This was one of the nicest B&Bs that we stayed in during our time in Ireland. It's conveniently located close to the Bunratty castle and folk park, as well as other attractions. They were accommodating when we requested a gluten free breakfast. The Wifi was a little slow, but it is usable most of the time.

We got in really late, but Lorraine still welcomed us with open arms! She gave us a wonderful room and great dinner recommendations! For breakfast you can choose the night before what you like to have and I had the best porridge EVER! Lorraine gave us great tips on what's going on and what we have to see! We only stayed one night but we will be back, thats for sure!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Bunratty Haven on July 30, 2017. Lorraine was so welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at home. We enjoyed our last dinner in Ireland at a wonderful pub that she recommended. The proximity to Shannon Airport made for an easy departure the following morning. We would definitely stay there again!

This family treats you like family. They are quite accommodating hosts, who run a spotless establishment that appears to have been renovated last week, though she swears it's not. The breakfast is nice, and be advised that items on the menu may be cooked to order (good to know if you don't like hard yolks in your eggs or prefer a spare instead of pudding). Water is hot, beds are comfortable, linens are very nice. The only minor complaint that I have is that the Wi-Fi is a bit dodgy and could benefit from a modern router and repeater. Edited: the Internet is not a house problem, but a Shannon issue. The house is only receiving a 3mbp/s line, though the provider keeps promising to update the service… someday. In hindsight, internet was bad across the country, so plan in swinging by Vodaphine and getting a sim card for your mobile phone for 15€. Edited to add; I would have preferred fluffier pillows on the bed, but I believe that what they have is the standard for Ireland. If they imported some better pillows and pillowcases, they would surely be treating their guests to a much higher quality experience than the competition. This in no way detracts from our experience, but is a suggestion. We could not recommend this location more, and would love to stay again. One last thing, and this goes for any place you eat breakfast; make sure you research what black and white pudding is before you order it for breakfast. You have been warned!

Good facilities, friendly and welcoming hostess, good breakfast, well situated.

Absolutely one of our favorite stops on our 2-week trip in July 2016. Hubby and I stayed there with our 4 boys our first night. And then, after the boys went home, hubby and I capped off our solo week with another night's stay. The home and its surroundings are beautiful — beds were very comfy — and breakfast was delicious. Lorraine was so gracious — and Miss Sarah gave us the best table service we had throughout all of Ireland! We hope to be back some day!

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming bed & breakfast in the Irish countryside. Room was very clean and quiet. Many alternatives for breakfast. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. We absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. Lorraine always had helpful tips, including stopping at the Rock of Cashel on our way back to Dublin. I would highly recommend Bunratty Haven to anyone and we will definitely go back if we're in Ireland again.

This review is long over due. We stayed here in June2015. Great cozy acomodations. Lorraine and her family are very kind. Very clean place and excellent breakfast.

My husband and I have stayed there twice and have loved it both times. Lorraine and Noel are very accommodating and make you feel at home. The food is wonderful, the sleeping arrangements are also wonderful. Lorraine is very knowledgeable of fun things to do around the area. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.
