Great hotel great staff beautiful Carvery, very pleased to see Theresa back in the hotel you have been dearly missed, she really takes the best care of us when ever we are there, amazing personality and very friendly nothing is ever a problem, just in her passing too took the time out to stop and greet us with a big smile and hello 😍

Food is fab, the staff are lovely here.

Great venue. Only negative not enough bar staff for bingo loco. 1 girl was brilliant tho think her names tess a girl with red hair. Friendly and fast.

We have stayed there loads of times. Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff could possibly do with a little help or training in bar work as there were 5 behind the bar and none of them knew what was going on. Between give out the wrong drinks and not knowing simple drinks like bottles of west coast coolers and people standing for 5 +mins waiting for someone to take the orders, it wasnt busy in the bar but definitely needed someone who knew what they were doing. Also the breakfast wasn't great, the bread was stale and the hot breakfast was freezing and the rashers and sausages looked liked boiled. Rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable.

Well designed, high standard with very friendly staff hotel. Rooms well maintained, extremely clean and Rituals cosmetics in a bathroom were great. Really nice view from the window. We enjoyed our stay a lot, lovely surprise for our anniversary ❤️ and a dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Top floor restaurant breakfast was amazing. We will come back again soon👌

Its a nice hotel to stay in and staff are usually nice, have stayed a few times before. Called last night to try use a voucher I had to book a room and was told they would be taking a €250 cash deposit, given back in the morning. which is just craziness. This must be a new policy because I wasnt asked for any deposit the previous times I stayed. Wont be staying again if thats the case.

Staff friendly and accommodating food was great and thats only in an hour.

Really nice place to relax for the weekend. First time visiting. Staff were very friendly at front desk. Food was really good. I had some kind of special where dinner and breakfast was included. Best deal ever! Also gave me a free upgrade too. Talk about customer service! Lol. Clean and comfortable room. Definitely visiting again. Good times, great vibe, cocktails strong :)

At a wedding last February and we stayed overnight in the plaza. Fabulous hotel. Huge rooms. Loved the nespresso machine. The staff were really nice. The best bit was the restaurant where we had break. What an amazing view. Would love to get back again some time.

Good location and nice rooms but check-in and breakfast service were slow. Shown to a table that hadn't even been cleared and cleaned. I ended up giving the table a quick sweep with a napkin but still had to ask several times for cups, cutlery etc and no wiping of the crumbs/ dirty table before we ate.

I won a Facebook competition for my family to stay in the crowne plaza for 2 nights b+b, as well as funtasia and tayto tickets. From start to finish we had an amazing time. The room was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff were warm and friendly. Thank you crowne plaza for giving us a fantastic break. We will 100% be back.

What can I say, Only one of the best Hotels we have stayed in. The staff on arrival "Michelle and Brendan" were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and very spacious. The rooms were very quite for our little boy sleeping routine too. The Dinner in the Rooftop Restaurant was Absolutely Amazing complements to the Chef. The room service was fast and food just as good. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to others. Its perfect for all ages. A very big thank you to Brendan and Michelle again for all your hard work in keeping such high standards. Will definitely be back soon.

Had my sons communion on the 18th of May in the roof top restaurant. Every other table had their cake beside them, ours was left in the kitchen. The goats cheese starter was ordered and the tart itself was black and a struggle was had to cut it. Roast beef was passed off as lamb and the waitress got snappy when I myself pointed out I had tried it and it was roast beef… My son didn't receive a card for his communion or didn't even get to eat free even though there was nearly 30 of us there at 27 a head for an adult and 11 for a child. Id quicker get a take away than go back near use for food… Highly disappointed my son received nothing for his day after the money we paid for the meal…

Had a great stay recently. The hotel is clean and has a good atmosphere. Brendan on the reception is really friendly and efficient.

I won a competition on LMFM and couldn't have been more pleased. Restaurant is amazing here and in a fab location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous views lovely rooms. Only thing I'd say was bar was really bright at night. So we brought drinks to room. Thank you.

