Great atmosphere. Love to have a workcation in here.

The towel and bed smelling. Water leaking in the toilet after fixing the problem still the same. Toilet not clean. Election plug is broken.

Good service provided and warm hospitality.

Unbelievably unprofessional and very disappointing. Booked 2 deluxe suite and 1 family room for a family gathering event on 14th-15th July 2018. Here are some of the problems my family and I faced on our stay: 1. There was only 2 counters opened for check in which both took very long. We don't mind waiting, but the time spent just for check in was unusually long enough to disappoint us. Apparently we weren't alone as another visitor that was in front of us in the line told the receptionist he waited long enough. 2. Once we entered the room the view we got was not as how they stated on their website, which says, "… windows overlook the breathtaking Dunia Fantasi area, pool or city view". Instead of those views, what we got was builders working outside our room! Hence, we can not open our curtain unless we don't mind our privacy shared with these builders (see pic attached) 3. The problem didn't stopped there. As there were builders working literally outside our room, their work caused DISTURBINGLY LOUD SOUNDS. To make it worse, there was NO ANNOUNCEMENT for renovation works that day. Well there was 1 in the room, but that was for Wednesday, 11th June on DAWN (see pic attached). Did I mention that day that I arrived was WEEKEND afternoon? 4. Later on we called the operator and addressed our concerns. We waited long enough (around 1 hour) with no solution given by Hotel Manager. However he told us to wait while they will try to find out a solution for us.

I stayed at this hotel now. The room was not worth the price. With the facility they have, price worth for 2 star hotel. It is understandable they are on renovation, but as an international hotel they should know better to keep customer well informed and away from all the circumstances as we dont get paid to stay to deal with your nonsense. No Restaurants as said in their website, bar is where people come for checking in, no mini bar, no room service after 10.30 pm, and most of all is no information of where and whats going on with the breakfast when you checking in until the time you go for breakfast and the place is not available, apperently its been change to another place. Lack of knowledge of people in front desk.
Drilling and knocking noises from above room was enough to keep you awake and iritated especially when no one from the managements can stop the noises so you can stay resting until the sleepiness has gone. Terrible! It was such a waste of money.

The hotel is not really good. The reseptionist service is too slow. The room is like 3 star hotel. Not recommended and too expensive.

Hotel baru, tapi sayang kayanya kurang di maintained. Handuk terlihat kusuh warnanya. Tembok dan pintu kamar juga tipis, jadi akan terdengar suara dari kamar depan atau sebelah. Kolamnya cukup oke untuk anak anak, karena ada slide nya.

Kids friendly place. Kids pool and kids worlds, ok. Great breakfast menu even for baby.

The hotel is being renovated, but the service is still good. I love to stay here.

Visited in October 2016. Hotel has the view: wherever you look at, there is at least one certain interesting point to see. But the room itself is a bit dated/old-fashioned, doesn't offer something that is remarkable for the guests. Maybe the best thing I experienced was the breakfast in Kembang Goyang Restaurant (situated on Ground floor and opened for public by evening), since the restaurant offered a lot of delicates and even offered BBQ plates every Saturday night. Didn't try or see the pool.

Having bad experience for the room. For the same price we had a better room quality to the nearest hotel from here. In room water sanitary is bad and Air conditioning. No sofas, the only positive thing is the food, parking and the breakfast.

Cozy and nice hotel c/w children's playroom (indoor&outdoor), breakfast menu is very complete and delicious. Very recommended.

A hotel located within the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. The hotel has a fairly complete facilities from the pool, restaurant, spa, tour, room for weddings and more. There are some things that can still be improved such as hygiene in the bathroom age that there is water on the floor close to the urinal. But the others are good. The atmosphere in the pool with a lot of coconut trees around it is very good. Lots of seats available in the lobby.

Poor service here. Checked in with my fiance and was told only twin bed was available. If I wanted a king bed I have to top up to get an upgrade that has a king bed. After asking them if they expect a couple to sleep separately they just kept quiet. We were faulted-They insisted that we didn't indicate we wanted a king bed in the comments. By the way their website doesn't have an option for you to choose twin/king. No service recovery but we were told we can pay if we want it. So we paid for the upgrade. There was a wow factor — WOW. Bathroom walls/floor were mouldy. Toilet bowl was stained too. Leaky tap. Safe that can't be used for the 2 nights that I stayed there. Called for assistance that never came. If you need ice. It will take ages to be delivered too. Only up side waa the Breakfast wasn't too bad. Stay here only if you have alot of patience. Discovery hotel — many things for you to discover.

