I do recommend the golf course, it was in top condition with some beautiful holes and views, and the staff were very pleasant. However, don’t waste your hard earned money on the food truck. They’ve really stretched the term gourmet food. For the prices charged I expected better quality. The “hotdog” was two small sausages in a borderline stale bun with some unidentifiable fillings, all for the accommodating price of €9.

Lovely, friendly, professional staff. The hotel was excellently prepared for COVID with every detail covered, yet the atmosphere was still relaxed and tranquil. We felt safe in these strange times. Would highly recommend a visit.

I have stayed many times with my husband or a girls nite out. Go regularly for Sunday Eve dinner in the bar and have had many family occasions there.
The food is fabulous and the Staff amazing they even personalised the menu for my daughter's confirmation and gave her a card with a gift ❤️ PS. I only live 20min away.

The hotel is really beautiful, clean and modern set on picturesque grounds and staff were brilliant, very friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed mid week with our daughter and the staff ensured we had a great stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all the family. We will definitely be returning to the hotel again for another stay.

Just home from an amazing Weekend with my partner. Our room was very large and nice. The staff very courteous and friendly. The food was well prepared and tasty. A big selection at the breakfast buffet. We will be returning.

Beautiful hotel. Bedrooms spotless with lots of space. Staff very friendly and efficent especially reception staff. Restaurant food is gorgeous but very slow service to the point we were going to leave dessert as it took so long for someone to come back to us. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel room, mostly friendly staff however we did not have a relaxing stay. The door of the room beside us slammed when it closed, very loud. Between people checking out and the cleaning staff afterward, a lie in was out of the question on the first morning. A group of guys were staying there the following night. They were in and out throughout the night, 2-4 am, constant loud slamming of the door. You simply could not sleep. Then another bout around 6am, followed by more at 9:45am. The lads themselves once in the room were quiet enough and not causing a problem. An extremely poor design choice or laziness to address. Just a very very bad feature in an otherwise lovely hotel. Put some kind of padding on the door frame or something maybe?

Lovely hotel that is located on the lakes with sometimes spectacular views. The golf course is open and yet tricky. Water features on three holes where I struck out. Magnetic. Food was very good and the views were lovely across the 18th hole. Rooms comfortable and clean. Overall service was good.

I can say this without pause, the staff at this hotel were more helpful and generous than any hotel experience I’ve ever had. My traveling companion has a sleep disorder require an extra bed, extra pillows and cool air. Sounds a handful? The staff, the manager himself carried an extra bed to the 3rd floor himself, found us a fan, moved our rooms, and spoke to us in depth about our concerns, and far beyond to a personable pleasant exchange. I was very impressed by their efforts, the grounds and surrounding landscapes and scenery, and the rooms.

Beautiful hotel and the grounds have stunning views, I'd love to spend a weekend their. If you like golf then you'll love this place.

Fabulous hotel with lots of places for photographs. The staff were very helpful on the day of the Wedding I photographed.

Absolutely loved this course a few years ago. Really disappointed this time — very wet and in poor condition and a lot of bunkers out of action — will not be in a hurry back. Sorry.

Good overnight in the hotel with a group of walking friends. Food in the restaurant was excellent, music in the bar afterwards hit the right note.

Had a great lunch at the elk bar and there's a lovely few walks around the grounds.

My son had his wedding here on the 29th Dec. What a wonderful day we had. The hotel was was a beautiful setting and the staff so helpful nothing was to much. Ashling who looked after us at the top table — thank you. If you enjoy a very late night the residents bar won't let you down.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great comfort, excellent friendly service, wedding event so well organized. All in a beautiful setting.

Beautifully located resort but could do with some modernisation. Bedrooms are spacious and classy but bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. Really enjoyed the Lime Tree Restaurant for food. Overall an enjoyable and good value stay but not quite 4* standard.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, the beds are so comfortable and the food is brilliant. The staff are wonderful, a special mention to the fabulous Heather who really went above and beyond. A massive thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had our daughters christening here yesterday and had a very positive experience. It was a fantastic day and the staff were excellent from the event coordinators to the waiting and bar staff. The food was beautiful and all the guests commented on this. We also stayed the night and had a lovely room (standard double) with plenty of space for us and the baby. There was a great buzz about the hotel with music in the bar and plenty of areas to sit either in the bar or lobby. Would love to go back for a chilled weekend.

