Just home from fabulous night away in the hotel. Staff n service were perfect and owner very good company.
Food was fantastic. Only complaint we had was we ate too much n had to go to bed early🤣. Beds were lovely n comfy too. Weather was horrible hotel made it a lovely break away.

Stayed with the Harley Riders. Cozy, clean and homey. Friendly staff and Manager and a bit of Craic too! Will stay here again!

Very nice hotel with attentive staff. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. I found it to be a very good location for touring around county Galway. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I’m ever in that area again that would be the place I would choose to stay.

Fantastic hotel, if you are looking for a warm welcome with amazing food, look no further. This is our second visit and it won't be our last. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary while there and booked a table in the restaurant, when we arrived there was a hand written card and a bottle of prosecco from Tony and Geraldine, amazing gesture from wonderful hosts. Thanks again.

Hands down they Best Hotel I have stayed in years. Actually don't have words to describe how fabulous the owner and staff are. The food is just amazing. Perfect location so homely. HIGHLY Recommended.

Had a fantastic night out last night at this Restaurant, Italian night was the Theme 5 course meal all the way and somefood was cooked to perfection, atmosphere was very Romantic and comfortable and the Company was the icing on the cake.

Had dinner on two occasions here whilst staying locally and both dinners were amazing. The dinning room offers guests a formal dining environment (white table clothes, soft music and waiter service) with a relaxed and warm atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of locally sourced dishes with seafood offerings changing daily based on supply. We had two delicious starters followed by a seafood platter which was gorgeous and very reasonablly priced. There are the standard Irish dishes of fish and chips, steak and lamb but the restaurant also offers some different dishes using local sourced ingredients such as a mushroom and Parmesan starter and surf and turf main. Offering slightly more than the usual fair where dishes have been even given some thought without being overly fussed with. The staff were very friendly and brilliantly accommodating, fitting us in on short notice and offering drinks and coffees in the cosy lounge after our meal. This spot is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Spacious and well-served rooms. Staff very helpful, very nice manager Peter and his dog Patch, perfect entertainer! Breakfast is great. A little poor maintenance of the bathrooms.

The food was AWFUL. Bedrooms very good, staff very friendly. But for over one hundred euros a good breakfast is the least one can expect. Tablecloths on the tables were not ironed. Porridge very good two mornings but like sludge the other two mornings. We dined next door in Cronanes pub, lovely food. Disappointing overall and overpriced.

We stayed in the Maol Reidh for two nights while on a diving trip this week. We received a warm welcome and from the moment we arrived, the staff really looked after us. They knew us all by name, took the time to chat and just did so much to make our stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. The dinner was amazing and to a very high standard. Seafood lovers will be in heaven, but of course there are plenty of other options too. The breakfast is also something to get excited about and will keep you going for the day ahead! The hotel itself is bright, comfortable and very clean. Tullycross and the surrounding area is just beautiful too with a variety of outdoor activities on its doorstep.

Great staff and amazing food.

I keep coming back to half stars, but then I would never scatter rosettes around too liberally. So 3.5 stars would better represent my rating — and that's not a criticism. We were staying elsewhere, but wanted to see what Tully Cross had to offer, in terms of dining alternatives. I ordered baked chicken, and it was delicious. We had found a 'specials' page in the menu. I was looking forward to ordering wild salmon (a rare treat), but the page was an old one. The place was fairly quiet, but it was bright and sunny, on a fine evening, and the staff we encountered added to the pleasure of the experience. We'll remember it fondly.

Just spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Maol Reidh hotel. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back.

Can't comment on the hotel itself, but the restaurant was very good and quite reasonably priced given the quality of the food. We ate there on two nights, and both the steak and seafood special dishes that we had were delicious and on both occasions we received good service.

Very good place. Pubs are next door. There is a burger place beside this hotel. If you visit in spring, summer or autm don't forget to catch sunset just 10 mins drive away to a beach nearby.

Excellent stay walks, Abbey's and pubs very near. Accomodation excellent warm and comfortable, great breakfast and dinners and a great welcome from all staff especially Tony the owner — Well worth a visit.

Had what was one of the best meals here last night… cannot recommend the steak high enough… out of this world… Tony, Geraldine & all the staff are so lovely and helpful… thank you all so much… see you soon xx.

Had a lovely weekend in Maol Reidh. Dinner was absolutely divine, the room was comfortable and bright with great views. Well stocked bar and live music so the craic was mighty. The staff are very friendly and obliging. Would recommend this gem of a place to anyone. Great getaway!

We stayed here for one night and it was our only unpleasant stay. The bathroom and toilet were dirty. We can't sleep because was very noisy. For breakfast we were waiting about 40 min. I wouldn't recommend, the price doesn't not worth that hotel and service.

The breakfast is very good. The rooms are tidy and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is clean (no traces of mold), but the radiator is rusty. The water is hot in the morning, in the evening it is more lukewarm. Prices are (in my opinion) too high. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a three to four star rating with tendency to four stars.

Stayed at Maol Reidh in July 2015. Forgot my earphones in the room when we left. The hotel promised to send them to me but never did. Apart from that the hotel was OK. Nice location.

Great dinner place. The salmon and crab is a good starter. Then the lamb ahank is a killer served with mashed potatoes and nicely cooked vegies. The beef steak marinated in whiskey is also great, tender although I got it pink when I asked rare… The service was perfect with a waitress always smiling and mindful to please the customer. We also appriciated the treacle brown bread and the desert was not to be missed with an apple, cider and cinamon pie and cheesy cream tiramisu. We highly recommend.

The Maol Reidh Hotel near Renvyle in Connemara is a lovely family owned and run hotel. This hotel accommodation near Clifden is perfect for those who want to tour Connemara. Great food, with breakfast, lunch and evening dinner available.
