Just back from a fantastic overnight stay in Seven Horsehoes. Couldn’t fault anything about this place — fantastic food, accommodation and atmosphere. Francis and all your staff, thank you so much for all your hospitality! 😊

5star staff warm welcoming friendly so accommodating. Catherine and young team where amazing. Fergus the owner to was top class. Food was superb. Made my sons holy communion extra special thankyou all.

Food is next to none. Just delicious. Staff are more than friendly. No delay in getting served. I would highly recommend the seven Horseshoes.

Just had a meal here with my partner on our 2 days away. We were told to call here for dinner and we did! It was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef of the 14/01/20 also the staff were brilliant especially Bernie, she was superb and very kind. Defiantly be back here again! Until next time.

Stopped here on Sunday on way home from croker for our dinner. There was a bus load of us. Couldnt fault a thing from the meal to the staff. Fantastic food and service will defo be back.

The young girl serving was extremely helpful, polite and nothing too much trouble. She is their best asset. It has a nice atmosphere of rest, but the food is sorely lacking. Or maybe that was just because it was an off day. Oh, and my latte came served in Irish coffee glass…?

I was really surprised at the cleanliness and good condition of the bedrooms at The Seven Horseshoes. Not what I have come to expect from most hotels in Ireland — no matter if they're 5 star or local village hotels such as this. Beds were comfortable and hotel was very quiet even though it's on the main street where there was plenty of partying going on over the bank holiday weekend. The rooms are to the rear and nothing could be heard either from outside or from the bar downstairs. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was full Irish. Coffee was decent. €95 for a family room — bed and breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child — was very good value. We didn't have dinner there but there was a very brisk trade going on in the bar and restaurant. Seems like a very popular spot.

Rooms are nice for price, always helpful of a funeral.

Lovely place for a bite to eat and/or something to drink. It has a nice ambience with a natural warmth from the place itself and the staff. Lovely food, and an open fire to boot.

Amazing standard of food, great choice on menu something to suit everyone and exceptional service for our group of 15. I have never been disappointed with food here. Can't believe it has been in Cahill ownership for almost 40 years. Well worth my 180 mile return journey from Ballyclare Co Antrim.

Had Sunday lunch here today. As soon as we walked in the door a member of staff came straight over to get us a table and the menu. The fire was lit making for a warm, cosy, dining experience with lots of friendly attentive staff on hand, nothing was too much bother for them. My husband had the lamb and my daughter and I had the duck and we have to say it was one of the most enjoyable meals we've eaten in a long time, in fact we were so full we didn't have room for dessert only coffee. Also the toilets are spotless. We give the Seven Horseshoes 10 out of 10 and are looking forward to our next visit.

This place never disappoints went last night place was so busy we hadn't booked but they still fitted us in service excellent and food is to die for recommend this place to anyone I actually travel from Florencecourt to go here and the owner Francis is just so humble don't think they realise how good this place is :) )
