for us to get there I'm dumb founded at the lack of respect we were shown when the manager lisa herself said yes it was her staff ally fault for failing to inform me over the phone that I need a credit card and she also sent my confirmation

Just want to say a huge thanks to treacys west county hotel and especially Nicole who organised our wedding on Friday with only 2 weeks notice, the place was amazing couldn't have asked for any nicer the food was amazing staff were brilliant so friendly and couldn't do enough for us we are so greatful for the short notice they took us in and couldn't do enough for us and they stuck to all the covid19 rules and we still had an amazing day thank ye all so much Natalie and Jamie ❤

Great family rooms, fab food and very friendly helpful staff, fantastic kids club! Within walking distance off restaurants, pubs and shopping centre. And not too far from major tourist attractions!

We had a lovely 2 night stay here last week. The staff worked really well & also felt very safe with all the regulations they had in place due to covid 19. Hand sanitise stations all over the place & the bar was well spaced out for food. This was our first visit to Treacys but won’t be our last.

Just home from a 2 night stay with a family of 4. Only fault is the bathroom could do with a little DIY other than that staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was fabulous. Picnic basket was a lovely extra…

Room was clean and comfortable. Fan in the room On arrival which was a nice thought. As a family room there was 5 of us in it. It was grand if a little warm but that can't be helped with the weather as good as it was. Busy hotel. Breakfast was lovely buffet style but everything was fresh pancakes available to order for the kids. We had a very enjoyable stay and would go back.

Overall probably very nice hotel. Only we had for one! Overnight then just not the better rooms. Nice attached bar with life music, casual, cozy, breakfast — as so often in the round trip hotels — a small disaster. The occasional rush is not up to organisationally.

Nice food, quick service and a good selection available. Nice setting. Big open bar and plenty of space. Hotel is a good spot for a meeting or family occasion. Nice friendly staff and quick to say hello and look after you. Even when busy.

Lovely and easy to find place perfect for meeting get together or any celebration events. Lots of room for parking. Food is fine could improve looking at the fact it's a busy place. Easily refer to friends and fam.

Cute hotel, about 1 km from the city center. The rooms are not huge, but clean enough. Very good dinners, breakfast buffet more assorted on salty than sweet. Very nice and quaint pub inside the hotel, with live music.

My two friends and I booked a room through a third-party booking site after a hotel we wanted closer to town was no longer available. While it was our second choice hotel, simply due to proximity to town, we had a pleasant stay. Our family room was upgraded to a room with bunk beds after I shared that bunk beds was our reason for staying (where else can adults sleep in bunk beds? ) so we had five beds in total, which was amazing (and spacious). The hotel itself is really a conference center, with long hallways and tons of meeting rooms. Our rooms were nice enough, basic furniture, much like conference rooms themselves. The bathtub was large and they provide you with body wash and hand soap via dispensers. Wi-Fi is free without a log-in throughout the facility and they've made a lot of efforts to make their facility fully wheelchair-accessible. As for proximity to the heart of town, you'll be able to walk there in about 15 minutes and a pub will call you a taxi back, which will cost you about 7 euro. Well worth saving a lot of money to stay a tiny bit farther away, though the hotel has a few dining options, too.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Different restaurants and event rooms available plus bar and outside seating area. Plenty of parking and its next to the main road so its easy to find.

Amazing welcome by front staff, rooms very dated and needs a revamp! Bar food great and kids can stay in bar until 10pm. Breakfast was only fair, dirty hot buffet section and really dried up, and this was at 8.30am! Kids can't use the pool until 9am which was a pity because we have really early risers and would have liked a swim earlier. I think that this is an insurance issue though.

Stayed in the hotel from the 17th for two nights. Rooms very clean beds lovely and comfortable. Staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Child friendly. Breakfast very good as was the food in the restaurant. Would recommend this hotel.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had staying in a hotel, and I travel nationwide with my job. Hotel itself is dated and badly needs refurbishment, the service staff are lazy and disinterested. Ordered food in the bar and when it came out it was obviously a reheated lasagne that was tasteless, the chips were reheats too. The room was cold very low tog quilt on the bed, came down for breakfast and had to wait 3/4 minutes to get checked off the list despite there only being 3 other guests in the dining area, went and got some fruit and yogurt and waited for a server to take my order for a hot breakfast, didn't happen. Ate my fruit waited 15 mins and then left. Made my complaints at reception as I checked out and informed them that I had stayed in The Auburn Lodge in Ennis previously and would be doing so from now on. Would definitely never go back and would not recommend this hotel, definitely not a 3 star never mind a 3.9.