Second visit to tulfarris for for golf and one night stopover, course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain recently, the views around the course of the surrounding countryside and lakes are great. Had a 3 course meal in the restaurant as part of our deal in the evening and it was excellent our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable, the room for the night was very spacious and clean a few wee fixtures in the bathroom could have been seen too but that's being ultra fussy, breakfast in the morning was your usual self-service type buffet and the serving staff where very pleasant (bringing tea, coffee and poached eggs/ fried eggs not in the buffet section) overall it was a nice wee break would highly recommend to any golf addicts or otherwise, will be back again!

Had a great day for celina and barrys wedding lovely food staff where great the girl cleaning the rooms was so nice too and breakfast staff where really so good we only made it for breakfast in time and the girls looked after us very well there was no rush even offered us more tea and coffee even though they were trying to finish up thanks so much would defintly recommend (paula and tom)

Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful surroundings. Nicely cut off from the hustle bustle but still within close distance to the town if needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great view of the 18th hole from the restaurant. I would recommend staying here.

We had our wedding at the hotel and have stayed there a few times. Exceptional in every way. Our wedding meal was so amazing … the staff are also the best to deal with. Highly recommend as a wedding venue.

Good if you like golf. We went for the lakes and they weren't visible from the grounds. Reception gave us the key to a room that was still occupied… thankfully no one was getting changed at the time… their only compensation was two glasses of bubbly which we should have received anyway for booking directly…

Just amazing, I stayed here for a wedding me and my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it all staff did everything they could to help.

If you want to be woken at 3am by the sound of staff smashing bottles into a metal bottle-bank there really is nowhere better to stay. Likewise if you want a 6.55am early call courtesy of a lorry with crane which is lifting said bottle bank upside down and emptying it, Tulfarris is world class. if you should decide to take a walk behind the wedding reception area in Tulfarris (to see where those bottle banks are), do be prepared to decide to never return to the place. If it is a risk you are prepared to take we recommend you taper your trousers inside your socks as you will find rats running around the garbage which is piled high. On the plus side the hotel (and its bottle bank) is in a beautiful part of the world and could become a fine leisure resort one day.

I spent a wonderful easter weekend at tulfarris with my wife and family everything from food drink and entertainment staff and service was outstanding asta la vista we will be back for sure Dermot Fitzsimons.

I stayed in Tulfarris hotel with my husband on Monday night 28th of March. We had an amazing experience. The staff, room, food and service was fantastic. We had a really nice relaxing time. We played two rounds of golf which was thoroughly enjoyable. I do have to mention 1 staff member Neal he was at Reception and also I spoke to him on the phone. He is very professional and has a brilliant manor with guests not only us but with all guests. You leave reception with a smile on you face. He is so kind and explains everything so well. The hotel is lucky to have such a wonderful employee on the team at Tulfarris. Thank you Neal and to all the staff at the hotel. We are planning a return visit. Stayed for a wedding. Stunning place, helpful staff, great food and rooms were so incredibly spacious for the price. Well recommended.

Excellent return visit! Got a free upgrade as we had stayed before! Not disappointed with suite, it was lovely!

Staff nice, rooms were ok, boiling hot and no controll over water in the shower, dinner to slow at wedding and raw beef being served up.

We recently visited for a wedding of a family member. great venue and first class service. We were keen to try the golf course so booked an overnight with golf. was a great day/ lovely picturesque course. Hired a cart and was a fun day on a great course. will we stay again most certainly. terry coleman/dublin.

We were a group of 11 men having a 2 day golf break, We very much enjoyed everything about Tulfarris, The helpful and friendly staff was much appreciated. The golf course is excellent, however a little more sand in the greenside bunkers would make the course suberb. We will definitely be back.
