Fantastic hostel. Friendly family run hostel. Rooms are spacious with great shower facilities. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 1 night as we had a family wedding nearby. Great location and would stay again.

Our stay at Valleylodge was wonderful. Mary is such a gracious host (and she makes the best homemade bread! ). Be on the lookout for signs to Facefield and Valleylodge on the road — we definitely missed it and got lost but it is worth it to stay here. The breakfast was amazing and Mary greeted us with tea upon arrival. It was a true B&B experience and I would highly recommend Valleylodge if you are staying in Co. Mayo in Ireland. Visit nearby Foxford and the Woolen Mills.

Quiet, off-road hostel. It is situated in the middle of beautiful Irish fields. The buildings themselves stay true to the countryside style. The communal areas are clean, warm and homey. There were quite a number of kids during our stay but we didn't mind. Kids are kids. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. It is very basic, so don't expect fancy. My only complaint is there were very few furniture in the rooms to put your stuff on, but we made do.

We absolutely loved our time here. Nice walks nearby and friendly hosts.

Tidy and well organized. Clean towels and comfortable beds and the landscape is beautiful. They even have a copy of The Dilbert principle in the book shelf.

Absolutely beautiful place, owners are very friendly and welcoming, we were well looked after and we got to meet the furry/ feathery residents too ;-) brilliant place for any family to visit or even just a couple :-)

Hostel is very good with friendly owner and the surrounding is beautiful. Great place for a walk or cycle.

Amazing B&B rooms are very clean and tidy. And comfortable to sleep in. Nice big sitting room and kitchen. Nice friendly owners. Self service breakfast. Would be very suitable for anyone going to knock as it's only 15mins away and very reasonable in price. 10mins from cláirmorris. Only 1hr away from croagh Patrick. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely place room was perfect after a long drive the lady was very helpful for places t visit animals on the farm for the kids.

A really pleasant place to stay; a friendly host and every attention given to detail in how you are catered for ie home made jam and a fresh brew and scones in the lounge when you arrive. The rooms are spotless and everything in perfect working order, even the 26" tv. Good place for children to as there are farm animals and birds to watch; goats chickens, geese and a donkey.

Loved Eddie's warm welcome even if we were late checking in he took time to chat with us and same at checkout time in the morning. Great lounge kitchen and accommodation spotless. We'll highly recommend it. Ideal for families or bunches of friends. Could not be better. Thanks.

Nice place to stay. You have a big kitchen, like in dormitory and a huge lobby to chill out. Clean and also for longer stays practical.