Absolutely wouldn't stay there again. Was there with 2 young kids and we had to leave after the first night. The baby cot supplied was disgusting and filthy. The hotel is so dirty and there was drunken guests lying all over the lobby area in the morning time. We had no heating in our room, and we complaint. Nothing was done and we were told by a very unprofessional so called manager that our room was the only room in the entire hotel to complain about no heat. We had to leave and stay at the far superior Woodstock, the staff are so friendly and love. The staff at the Tracy's are unprofessional, badly trained and rude. Stay stay well away from this hotel you've been warned.

Stayed here many times before but never again. At 9:40 pm we were informed by a member of staff that as we had children we would have to finish our meal and be out of the bar area by 10 pm as this was now the hotel policy. We complained to the bar manager but he proved to be equally as ignorant. We have been coming to this hotel for the last 9 years but obviously our custom is not needed any more. On the same night 3 other families that happened to be there also felt that they were treated like dirt and said they would be making an official complaint to management. In fairness the rest of the hotel staff were excellent and the food was very good.

Our room was lovely and modern, clean and airy. Food in the restaurant was beautiful. Big selection for breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Recommend!

Not great. The West Cafe was chilly. I ordered a wrap which was supposed to be toasted but wasn't & having waited for 15 mins for it (my coffee was nearly cold by then) I didn't have time to send it back. On the good side, the lady serving was very pleasant.

Hotel is nice, rooms comfortable and clean, evening meal was beautiful, my only fault was breakfast, the bacon was way over cooked and cold no plates available at buffet to self serve my hot breakfast, server on duty had no people skills. They approached our table asked for my room number and left. There was no other communication such as good morning, how are you this morning, nothing. And no thank you or have a nice day when leaving the restaurant, little things like that makes a great difference in the hospitality industry,

Food was really excellent, staff where friendly. But the wait was very long, staff obviously ran off their feet. A full hour after ordering I found my self eating my rather tasty main course with a tea spoon as we still had not received our knives and falks. Im going to try it again in the hope that it was just a unusually busy day. The food is worth giving it another go.

Very outdated hotel. The sink in the bathroom has two faucets, one hot, one cold. The rooms do not have any AC, and are deadly hot during the day when the sun was coming in the windows. They did provide a little plug in fan, but it did not help with anything other than circulating the hot air. The staff was pleasant, housekeeping was great, food options "ok".

Nice hotel, staff are all very nice and friendly. The pub food was average n a little pricey but they have a restaurant that opens in the evenings.

Great staff friendly and enjoyable place to stay going through revamp at the minute so some works taking place but didn't interfere with my stay.

We had a pleasant 5 night stay at the west county, it was reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is very clean and well run and the leisure centre while being slightly dated is also clean and staffed by courteous people. The music in the bar is good however we felt the bar staff were too young. That while most were capable they should have an expierienced overseer. I had to ask for my pint of Guinness to settle for more than 10 seconds before being topped off and when I did the girl in question became very snappy which I put down to inexperience. We will return again to the west county.

Amazing hotel with the perfect Irish feel. The bar and restaurant were excellent as well as the staff. Free Wi-Fi, upgraded amenities, and fast access to downtown. It's a wonderful place to stay.

It's not that clean and there is mould on some walls.

It's clean. Free Wi-Fi. Spacious. Back stairs is in very bad shape. Might be cause of the flooding A bit noisy at night.

My first trip to ireland. I came to see the The High Kings in concert at the West County Hotel. The concert was fanastic but my experience with the hotel staff was poor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel but would highly recommend The High Kings.

Room was smells old and had a spider crawling in it. No heating and at first we were told that it was broken and in the morning we complaint in the reception because it was really cold during the night and we're only told by the staff that they dont provide heating on september? instead we were only provided with a very small portable heater not enough to comfort my family of two kids. Horrible stay. But infairnness the foods are great.