Stayed overnight on 15/09/18 and no complaints whatsoever. Friendly & helpful staff, lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed… had a great nights sleep and to finish off a perfect stay, we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Everything is spot on in this place. The young woman who checked us is yesterday was amazing and fun to interact with, and also shared in our good humor when we didn't know about the using the card for the lights thing. The room was nice and it was clean. The food and staff were excellent at the restaurant, and went out of their way to correct an issue with the wrong drinks on the bill. The gentleman at the desk went in the back to retrieve coffee for us at 5AM so we could go out prepared to interact with the world.

Stayed the night here, as we were attending a wedding in Bellingham Castle. Rooms nice and clean and cosy. Staff on reception were very friendly. Hotel itself is very basic but fine for an overnight stay.

Madras curry served in a bowl and VERY liquid, no spoon. Restaurant not open, only bar area. Few staff (mostly trainees) to cope with business groups wanting long tables, ditto families entertaining successful Leaving Cert students. Although it is close to where we live we won't bother returning to Crown Plaza this Sumner!

Fantastic hotel that goes the extra mile. We got an amazing deal that included racing at Dundalk, BB and three course dinner. The food was devine in the beautiful roof top restaurant and the staff were superb. Can't wait to return.

Lovely hotel, staff we very welcoming and nothing seems to much trouble for them. Room was good and very comfortable bed. Free Wi-Fi Breakfast. Was really good, great views and again service was very good. Cab from the station is about 7 Euro.

Good spot for carvery during the week. Rooftop restaurant is definitely worth going to. Food is out of this world and you nearly there with it being on the 13th floor. Stunning views.

A little on the expensive side for the average person, target is definitely business customers. This was booked as the last night of our visit to Northern Ireland as a treat from the usual 2 star hotels. Service was good generally, we had dinner in the bar. Good range of food at reasonable prices and tasty. Meal for 4 was less than €60 including drinks. Rooms were excellent, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and service likewise. Only downside was being overcharged at check-out, this was due we think to an IT issue when we checked in. Fortunately we had our email confirmation printed out and a refund was sorted out.

Got transported here from the airport because my flight was cancelled due to Storm Emma. Each and every one of the staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. The rooms are very nice and comfy. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Dundalk!

This is the second time I've stayed here and it's been amazing. Lovely rooms. I had the suite this time which to my joy had a bath and a massive shower. Rooms are always lovely and clean. Breakfast is great and is a buffet style although you'll have to wait if you want a fried egg. Roof top restaurant is great. Everyone is so friendly and always happy to help. Has a large free car park which is another plus. Will definitely stay again.

I have been here a couple of times now and have always been pleasantly surprised at how effective the staff run this establishment. The hotel and all of its facilities are kept clean and presentable at all times. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have come across. I would most definitely recommend this venues to all of my friends and family for any event they may have.

I only visited the bar and the roof top restaurant. Both were excellent, but the Roof Top restaurant was exceptional! Some of the best food I have had anywhere. The selection of food available was excellent, and the service matched the quality of the food. I have no hesitation going back, or indeed recommending it.

We had a sea view room on 10th floor, even it was a foggy day, the view was still amazing. The roof top restaurant was amazing, food was really delicious and well made. Really good service, recommended!

Good location as it's just a few minutes off the motorway. Free parking and some nice amenities make it a step above the rest. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were on par with what I expected at this price. Overall would recommend and will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

It's a great hotel. We held my daughter's wedding last Dec. 27, 2017. It was perfect. Staffs are so helpful. Rooms are nice with 2 queen size bed. Parking is free. I can highly recommend it.

All well. Room had a bathtub also. One thing that maybe could be improved was the light built into the bed. It seemed a bit too cold and white for my taste at least, and too sharp/glaring.

Very helpful staff. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Bar menu had a good selection but monogamy dishes have warnings for peanut allergies.

Our room was comfortable and clean with a great view. There was a Nespresso coffee maker in the room! The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Just had my wedding here and it was faultless, the day and evening were perfect staff couldn’t do enough which made it extra special would definitely recommend to any one looking a venue… 20 out of 10 even more if that’s possible… thank you so much.

