We attended my sisters wedding on Friday Sept 2nd in the Ocean Sands and stayed in the apartments for 3 nights. Couldn’t recommend the hotel more. All the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Apartment was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Food and service at the wedding was perfect. Well done Ocean sands, keep up the great work.

We had a family wedding at the weekend, the staff and management went above and beyond to ensure it was the perfect day. Special thanks to Olivia and Amy, you were fantastic x.

Just enjoyed a beautiful Afternoon Tea with my friend from Belgium in this beautiful hotel. Tea was served In a beautiful side room from the bar with a beautiful sea view. Served beautifully with lovely China cups and a delicious selection of treats by lovely helpful friendly staff. A lovely treat that I have no hesitation to recommend. (I had already eaten two from top plate before photo😊)

We had a lovely day yesterday. A very relaxing time in the gorgeous spa followed by a beautiful 9 course taster menu dinner. All staff were so friendly and helpful ❤️ We even had a chat with the chef! Thanks for a great day 😃

We just had our wedding at Ocean Sands. It’s a beautiful hotel right on the beach. Amy the wedding coordinator was a pleasure to talk to and organise things. Even up to the day before we had some last minute changes and nothing was too much for her! Everyone has commented on how great the location was and how beautifully the room was decorated! And people especially loved the food served! We have no complaints what so ever. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with beach access. The family room we stayed in was lovely and big with a great view of the beach! The food was absolutely delicious we ate both nights and really enjoyed it. This is also a pet friendly hotel which was lovely to see. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back again to stay.

Was in Enniscrone today with my daughter for a while. Decided it was time to eat so popped into the hotel for some grub. Food was amazing, staff really well presented and friendly. Very polite and courteous, and will go out of their way to assist with your requirements. Overall the hotel is well clean, fantastic value for money and love the atmosphere when you in it. Amazing views of the sea and beyond. Keep up the great work everyone. Definitely will be returning in the future. And it only 35 mins from us here in Tubberurry. Thanks everyone for the lovely food and great customer service. Definitely worth more than 5 stars on reviews.

We were guests at Caroline’s & Lukes — wedding yesterday — a fabulous day & we were very impressed by the whole set up in the ocean sands — great ambiance — the dining area was beautifully laid out & the food was excellent — great attention to detail & the staff were fabulous & no request was too big an ask! Great dance floor as the band kept us on it all night! Overall as a wedding guest it was a lovely experience & such a lovely venue & people — thanks guys!

The best hotel. We had our wedding there and the staff were out on there own. Nothing was a bother they were so accomadating nd helpful. A special word of tks to Jeff, Olivia nd Amy for a fantastic service. So many laughs and just being brilliant. Yee made our day so so special. I would highly recommend. We, ll be back 😊😊

Love the views, staff friendly. Have been going for years a must be when I in Mayo. Food good but menu and choice a bit dated same things all the time, a few speacails or tweets would be good.

Fantastic pet friendly hotel. Stayed recently with our two small dogs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms with easy out door access for the dogs. Had dinner both nights of our stay, menu had lots of choice, food was very tasty and good size portions at a very reasonable price. Great cocktail menu also. Perfect location overlooking the beach.

Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe the beauty and elegance of this afternoon tea it topped expectations I didn’t even know I had. Coffee was flowing the scones were still warm and everything was sinfully delicious. The view was breath taking and the staff were so helpful friendly and welcoming.

We had our special day on October 23rd 2020 in the Ocean Sands Hotel after postponing from April due to covid 19. From the first day we walked into the hotel we were greeted with the warmest of welcome from Olivia all the staff. Olivia was fantastic from start to finish with helping us organise our wedding reception, nothing was too much hassle or trouble for Olivia as she went above and beyond for us. We were a little apprehensive of how the big function room would look because of the huge reduction in wedding guests as we originally had a big wedding planned but we didn't need to worry because it was absolutely beautiful including the cosy area to relax. Our wedding dinner was superb and the hospitality was top class. We could not recommend the Ocean sands highly enough to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. Tracey and Andy. X.

We recently got married here and I genuinely cannot reccomend it enough. Everything was perfect for us and Oliva is worth her weight in gold. We a last minute change of venue I contacted Olivia in a blind panic to see if she could help is, which she did. From that moment on she looked after is so well. We will never be able to thank her enough for making our day so special for us. Every single staff member was a delight from the minute we met until we left. The function room was absolutely beautiful, we had our ceramony there aswell as our reception and it was just gorgeous. I cant praise you all enough. Thank you for making our day so special.

Had a fantastic 2 night family stay recently and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, fab food from breakfast to evening meal, super location beside the beach, just fab and can’t wait to go back.

We had the best time. Hotel rooms, Dinner, breakfast, lunch and Especially the Hotel staff was just amazing. We had 4 very busy kids with us. The staff could not do enough for us.
We are from Sligo and will be staying in the ocean sands again.
You Don't need Spain when Hotels like this is on our door step. Very enjoyable night away with young busy children.

Amazing and very helpful staff.

Got married here last Friday and everything was perfect, even with the start of the coronavirus Olivia made sure all protocols were followed for our guests and her staffs safety, she still ensured everything ran smooth. It's clear that Olivia loves her job and goes above and beyond for you on your day. Cant recommend The Ocean Sands enough for your wedding. The food got so many compliments and you will not get anyone better to look after you and your guests than Olivia. 5 stars all the way from us.

Me and my boyfriend had such a lovely time at the hotel we had a lovely dinner and the are so nice and accommodating with any requests u might have it's our second time coming back to the hotel Five star's.

