Had one of the cheapest and nicest cappuccinos in Dublin here last week only €2.50. It even came with a biscuit. Drank it in their sunny outside seating area. Bliss.

Staff are super friendly. I attended the Irish House Party — fantastic evening — fab food followed by a wonderful evening of traditional music, song & dance. Highly recommend it!

We stayed here last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helped with reccommendations of things to do while we were visiting we would have missed otherwise. Would absolutely love to come back again!

Have only beer here for pre/post match drinks. The atmosphere is great. BBQ and bars outside in the car park with the main bar open too if you prefer to stand inside. Staff are always friendly. A good meeting spot before heading to the Aviva or off to town.

While it could do with a little modernisation, it is otherwise quite good. The staff are great, as is the food, and no issue with noise. On-site parking is available for free. While it is not exactly central, it is not an overly long walk to more central destinations either.

We found the hotel and staff to be wonderful! Though the restaurant doesn't have a large menu, the food is great and the wait-staff is warm and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were small, but clean. Front desk was very accommodating throughout the stay and friendly. Shower pressure and temperature is great, and love that it isn't a curtain. Parking isn't included and is pretty expensive for not that primo of a spot, so factor in an extra $13 /day. About a 30 min walk to Dublin center, but there are lots of pubs and cafes closer as well. TV is super small and really only there for show, but who cares to watch TV when on vacation.

2-Star level. Very small room. Basic Seb. Second floor without lift basic breakfast but kindness of the waitress.

Awesome! We did the dinner & show with The Irish House Party. The food was wonderful… I recommend the leeks and brie parcel. The vegetable soup was wonderful as well. After the meal, you go downstairs to the theater for the show. It is Irish music, dancing, humor and education. Totally worth it! Pay attention to the uilleann pipes.

Rooms are basic but the hotel has a great traditional atmosphere and the food was amazing. The bar downstairs is really good in the evenings.

Good service and decent food here. Same here with a tour group and had a 3 course meal. The chicken was a bit dry, but other than that the rest of the food was good.

They had an outdoor bar setup to raise money for a charity, was a good cause, definitely enjoyed it.

Great place to stay. Reminiscent of the Georgian era in which it was built but with most modern conveniences, however there is no lift so upper rooms require stair climbing. Friendly, helpful staff to make your stay enjoyable. I would stay there again. The "Irish House Party" in the same building is one thing I would recommend you do while staying at the Lansdowne Hotel.

Went for a hen doo and st Patrick’s day. Staff so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms a bit chilly but it was probably the coldest weekend of the year! Would definitely stay here again. Thank You x.

An Irish House party was held in this hotel on the day of my visit, or the reason for visiting it. Consists of a three-course menu and subsequent live music. The food was also unsuitable for vegetarians, the show was very entertaining.

At the cheaper end of the scale for Dublin. Clean warm and tidy. Comfortable room. Quiet, no noise in my room from pub below and set back from street. TV very small but that's picking holes. Fine if you want a cheap clean room for a night or two.

Great venue with a large bar area and plenty of TVs to watch sport. Also lots of seats so you can relax.

It has a nice bar Good drinks. Rooms are a bit small and ours smells a little weird, otherwise nice place.

The Lansdowne was definitely a treat. After staying in 5 different hotels during our stay in Ireland, the Lansdowne was probably our favorite. The rooms and the bathrooms were small and the bright green lights outside of the giant windows were a little distracting at night, but the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms well kept, and the restaurant on the ground floor had amazing food for very decent prices. Not only that, but the staff constantly went out of their way to help us, including helping us understand the buses, getting a continental breakfast ready for us alone due to a very early flight, calling transportation for us, etc. Would definitely stay there again.

The stay overall was very pleasant, nice rooms and excellent location. However the our breakfast experience was rather spoiled by the staff member who was rather rude and felt the need to engage myself and my boyfriend in conversation from a cross the room.
A number of times she asked us personal questions about how we met and where we were from.
to top it off she informed us that our breakfast was not included in the price of our room. We offered to show her our booking details but she insisted we accompany her to reception where she discussed our booking with the receptionist. We had in fact booked the breakfast included.
we feel this incident was extremely embarrassing to us both as we were frog marched out of the dining room in front of other guest to ultimately 've proven right.
I would still recommend the hotel to friends but the breakfast experience did leave a rather sour taste on the stay.

The staff were very cordial (Simone, is the only name I remember, but the breakfast lady, and bar manager were fun… great guys at the front desk) and professional. Location was great for walking almost anywhere. Thanks guys. You represented Dublin, well.

The bar was excellent but the service downstairs in the banquet room was lacking.

The hotel is very good, great location, lots of food and drink choices about. Rooms a bit dated but good for the price and location. Limited parking outside and although we had a space we were told we couldn't park in it and had to use street parking, street parking is ok and close by bit the parking is on first come first served so we were very disappointed to be refused a space, the only thing that let the place down really.

It was a flying 24 hour visit so we didn't actually spend much time in the hotel — but liked the place and no complaints at all.
Room was lovely — clean and tidy — and bed was very comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful — would definately come back hopefully for a longer more relaxed visit and sample the restaurant and bar areas.

Nice hotel a 15 minute walk from the center of Dublin! You're in the right place. The breakfast was very good.

Why is this place still open? Only redeeming feature is the location. Only one member of the morning staff made any effort, the rest were sullen. Gut it and start again.

A very pleasant hotel with a nice basement bar and a terrace out front, set back from a fairly busy but tree-lined street. Bedrooms were fairly average (I had a colleague staying in another room) but perfectly good for the price. The staff were excellent.

The worst Hotel I've ever stayed in. Stayed in bedroom 109 with a TV that didn't work a toilet door that locked you in a sink and shower that had more rust on then a set of old nails and iron bar across my windows. Surely this is a fire safety issue. Didn't feel safe at all and couldn't wait to return home. Just was so pleased that I was only there for the 1 night.

I was staying two weeks. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Both the food from the bar and the waiters are excellent. He would return and recommend it.

It was quite clean. The single rooms itself are a little bit small and the television is definitively outdated, but we haven't been there to watch TV :) The Hotel itself was quite good located to reach the city centre within minutes :)

Old hotel, all wood. The footprints throughout the hotel, hard to hear rest. Antique furniture and not to mention all carpeted, thing is I very creepy.
The location is not bad, about two kilometers from Temple Bar. People who attended us were very kind. The breakfast is abundant and economical, a choice of Continental or Irish. It has a small parking lot that always seems to be busy, parking in the area is payment.

My mother and father stayed at this "hotel" during a visit to Dublin. In the morning they ate their small breakfast and paid. When then returned to collect the bags they were confronted at reception and told that they had failed to pay for the big breakfast. My mother politely explained that they hadn't had the big breakfast and had paid the correct sum. The hotel then phoned the waitress at home who was adamant that my folks were lying. The hotel then decided to get the CCTV footage out — we are talking a few quid here. The video proved my mum and dads innocence — they had only had the small breakfast afterall. I'm really pleased my mum and dad stood their ground. Do not stay at this shambles.
