Ever since Hello Hotel moved its management under RedDoorz, it went through a massive downgrade. Yes, it is true that there are now new rooms much bigger than before Hello Hotel went under the name RedDoorz. But those new rooms, AND the old rooms, are now super pricy, up to the point that I wouldn't even consider staying there anymore. The sign in front of the hotel says "spotless linen" but all sheets have many, at times big, spots and sometimes even holes or tears. When my family and I, with two children, enter the hotel to check in, we were welcomed with a heavy waft of cigarette smoke. We booked two rooms, yet were given only one room. The receptionist seemed to not understand how to book two rooms once we let them know of our two-room booking. Once we did get our rooms, they were very far from each other, and neither of them seem to be ready to occupy. Dirty pillows were on a plastic chair, not on the bed, and they did not have sheets yet. Only one towel was available. There is a massive sign saying NO SMOKING IN ROOMS yet all we smelled in the room was just that, cigarette smoke. We requested our rooms to be booked next to each other, and yet again the receptionist seemed to be confused and took a very long time to do it. Our new rooms also had incomplete amenities, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Trash from previous visitors were still there. The wall was covered with prints, probably from feet or shoes.
