Good Irish breakfast and scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage. We’ll need. Lovely friendly staff. Bathrooms very clean.

We called in for lunch and it was great, nice food and nice staff, well run during this strange covid world.

Highly recommend Crottys restaurant, food was hot, delicious, and served quickly even though at 7, 30 pm they were very busy, staff very friendly, will call again, a Kilkenny fan. 😊

We stayed for three nights. The staff were brilliant. Breakfast, lunch and dinners were great. We were on a short cycling break and the staff were more than accomodating and a great help.

Ordered finger food for a birthday party 2 weeks ago, so tasty and beautifully presented. Huge portions and dips included. Would highly recommend.

I personally have always loved crottys pub, live music on weekends, great food served, fast staff always on point, draughts are spot on here. So if you're looking for a family day out or a good night out with friends in Kilrush I highly recommend crottys.

B&b rooms need to be refurbished. Shower needs to be grouted. Breakfast very good. Pub atmosphere good.

Great irish pub but I don't like the addition of a big screen to watch the sport on. Lovely quaint ante rooms, with traditional music on certain nights.

Nice friendly pint with friends, however don't use the toilets as there is no running water to wash your hands. Also there is a sign up saying no electronic cigarettes allowed, but this is blatantly ignored. When this is brought to the attention of management, the excuse is " What can I do about it ". Plus my wife was nearly accosted by a member of the bar staff when she was trying to talk to the manager/ owner.

Crottys Pub was recommended to us on a recent trip we took to Clare, I went for the fish and chips while the missus went for a chicken curry. The fish was gorgeous, I'm glad I chose it. Ultimately the food was nice and served quickly, the only thing preventing me from giving it 5/5 was the fact that I didn't love the menu options.

Car parking is in the raod outside of the pub. We had no problems finding a space. The staff were welcoming. We ate at the pub and it's has great pub atmosphere with great food and service. Kilrush is a small town and it is nice to stay off the tourist track. Lovely pub and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Went in for Breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good. The interior was lovely and clean with plenty of Old Time Memorabilia. I would imagine it would make a great spot for a Pint. Loved it.

Great place. A small but comfortable old style pub set on the wild Atlantic way town of Kilrush. A pub well known for its fresh food bought locally. Also a Bed and breakfast you are welcomed in by the friendly staff and regulars. Warm and friendly.

What a great little pub and really friendly manager and staff. Even gave us some taytos for free. Lol.

Had our work Christmas party here, from start to finish we were made feel so welcome nothing was too much for the wonderful staff who took such good care of us having to cater for 18 of us it didn't phase them. The food was absolutely beautiful (massive portions) and most importantly at a very reasonable price. The function room was done up beautifully for this time of year, they had mulled wine and christmas crackers which made it all the more special, I would highly recommend Crottys for any occasion so happy we chose here for our night out. Thank you Martin Frank and your staff keep up the good work.

Had a friends birthday here food was fab and was not expensive will definitely be going back again.

Celebrated my parents 50th anniversary there last Tuesday night. Martin Frank and his staff couldn't do enough for us. The though that was put into making their night so special went above and beyond the call of duty. And the food was just amazing. Thank you. I would highly recommend it.

Staff friendly good service. Change of menu since my last visit 2 yrs. Ago. Personally I missed that however the meal was OK.

Called in to this pub on Saturday evening last. Nice place the food was lovely we got exactly as we asked but the staff were not a bit friendly. The waitress took our order and returned with our food and that was it. No conversation nothing. What happened to the FRIENDLY IRISH. Not in this pub. We had our meal and a drink with it and moved on. Would not encourage a person to stay for the night.

Absolutely no recommendation! The service staff is not even able to operate a coffee machine yet. Either lack of knowledge or lack of desire. Both are equally stupid if you are to feel comfortable as a guest there.

The quality of the rooms is also unparalleled scrotum. Was happy when the night was over and could get away there again.

This is for the Accomodation: the rooms have seen better times — once upon a time. But for one night some people can be fine with it — with three Pints of Guinness in the evening. But the worst was the breakfast. The Staff didn't know how to work in gastronomy — they couldn't handle the coffee machine, should I say anything else?

Staff are lovely and the place is very nice inside. Very homely feel to it.

This place seems to be the best drinking pub in town. The food was pretty good. The Bed & Breakfast was sub-par though. The building is nice for how old it is but everything seemed like it was dirty. Coffee mugs had drops of tea/coffee in them still, the shower needed a good scrubbing, the windows had smudges on them, and the bed was pretty squeaky. I'd drink/eat there again, but I would find another place to sleep.

Fantastic food and the staff were amazing especially with our 1 year old, they were so helpful. Already recommended to our family.

The service was good as was the food. I am all for the rustic look but the overall look of the bar was grubby.

Delicious food but slightly over priced more of a touriesty sort of Irish bar.
