I stayed here one night for a business trip and it was definitely not my last stay. Simple but clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice helpful staff… There is nothing to criticise.

It was a last minute dinner plans for my mother in laws birthday and all I can do is praise the staff. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. The staff made a little birthday treat for her and came out and sang happy birthday she was over the moon. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my Fiance booked the weather County Hotel and have to say it may look dated on out side but on inside the building is so warm and inviting the staff ate absolutely 💯 outstanding the honestly can't do enough for so friendly and food is amazing would definitely recommend it and will definitely be staying again so to all staff well done on having such an amazing warm Atmosphere.

Had my wedding here on 31/7/21. What a fantastic day myself and Emma had! All the staff from the reception staff to the waiting staff were brilliant and the food was amazing! Thanks for making our day so special Would highly recommend.

Went down today for our Sunday lunch have to say it was beautiful and well done to all the staff doing a great job and noreen fare play as always so welcoming ❤️❤️

Went for our first meal out since the covid restrictions. As always the food was superb. Excellent service and made feel same the whole time. Bar or restaurant, the West County Hotel never disappoints on food.

Amazing people, so warm, friendly and attentive! Breakfast is delicious and so is the food from the restaurant. The rooms are spacey and comfortable with everything you need in them. Thank you!

Stayed here twice now through work, absolutely nothing to complain about, €89.00 a night, quiet location on outskirts of the city, fantastic staff and don’t let the breakfast deceive you,, looks minimal when it comes out but it’s more than enough, I can eat a lot and I struggle to eat it all, continental breakfast also available, clean rooms, lovely en-suite rooms, hope to be back again very soon,,,, (the best hotel that work have ever supplied me with) 5stars all the way! LOVE IT HERE,,, (even the teapot has its own sheet) ❤️❤️

Clean and comfortable room, a little outdated (but how much time are you staying in your hotel room), extremely friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice bar and restaurant, moderately priced, very quiet neighborhood, easy to get to if you're driving (not far from the M50) and there is a bus line right out front that goes right to O'Connell Street or some of the quaint little pubs along the River Liffey before you get to downtown Dublin. Definitely will stay there again when we go back to Dublin.

We stayed over the summer in August! The breakfasts (included) were wonderful as was the staff. I loved how easy it was to take the bus in to Dublin! I would definitely consider staying here again! Thanks West County Hotel for a wonderful time!

Never again we all send back our dinner because it was cold… Like if we want cold food we would have ordered the salad it's not the 1st time that happened so I honestly think that the West County Hotel needs to up their game…

Carvery is excellent. Went there today for lunch and a great selection of food. Reasonably priced and good service. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit here again.

I'm so disappointed in the West County Hotel by their Service for the afters of my nephews funeral on Monday afternoon. As upsetting the day was we were greeted by Noreen on Reception who, in my opinion, has no business being in Customer Service as she had a face on her like a wet weekend. We had pre organised sandwiches and tea for 50 people at a certain amount per head. On settleing the bill it was a good €200 more than what was agreed. When this was queried Noreen said she put on more sandwiches which wasn't requested by the family. She just took it upon herself to do so. When other members of the funeral party ordered hot food later on, I overheard Noreen giving two young lounge girls a dressing down for not taking payment for this food immediately. Did Noreen think we were going to rob you blind? She was unprofessional, rude and most unhelpful. If there was an option to leave no stars I would.

Offers bad beds and a revolting breakfast in a remote location. Do not cheap out on your accomodation in Dublin or there will be a good chance that you will end up in this shack. "Sojourned" in February.

Very Nice, fantastic power shower with head and lead (not fixed) I had a stonebaked chicken Cajun pizza for dinner very nice, rooms are big clean and warming. Staff are very friendly and helpful, had everything I needed. Including iron and board. Plugs by bedside unlike other hotels which is important to me as I like to use my phone in bed while it's on charge. Would gladly return here and recommend to anyone. Had a great night sleep in a comfy bed as well.

Brilliant hotel, very cost rooms, excellent bar food, very tasty breakfast and not forgetting the friendly staff, very easy to get into the City center which is only a15 minute bus ride from outside the hotel? Certainly WILL be staying here again.