We had our wedding day on the 19Oct19.
This is a warm, cosy elegant Hotel with the people who work their to match. All staff are friendly and helpful. My Dad raved about the young girl serving him dinner at the top table that she had a smile from ear to ear when she came out to serve each course.
The sea view as you look out the window from your top table is beautiful as the sun starts to set over Enniscrone beach.
Olivia is a true lady an extremely hard worker her attention to detail is unreal, this made our day run so smooth. From the first day we met her she never forced her pitch to sell the Hotel she just talked to us about our options and what she could do for us and we knew she was the women for the job.
Everything was perfect from start to finish we had so many people tell us it was the nicest food they have had at wedding.
Feehilys florist decorated the ballroom for us and wow, it blew us away! This was never an issue with Olivia, actually she was probably just as excited as us to see the end result.
We loved our day at the Ocean Sands Hotel like Olivia said it's not good bye its see you soon Jane & Dom.

Celebrated our dads 80th birthday here last night, there was 30 of us all together we ate in the private room, which was perfect for our family gathering, most of us also stayed over, beautiful hotel with breathtaking views, everybody had a fabulous night and a beautiful breakfast Thankyou to the lovely friendly staff for looking after us.

I have stayed at the ocean sands for the last 3 yrs and I am looking forward to returning in April next year. Friendly staff, good food and lots of dancing.

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating two wedding anniversary’s with all the family. Beautiful meal and such friendly staff. And a special thank you to Lauren who helped to organize it for me. Fabulous place and lots to do for adults and children. ❤️❤️

Was at a wedding and it was fab great food lovley room will definitely be back again loved it so much.

First time in my life I’ve walked out of a hotel room. Car park was in the basement with an undefined height restriction meaning I couldn’t park there with my bike on the roof rack. Travel cot in room was torn badly in one bottom corner which could have been dangerous to a small child. No proper bed for our oldest daughter just a terrible sofa bed. There were no extra towels or bed sheets for four people. Tried to ring reception to request some and they didn’t answer. Everything in the room was stained in some way. Far from what I’d expect for 140 euros.

No a/c or fans and our room (120) didn't have a window that opened wider than 1/8 inch. Sink faucet splattered when turned on. Very friendly and accommodating staff though.

Food great but mix up with reservation. Second time this has happened us. Would turn me off booking again.

Very very nice hotel. Food is fabulous … located in the middle of town. I drink non-alcoholic beer and they only serve becks which is terrible stuff. Should stock a larger variety of non-alcoholic beer. That's why they are down a star.

The best hotel for a holiday. Spotlessly clean, wonderful location, delicious food, and the best staff. They go above and beyond the call of duty to help. The best prices!. I just love this place and would highly recommend it.

What an amazing hotel, it’s like home from home.
My husband and myself got married on 2 June and our reception was at the ocean sands, this hotel has no faults when it comes to weddings, they honestly could not do enough for us,
Olivia was AMAZING this lady deserves an award for what she does, even up to the morning before our wedding we had people drop out due to sickness and bereavements, and after emailing Olivia that morning, she relaxed the situation and assured …us not to worry, We are both self employed so to try and meet Olivia during the day was a no go for us, but again this was not a problem, you name the time and Olivia was there to meet you. As for the hotel, the views are spectacular, I really wanted an abroad wedding but marrying a farmer it wasn’t going to happen but this hotel made me feel just like we were away, as we ate our dinner we were looking straight out on to the beach,
All of the staff were absolutely amazing, we had one guest who was staying across the road from the hotel and her baby wasn’t settled so she left the meal with the baby, a member of staff followed with her meal to assure she got her meal, now we have been to many a wedding but I have never seen any hotel do that,
All I can say is if your thinking about this hotel for your wedding, book it cause you will not get the service or quality anywhere else Thanks to everyone in the hotel that made our day so special for us.

Had a very bad stay. Room was not cleaned while I stayed. I reported it to staff. No action taken. Half effort taken to clean. No sign of a manager. Staff need a lot of training. Will not be returning. Very disappointed in the hotel.

A great hotel with a warm friendly atmosphere. The food is outstanding and great size portions. We will be back very soon.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Olivia & all the staff in the Ocean Sands Hotel, we had our wedding here on the 17th of March 2018 and could not have been happier. The food was gorgeous, venue looked amazing & the service was unreal, could not have asked for more. The attention to detail with Olivia was second to none, she was so helpful and anything we asked for was not an issue. Olivia was so pleasant to deal with, full of ideas & always smiling which made planning our wedding so much easier. Thank you once again for an amazing day & all your effort. I would highly recommend brides & grooms to make an appointment with the Ocean Sands for your big day.

The Ocean Sands Hotel is a fantastic wedding venue. From our first meeting in the hotel, to the menu tasting to going through the finer details with our wedding coordinator Olivia we were never in any doubt that our expectations would be met but they were to be surpassed by some way! We had every confidence in The Ocean Sands leading up to our wedding that they would make our wedding reception such a special occasion and they delivered on a top class reception for us on our wedding day! The entire Ocean Sands team are just so friendly, welcoming and very professional and in preparation for our wedding reception they left no stone unturned, no question unanswered and simply made the whole build up to our wedding reception a very enjoyable and exciting experience.
The wedding banquet was just perfect for us, our guests were so impressed with the venue, the food and the service, we got so much positive feedback on the hotel from everyone who was at our wedding.
We could not recommend The Ocean Sands Hotel enough as a wedding venue to other couples. The banquet room just blew us away when we were announced into the room as the Mr & Mrs. It really was the best day ever — all we can simply say is thanks a million to The Ocean Sands Hotel! My daughter is getting married here in 2020. Olivia is the wedding coordinator and I can't praise her enough. She has great ideas and is so excited about every wedding she does. Love her.

Nice place. Central location and food is good but basic. Big plus it the views of the beach.
