Located in the heart of the island and dont worry is near the harbour and bar. Well trained staff happy to cater for your every need bringing you complete privacy and seclusion making the perfect holiday.

This place is quite nice, it's a lively place, because it is in thhe main road gili trawangan. there is a bar in front of the villas and u can also rent a bike here. if u are looking for cheap food, there is a 'pasar malam' not far from here, the food is cheap and delicious, only cost you Rp 20.000 — 50.000.

We shared the Seafood Platter and it was delicious and excellent value for money. Cocktails were so cheap and yummy. Our waiter Gede was so nice, we loved it so much we came for lunch and dinner.

All is ok they have room with private pool and outdoor bathroom also clean bedroom you can get your breakfast with really nice view satisfied.

The food in their restaurant is good. They have welcome drinks. :) They need to train more their staffs as some are selective welcoming. Staffs also need to be trained on how to talk to customers. Please replace your beds and sheets. Our team got bed bug bites, a lot! And the room needs proper cleaning esp with the smell which smells of cigarettes.

Just had a drink on the beach front, friendly staff, good location. Decent music.

Food was not good, many people in our group didnt like it at all. The location and the service are average. Be aware: if you go with a group, they will give you a free dessert and then ask you to say "Thank you Black Penny" into the camera. Later they will post it on facebook.

Near gili trawangan bridges arrival. They have seat either inside the restaurant or on the beach trawangan view. The quality of food and service is good. They have baby chicken taliwang menu.

Great time with Tobby a great server. Fresh fish is excellent. I recommend.

Super chill rosé wine, with charming waitress and good food during our lunch!

Best place for Honeymoon,, if you need private swimming pool, delicious food, and hospitality,, just come to Black Penny at Gili Trawangan,, and you'll never forget your precious time here.

The villas are kept in top notch state and the privacy of gives you is perfect for a travelling couple!

I had a breakfast there. Low to average quality. Banana and pineapple pancakes are plain pancakes with only one slide of fruit outside of the pancake. Ordered a banana pancake (which was repeted by the server) and received a pineapple pancake. The honey is NOT honey but liquid sugar like the one used for coktails. You can easily find a batter place than this one for a breakfast.

Nice place to stay in Gilitrawangan. Nice staff. Nice breakfast.

Mediocre restaurant. The service bad and inattentive. Decent dishes but too small for the price. The fruit shakes that served at the tables didn't seem inviting at all. Also in the end the bad surprise of 21% of Reloan on the account. 11 Government taxes and Nice 10 for the service, bad!

Very atmospheric, well decorated. Delicious. The waiters are well done. There were 2 times during the stay at Gili Trawangan. Nice café.

Private pool and cozy bed. You have the room all to yourself and pretty worth the price. The location is jus few steps away from the main jetty and the hotel is located right next to the beach. Location wise is so convenient.

Pretty average Villa, I did not like the poor hygiene, my suitcase was filled with ants.

Villas could of been ok, if pool was cleaned and working, missing advertised amenities, safe, etc. But a bit split personality to get to Villas you have to go through downmarket area, crowded with bikes and beach hut vibe, doesn't match Villas. Staff were inept.

Good menu price ok but service charge 10% and tax 11%

Worst place ever could absolutely not stay there for more than one night. The Wi-Fi is very poor, the staff is disrespectful, the bathrooms are dirty, a lot of mosquitoes, there is no roof over the shower and the food isn't that good. You can find so much better for the same price.

Restaurant service is very poor, please train your staff. Can't just get away with "keliru" every single time. Room is dirty and pool is not well maintained. Toilet is dirty — had to change rooms on the second day because the flush was not working when they could have moved us from day one. Wifi is helpless. Location is very good though it's near the beach but we are in the island everywhere is near the beach. Good luck!

We (6 ppl) stayed there for 1 week. The Hotel service is very kind. Rooms are super clean, the pool is a bit green on the outside, but typical in the sun. The restaurant (breakfast) isn't that good (there are better locations on the island), but they do there best. If you're booking a room there, write them a note to stay in one of the rooms far in the back. Otherwise you don't get an eye closed before 2 because of the disco in the front.

Water is a little small but the door has its own small pool.