Very convenient good value well established hotel with very knowledgeable staff. Located in Chapelizod west Dublin many buses to Dublin CIty Centre stop outside. Large bar with extensive menu and restaurant on site this is very good value. This is a quiet hotel with well appointed rooms not suitable for a stag or hen party a more business friendly hotel used by many coach tour parties.

We celebrated my daughters communion in the restaurant yesterday, the food was really tasty, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here at the weekend for our anniversary, would definitely recommend, staff are lovely, food is good and rooms are brilliant.

I have gone here on a number of occasions both to eat in the restaurant and the bar and I am never disappointed. The staff are very helpful and the food is excellent. Have not stayed in the hotel but would highly recommend for a get together as you wont find anywhere as good for food.

Needs a good lick of paint and to be brought to life. Very run down looking and unappealing from the outside. It made me go off going inside.

Sometimes go in here at about 5 o clock when its not too busy. Love the view from the large windows facing the Liffey Valley. Nice relaxed atmosphere for a family Sunday dinner. Lots of snug areas and different seating styles to choose from. Big screens forvthe footie fans but plenty of quieter areas for us non sporty types. Bar food and restaurant fare depending on choice all at very good prices leaving loads of leeway to tip the normally friendly staff. Thats probably Ive been going to the West County for as long as I can remember.

Great local friendly vibe to this hotel. Rooms are comfy and modern. Excellent food with a wide choice. Bus service to Dublin centre right by the hotel.

Went for a meal food was nice but room needs decorating. Not very festive, there was a small tree; no table decorations or crackers. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Very old fashion place but does lovely lunches.

Looks a bit old and run down from outside but nice and clean inside, although a little bit dated. The room was clean and exactly what you'd expect. The bathroom was modern with a shower cubicle. The staff were friendly and helpful always said 'Hi' when you walked past. They were more than happy to help with everything including booking taxis. The bar was ok and served a selection of beers, ales and ciders. I had the full Irish breakfast in the morning, which was very nice. There was fruit juices, yoghurt and pastries available as well. I only stayed for 1 night but would stay again. During the day a taxi cost about €15 to get to the centre of Dublin and about €40 to get to the airport. There is a bus stop directly outside which goes into the centre but I didn't use it so can't say how frequent they arrive.

A great place to stay not too fsr from dublin city centre. No rooms ideal for a wheelchair user however disabled facilitiea are available… breakfast ok but not great. No beans.

Was once a very frequent visitor. Every Sunday and sometimes during the week. But plates got smaller which meant portions got smaller. But price stayed the same. Only go in now if we are passing.

We had our wedding reception on Friday 14th July I cannot thank Noreen, Ash and all the lovely staff for such an amazing day the food was fab the room was decorated beautifully I would highly recommend The West County Hotel and all their fantastic staff.

Is what it is and does what it should for the price. A better effort at the breakfast table would help.

I've been eating lunch/carvery here since the early 80's and it's still warm & welcoming today as it was back then.

Convenient bus service into Dublin. Very comfortable. Staff helpful. Secure bike storage. Phoenix Park close by.

I stayed in the hotel Friday night. Last because I was babysitting for my brother accross the road there were other people staying so no room for me.
As most of the people that did there reviews I would be the same.
Lovely cosy hotel. Bed so cofy. Fast check in.
Don't know about all the rooms but I was 202 and there seem to ne new shower and things put in.
I thought at first no soap ect but its in a bottle on the wall.
Great idea.
So much waste in those little bottles.
All hotels should go that way.
Breakfast. Lovely and fresh only thing a choice of more cereal.
Also maybe a small gym with say 2 excerise machine s.
Also bar service a bit slow.

Stayed here on 3rd of march, while trying to relax at bar had the pleasure of watching staff fighting and moaning at each other, in this day and age please dont do in front of paying guests,

Looks very dated but we had a very pleasant two night stay. Slightly out of town but means it's a quieter area, and only a short bus ride in to the city centre (have correct change ready for the bus). The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, not so great the first morning but really nice the second day. The restaurant within the hotel was really nice for our evening meal.

Stayed for 5 mouths working in town came back to a warm welcome each night.
