I stayed in this gorgeous place for 4 days and didn’t want to leave!
Everything is as it looks in the photos, the location is perfect, and the team welcome you into their family. I wish I’d known how amazing this place is and the island were — I’d have booked for a few more days if I had.
I came away feeling relaxed, chilled and more in love with Bali/Lombok than ever.
Thank you to all the team for making us so welcome and celebrating my birthday with me. I had the BEST time :-) I’ll be back for sure.

Great place for family holidays. No cars, but bikes and horses. Good beach. But after a few days you have seen it all. Do rent a bike and discover the island.

Quiet, calm, remote. Time flies slower over here. Perfect place to tune out and reset.

Idyllic, remote, the most beautiful ocean to swim and see the nature in. The locals are so very friendly. I travelled a long way but have now seen paradise.

No motorcycle, fresh air, delicious food and beverage.

The less busy island beside the Gili Trawangan, had a pit stop for lunch during the snorkelling trip among the island. Much quieter then the rest island.

Precious area that can relaxing you while on Holiday. And far from the pollution.

Beautiful hidden paradise on the small island. Has a lot of cheap accommodations by great facilities. Easy to go around the island. Having a horse car; diving; snorkeling; having sunset trip; fishing trip etc. There are a lots of restaurants for lunch/dinner and breakfast as well. To come the island just need a taxi from Lombok Airport to Bangsal Harbor (the main harbor to Gili). Then, there are Slow Boat/Speed Boat/Fastboat that you could find there to the island. All of the transportations you may get in public or book for your own.

Beautiful island of water. The beach is stunning! The sunrise and sunset magical. Lotbof tourist think it is part of Bali, but it is not. It is part of Lombok.

We book a villa in advanced… turn out they are still renovating, so the room was dusty. We have to pay 200k for 2horse ride for 5people+bagage… and instantly regretted it. Should just find a villa near the dock instead. The island is very quiet and secluded. We dont really enjoy our time here.

Clean it feels very safe. My friend got the wrong bag by taking another bag identical to his, when we went back to the port of the premises we were questioned saying that they had our bag there was money passport and a Mac nothing was missing we found everything in the bag.

Very disappointed with these islands.
The beaches of the islands are rather dirty and the shores of concreted seas.

The most beautiful island in Indonesia. Relax, calm, great views, good restaurants, amazing beaches and sea. Great place to dive or snorkel.

Rilly good point is the nime garden pish on gili air and senorklling by glass botoom boaat trif 3 islands.

Extremely noisy, the sound of the mosque doesn't let you sleep, they are praying several times during the day and also at night…

Lot of restaurants on the beach. Beautiful ocean. Like a paradise on the Earth :-)

A lovely get away from the busy main lands. Could stay here for a while.

A large tourist village. Subject to great tidal excursions, in the afternoon the sea disappears. Few stretches of sandy beach. Excellent locals along the road ring that surrounds the island although with prices outside the Indonesian standards. Recommended for a few days of relaxation but nothing more.

A paradisiacal island where you can disconnect from everything, relax in its fine sand beaches and crystal clear waters, watch the sunset from one of its locals with a beer in hand or enjoy its gastronomy. Definitely a place you fall in love with.

Good snorkeling. A lot of destroyed coral, but local dive schools make an effort to replant. Very relax, quite green. Bike only :) Has some great restaurants from small cheap warung to more international. You can hear the mosque from 4.45 am probably from every accommodation, but it’s not so loud as Trawangan. My favorite Gili.

Very good x spend a few days out of the world. Quiet well suitable everywhere. Great bar and Restaurant Service. Very Little Beach, usually there are X platforms sunbathing. The only means of transport are horses with carts. Bring only shoes type thongs, the only existing road is made of sand.

A gem! Of the 3 Gilis, Air was the most balanced between activities/restaurant/fun options. Still able to find strips of empty beach with shallow clear waters where you can snorkle amidst a great variety of colourful fish in all sizes, shapes and paterns. A romantic spot for lazy days drinking tasty fresh juices right by the sea. For those more eager for night time fun, look for areas on the island where bars stay open until later (not everywhere). Beautiful beach cafés where you can relax all day, and dont miss the sunset on the west side of Air. The only remarks we would like to point out are the plastic trash left on the beaches… not a pretty sight for us but especially harmful for all the amazing and rather fragile water fauna and flora. And also, because there's no warning/notification for the tourists, the corals are dying all over the Gilis due to being trampled on by people on the hundreds of snorkeling tours around the islands every day. So, take care where you step!

Landing here gave me a feel of how the explorers of yesteryears might have dicsovered the remote yet densely populated islands bursting with local culture. This island has it's own character. So small that it can be covered in an hour on a bicycle. Great outlets and dive shops. Do visit the few jewellery and trinket shops.

Now in the postseason, it's quieter. There are countless restaurants that ma n has to find in some cases. Unfortunately, there is not lighting everywhere. Beautiful beaches but unfortunately also neglected. Still nice on Gili Air.

Lovely island and partially good beaches. Too many sharp dead corals to really go out in the sea. Good option for divers and snorkeking.

My favorite island of gili group. Cosy calm and enchanting.

One of the famous three-gili in West Lombok. It is quieter rather than Gili Trawangan but offer no less but the same view. Snorkling, island hopping are the common activity here. Such a lovely place.

Very nice and quiet island. To relax and enjoy a dream.
There are also beautiful Schnorchelspots. With a bit of luck you can also see turtles and other beautiful things from the underwater world.

The best of the Gili's. On this island you can both relax or enjoy a little party and drinks at some bars. Great sunset and great snorkelling tours around the gili's!

Quiet and beautiful by its view and its landscapes.
The locals are very hospitable.

We stayed there for a week, a mix of rest and dives it was great.

Way more calm relaxing and cozy island than Gili Trawangan. Here you can find cheap accommodation nice sunset and even nightlife if needed.

Very nice little island. To explore by bike as no authorized motor vehicle. Many bars, restaurants and hotels but the atmosphere remains calm (stay in June). Beaches moderately suitable for swimming because very little background. You have to get away a lot from the edge to be able to swim but the game is worth the effort because we saw many fish and especially turtles. Scuba diving recommended because very rich seabed. 3-4 days on the island seem enough to me.

Best place to stay for relaxation and good restaurants. Much better than Gili-T for couples and peace seekers.

In Gili Air I found peace and silence. No cars, not too many loud bars in the night, less touristic than Gili Tragawan, local people are very friendly and the atmosphere is still magical, highly recommended if you just want to relax completely and immerse in nature and the local culture.

Really nice place to stay. The beach is awesome here.

We spent 3 days on Gili air. The isle is very very nice. Hotel Gili Air, on the other hand, is really too expensive compared to the quality of the rooms very veillantes, horrible bathroom, and breakfast was awful: no smile, a very slow toaster for any customer. Priced in no relation to the delivery.

Best island ever. No car and not much people.
