Mamaling is a back to basics resort nestled in the mangroves of Bunaken Island. It consists of 4 well maintained and very clean large wooden bungalows. The food served was basic but very good, fish, rice and fresh vegetables galore. Tom was super friendly and very helpful. Do note there is no air con or hot water but this did not take away from our experience. Great diving around the island and very friendly dive staff made our dives enjoyable and nice and relaxed.
An amazing place to be, far from typical tourist resort. Completely embedded in the overwhelming green of Bunaken. You can see the effect of the tide in the Mangrove forest from your private balcony. Or you can exchange your travel experiences with other guests in the the cozy central terrace. Excellent food in traditional style. Divers en snorkelers will find their world with the aid of professional accompaniment. A place difficult to leave.

Beautiful Resort! Spent a couple of days there and definitely want to go back as soon as possible! The resort is right behind mangrove trees and in front you will have a beautiful spot to snorkel and dive! If you like a quiet place in the nature and nice people around you is this the right spot! Everything felt super comfortable diving, rooms, staff etc
