Very cozy and convenient, spacious rooms, good breakfast menus.

Actually it's a great hotel, but old. The plus: Location is strategic, you won't starving here. A lot of restaurants nearby. The lobby is promising, looks luxurious. The staffs were great in hospital and helpful. The breakfast was great. 4 Stars standard, nothing to complaint. The minus: The room, actually looks great but dusty. If you are sensitive to dust, you'll feel it annoying to your respirator.

A good hotel but it has been better… when a was there it was called somerset. I had an apartment in the b tower. Room was nice and tidy only bathroom was very small. Not even a shelf to put my things on. They forgot to mention you need to flip a switch and wait some time to get hot water in the shower. Breakfast was okay but staff not very fast In cleaning tables. My quest for salt and pepper took a few minutes. Not on the table but placed on a counter. Hotel it self needs some redecorating to maintain it star level it is claiming to have.

It would be great if there was any solutions offered when the air con was not working for a long time when we checked in. Especially we had a baby. However, the MODs were very nice to handle this issue. Well, next time better Verwood.

The hotel may be abit outdated but it has all the facilities that you would need. It is located strategically near to highway and many dining establishments. The staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful. The rooms may not be newly renovated but it is more than adequately equipped.

Nice, clean and tidy place. Always love to return here anytime. The rooms are spacious, attractive children playground and cozy swimming pool. Children friendly… love to be here.

Hotel ini udah berubah manajemen beberapa kali. Awalnya adalah Mercure, kemudian Somerset yang udah sekian belas tahun dan terbaru adalah verwood Nah kebetulan dapet kesempatan stay Disini setelah menjadi verwood alias terbaru Sepertinya butuh banyak perubahan. Well pengalaman stay 2 malam dengan fasilitas buffet breakfast, lunch dan dinner (paket corporate meeting) berikut rincian pengalaman selama stay: Kamar, luasnya cukup lega. Kamar mandi dinding dan keramik sepertinya Baru di renov hanya saja pintu sudah ter lihat kurang nyaman dipandang (kayu bawah sdh keropos) dan shower Yang sudah tua. Ada bath tub hanya terlalu sempit dan penerangan sepertinya butuh ditambah Kelengkapan fasilitas di kamar cukup baik bahkan Wi-Fi gratis tanpa password diseluruh area hotel cukup baik koneksinya, hanya layanan room service kurang variatif. Cuma ada 1 lembar menù dari kertas art paper berisi 5 menù makanan dan 4 minuman saja saat telpon ke operator Katanya akan dikirim buku menù dari room service eh ngga sinkron sama room service yang bilang memang menunya cuma itu aja Kedua untuk kolam renang, cukup luas hanya untuk anak kurang menarik karna kolam anak plain saja, dan sedikit aneh ketika saya dan saudara berenang sekitar jam 8.30 kursi santai tidak dipasang bantalannya. Sekitar jam 9 lebih ada tamu luar negeri mau berenang langsung dipasang bantalannya dan hanya di kursi tamu itu saja (ini memang dibedakan kah antara tamu asing dan lokal?

Very nice hotel with a friendly team of staffs that would serve you during your stay in verwood hotel. They have a lounge located in the lobby. And also have a restaurant that serving breakfast, lunch and dinner located on the second floor. This hotel also facilitated with the swimming pool and gym. The hotel is recommended for short or long stay, and for business trip, leisure or family holiday. There is a serviced apartment with one, two and three rooms units are available for daily stay.

We stay at the serviced apartments and really enjoy our staying there. The place itself still under renovation here and there but still the staffs give high efforts to make our staying comfortable and relax. Very helpful and friendly staffs. I think the people there that makes it as comfy as home feeling. Other than the fact that the hotel needs renovation, the food at the breakfast place getting worse by day, one of the downside of this place.

Mid-level hotel, lots of convenient restaurants or food stalls nearby. Breakfast buffet kept running empty probably due to volume of people but that really should have been anticipated. I gave up trying to get foods like the waffles, pancakes and pastries. I got some bad papaya too. The rooms were spacious. The lift was awful, 2 out of 3 running so the wait was 10-15 minutes at breakfast and check out time. And one lift kept not closing and when it did, made a loud alarm sound. One staff member was great, offered to take us in the service lift — may not have been SOP but he was helpful and nice. Not bad for the price and the family did have fun but maybe better anticipation for high occupancy times.

I have stayed as part of business trip, hotel atmosphere looks little outdated bit nevertheless good place. Breakfast and food options are good. Rooms are good and comfortable. Had nice and comfortable stay. Parking space is available and swimming pool is also. Budget hotel, price is economical. Spa service is available at your room.

This is a lovely hotel. Me and my friend stumbled across this hotel and are so happy that we did. They have a really tasty buffet where you can completely indulge yourself, the staff are very professional & nice to be around and the rooms are so comfortable. I would recommend.

Nice accommodation. The rooms are clean. The price is worth it. There is swimming pool. Easily accessible by car. Suitable for family.

Very bad experience in this hotel, service is bad, hot water is not available as promised. Definately will not come back.

Amazing building beside highway road.

Nice place to stay for those that visit for a short stay in Surabaya, as the location is nice for the West Surabaya area. Many good food tenants can be visited by car nearby and shopping district of West Surabaya.

Quite a nice hotel and big rooms, though maintenance is quite poorly maintained. I hope they increase their service.

Nice and cozy hotel and residences, service is extremely friendly and accomodations are great. Enjoy the Pyramid Bar and it's live band music while having a drink.

Simple hotel for a "sommerset" class. But I do enjoy my stay here. Thr location in west surabaya and near the famous kepiting cak gundul place.
