Review of Trim Castle Hotel 4*

We had the most amazing wedding on the 2nd of Dec 22 and I cannot recomend Trim Castle Hotel enough. From the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted to have our wedding reception here. We had to spend so much time away from home during covid that we wanted to come back to my home town of Trim to celebrate our wedding surrounded by family and friends. At that very first appt, I knew from the minute I met Geraldine that we would get on and she was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding coordinator. I honestly looked forward to every wedding catch up like it was lunch with a friend much to Michaels dissmay (she was always on my side! ) She had our day planned down to the smallest detail, came to the church to open the doors for me and my bridal party and didn't bat an eyelid when I was 30 mins late! She was on hand when I needed an emergency wipe for my dress, 5 mins for some fresh air and constantly checked on me over the weekend even when she was off. Joe and Julie also deserve a special mention as our day just wouldn't have been what it was without them. Joe kept us right once we arrived at the hotel ensuring pics were taken, guests were being greeted, drinks were flowing and we were happy at all times. A master MC and an absolute gentleman. Julie accompanied Geraldine to the church and she did a great job looking after all of us at the top table for the rest of the day. She is an absolute star and a credit to the team. When I say they go above and beyond, I mean it! They never panicked or looked alarmed when I would let them know I had booked yet another supplier and even when I changed plans 3 days out, took it all in their stride with a knowing laugh and the phrase that I was so used to hearing — no problem! I was blown away with my wedding day. The room looked AMAZING, the food was amazing, the service was amazing and my guests have been raving about it since. We are so sad it's all over and we would give anything to do it all again, we literally had the best time. An amazing wedding venue but with the most fantastic team. I have truly loved embarking on this journey with you all and I cannot wait to share my pics with you once I get them back.