Lovely lobby, bedroom and general area. Breakfast was nice but there was a limited variety of food. Perfect for an overnight stay for a wedding in a local hotel.

Nice big room bathroom had bath and separate shower but sink plug would stick and we could not let the water out. Reasonable price too.

Modern hotel with updated fixtures. Room is large and well appointed. Bathroom has separate bathtub and standing shower. Upscale restaurant with good (but pricey) food. Nice hotel to spend the night if you are driving from Dublin to Belfast.

Absolutely appalling. Wrong starter delivered was told it would be taken off bill, it wasn't. Asked for well done steak, 1 half was well done, the other half could have walked off the plate into the nearest field for grazing. Table obviously hadn't been cleaned properly and I got grease all over my top when I leaned across the table. Definitely won't be back. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. This review is for the 14 below restaurant.

As you would expect, everything is taken care of for you. Polite staff, wonderfull breakfast, nice lounge bar, spa. The only downturn is that it's bit far from towncenter. But if I ever visit Dundalk, I am staying here. Best hotel in town!

Its always the small things that make a difference and this hotel is def full of these little extras! Stayed on 12th floor after a complimentary upgrade. Arrived to spotless room with chocolates, aromatherapy oils and bottled water. Just lovely! Staff were more than friendly and the breakfast was a banquet fit for a king! We were so pleasantly surprised by the standards in the hoteland will definitely be back! Thank you for such great service!

Very comfortable stay, staff welcoming. Reason for only 3 star I found though plenty of variety for breakfast the quality was very poor, fatty bacon, horrible tasting scrambled eggs and husband had to wait for fried egg the rest of his breakfast was cool. Having stayed in two different places during that week the breakfast was no good. Fire alarm which apparently was a fault but had to ring reception to see if it was real as it went of the on again. The alarm was very clear so think hotel would also have an announcement stating false alarm don't need to run downstairs in your nightwear! Apparently happens on regular basis. But positive was very clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom clean and good cuppa facilities the room was lovely. I would stay again but go else where for breakfast.

Some staff are pleasant, others not at all. I've walked in as a young adult several times to meet family for lunch and been glared at by reception staff which isn't very welcoming! Everyone is supposed to be welcome to eat in the hotel. Food is nice but pricey. 0 vegan options so I'm usually stuck with vegetarian ones. I recommend the Thai Green Curry. I never stayed in the hotel so that's all I can say.

Stayed for 1 night with my 2kids and the service was next to nothing… From check in to staff in the bar to breakfast in the morning to check out in the morning. Upgraded to the 10th floor… Views are great The food was lovely and kids well catered for. Cosy surroundings with a patio area outside. Bedrooms are spacious and cosy beds. Def be back again.

Was here for a meeting in the conference centre. Very well laid out location. Service for food in the ground floor bar was very fast.

A decent hotel. Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. Stunning views from restaurant on top floor.

Nice clean hotel however service was awful. Firstly man on reception found great difficulty in finding my name for booking. When found offered no apology. Then went on to tell us that breakfast was served 8.30 — 11. Myself and my partner went to the ground floor at 10.15 next morning expecting breakfast only to be told that breakfast was over, and was actually served on 13th floor! No apology offered once again or alternative proposed. Would not stay here again!

Stayed here for just 1 night and was very impressed with the facilities and especially the food. I highly recommend the burger from the Bar and it's well worth getting up for the great breakfast.

Just back from a race and stay weekend at Crowne Plaza Dundalk with my husband, and friend and her husband, and would like to comment, we had a fantastic time, food excellant, staff are first class and would recommend this hotel to all, only downfall was no hairdryer, but I got over it as everthing else first class, hope to return in future ☺

Interesting, modern interior design in hotel rooms, delicious food and picturesque view in the restaurant.

Never had an issue here, been here for Christenings, weddings, parties, MMA fight nights, always a great place. Friendly staff, good prices for beverages etc.

Fab hotel really helpful and friendly staff especially reception staff love staying there well done.

Great place for conferences, really look after delegates.
