Mengelola penginapan tidak mudah, saya juga 100% setuju menjual semua kamar di berbagai website dalam waktu bersamaan sangat me-maksimalkan kesempatan menjaring tamu dan menaikan promosi, namun risiko double-book menjadi besar. Jika sampai terjadi, double-book menyebabkan sebagian tamu tidak mendapat kamar walau sudah resmi bayar&konfirmasi. Tamu yang tidak tahu apa-apa yang jadi korban. Jadwal, rute dan waktu mereka bisa terganggu. Kepercayaan tamu taruhannya. Double-book sangat merugikan hostel dan tamu. Double-book harus dihindari, tidak boleh dianggap sepele, jika sampai terjadi, hal tersebut akan sangat menunjukan ketidakprofesional-an hostel dalam meng-handle bookingan. Jika semua kamar dijual di banyak web, konsekuensinya semua staf wajib siaga 24 jam penuh membuka dan menutup ketersediaan kamar untuk menghindari double-booking, staf jangan menyalahkan satu sama lain ketika over-book terlanjur terjadi. Semoga kejadian double-booking yang menimpa kami dapat menjadi pelajaran untuk semua staf Buton Backpacker Lodge agar lebih profesional, lebih teliti, lebih objektif dan lebih konsisten. Mengenai bookingan kami Agustus 2018 ini, kamar yang kami harapkan akhirnya tersedia, kualitas pelayanan semakin meningkat. Untuk Pak Dudun, Ibu Rosa dan semua staf, mohon pertahankan kualitas yang sudah baik ini.
A very nice place and very nice people at the reception desk. The beautiful lady woke up at 5:45am and prepared breakfast for us even if breakfast is usually only served at 7 O'clock. Very nicely organized chilling spots and good decoration. You also get to go on organized tours with drivers or rental scooters. The price is somewhat reasonable eventhough I knew a couple of hours later that a motorcycle is most often for half the price. Besides I complained about a freaking smelly T-shirt in one of the dorms. One of tge staff guys came in, smelled it and confirmed it was not possible to breath in the whole dorm because of the smell. Still, he went out NOTHING was done about it. I had to go through the whole talk and embarrassment with the owner of the T-shirt by myself. For that I couldn't give more than 3⭐