The room is pretty clean, with the exception of the shower. There was a lot of mold like substance on the bottom corners, and bottom room, of the shower. The breakfast served in the restaurant was excellent, and room service was friendly and helpful.

I was stayed in 5, 6, 7 floor. The room is big. Especially at 7 floor. The aircorn good. Only. The smelt not si good. Maybe came from the toilet. Yes. I can smell also smoke. Even though there was ni smoking room. So far the staff n foods are oke. Facilities last time I used for meeting room also good. So far all the service teams are nice n kind. Im happy to recommend discovery hotel to my clients. Thanks discovery hotel.

Room have wall view But the bed, comfort and room is quite large enough. Cool slipper (i love black) Lot of breakfast variant@kembang goyang restaurant. Bread pudding is the best part of my breakfast Love it.

I been there for 2 nights, beds not clean, we called to change and said morning will do! There was a blood on the blanket! But they come and gave us extra one… next day I saw the same blanket still there on my bed! … The safe box was not working, I called for fixing… NOT Fixed!. The bathroom water was yellowish color. No that much different verity food in the restaurant for breakfast. Staff were really nice. Price were good but 5 stars too much. I will give 2-3 stars.

The room is spacious, the breakfast was quite delicious, overall, it was a good hotel. Although, when I checked in, there were pieces of glass under my washbasin, and the hallway was dirty. But, I was still happy with the hotel bcs they gave us a cake to say sorry for it.

We stayed in superior room, the process of check in was quick but when we entered the room, its smell like smoking room eventhough the 5th floor is not smoking room, but the housekeeper was giving the air freshener and its reduce the smell.
The room floor is not clean.
The aircon is central, we cannot adjust the fan and temp.
The shower is very low pressure. But overall the facilities, food and staff are OK… and we happy to stay in this hotel and will come back again in the future.

Strictly speaking, this hotel is very good.
From a price perspective, value-for-money. As new hotels, five-star standard facilities, only four star hotel pricing.
Environment, belong to the Garden Hotel, in a quiet, amusement park, near the sea. In this connection, I would like to talk about with other Marina Hotel at the amusement park. Jakarta, the water quality of the beach is dirty, there are thick smell of the sea. Distant view of the beauty, close to vomiting. This hotel's location, just right.
Services, the best feeling is, polite, and friendly. Service quality, higher quality than the guests.
What say else? No matter what. For a four star. Services indefinitely, no one can get five stars.

An old but great 4 stars hotel inside ancol theme park.

View nya mantaps, makannya ok, ramah dan bersahabat… bermalam ya.

Great hotel, they got great place and facilities. The only down side is the housekeeping.

They make me wait 90 minutes just to checking in while those who come after me get their room easily. If I don't ask the receptionist, I think I'll get my room at dinner time.

You can reach this hotel using Busway from the center of Jakarta. It's located in Ancol, ones must registered to enter Ancol. I like the dish, especially Bubur Ayam, hmmm yummy. Being here for three times with big smiles.

Overall service was ok, not too bad.

For a 4 stars hotel, I shouldn't give my 2 stars on this review. I stayed with my family including my grandmother who need to use wheel-chair. 1st of all, the access to the pool for the disabled is not provided for the guest. I have bring my grandmother with a wheelchair using side door which is an access for cart to put things inside the room. It is not pleasurable especially for my grandmother. 2nd, we called couple of times to ask the housekeeping to clean up, but they didn't come, so my sister had to asked the on-duty housekeeper she saw nearby. 3rd, the housekeeping forgot and left the used pillow cover on top of my travel bag. 4th, we had sahur instead of breakfast (fasting month). We are dissapointed that the variations of the food for sahur is not as many as breakfast that we have seen. I already asked to the reception of their restaurant. So this is the most dissapointing conversation in a hotel: restaurant reception (RR) : "It is because when sahur has short time to eat instead of breakfast, from 3-4 am, so our variations are not as same as breakfast. But, we already provide such as milk, tea and many more. " Me: But, we pay the same as people who has breakfast. RR: Yes, but like we said, usually when people have sahur, they don't eat much. Me: I think that how much we ate or what kind of variations we ate is our business, mbak.

Nice hotel, good facility.
