My wife & I had a great stay. Beautiful views & location. Staff were super helpful, friendly & went out of their way to make us feel at home. Food was great, ammenities were good, I’d recommend this resort.

Very bad experience! We have already stayed in many hotels in Indonesia (and much less expensive) but we have never been disappointed. We arrived in a 1st room where the smell of humidity was unbearable, so we asked to change room and we visited a 2nd room where the smell was the same. We were finally offered a 3rd room where the smell was slightly month high. In making the tour of the room we can see traces of moisture on all the walls and in the hallways. Little more on top of that the towels are all of the tasks… The location plays a lot on the fact that there is moisture and the fact that the hotel is been built in the mountain, too, but for a hotel of this standing this is not justifiable. Of course the view is breathtaking, the hotel itself looks amazing and the staff very friendly but that is not all.

Beautiful location and lovely resort with many free activities but unfortunately lacking in services area with few of excellent staff members when others just lacking basic skills.

The location and service is excellent. I can't say enough about the view you get when eating breakfast here. My only issue is the room. It smells damp for the whole night. And the bathroom smells too. All of us on 3 rooms on the 3rd floor have this problem. Another one who are staying at 1st floor didn't have problem with bathroom smells. Pool is cold and 1.5m deep. Spiders in the room but this is what you get with the environment.

Nice hotel, good view of green rice field and mountain, nice people, good food, fresh air, near to Bedugul. One thing that makes this hotel more amazing that there are something like a train, move with steel rope, inclined, for people transportation to the lower area. They called it inclinator. They have elevator also, but riding this inclinator is perfect experience in this hotel. Good for family holiday. Company gathering.

Wow, what a great hotel! It doesn't look like much from outside, but their buildings and facilities are actually hidden away in the side of the valley following. Hence, they have great view of rice paddies on the valley. Also, they have this unique slanted glass-elevator that runs on the side of the valley. The food is superb, I've hardy ever had food with such control in Indonesia, both for Indonesian and western foods. Yes, it's close to Bedugul so it's far from the crowd & trendy area, but that just makes it the perfect secret getaway.

Not many hotels earn their cost and then a lot more. Dont let the price or location full you, this place is Marriott quality for holiday in price. A bit out of the way unless you're going to north Bali but well worth it. A lot better value than most pricey places in Ubud.

A peaceful place. Not far from/to Bratan lake, Tamblingan lake & Botanic Garden.

My partner and I were in Bali for a friend’s wedding. We went over a little early to have some chill time. We stayed in the Deluxe Room with a mountain view and WOW, this would be one of the most incredible hotels I have ever stayed in. After a long flight from New Zealand and then a long drive up to Tabanan arriving at the hotel it exceeded all our expectations. From the look of the hotel, to the reception area, to the fit out, everything was perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were blown away with the quality of the rooms and hotel. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough if you are staying in the ubud area. It was about a one drive to ubud from the Royal Tulip. The rooms were really spacious, relaxing and had incredible views looking out to the rice field terraces. There is a fantastic gym located down by the pool which was great to use every morning. The pool was very relaxing and loungers were great to spend time around. We ate breakfast and dinner everyday at the hotel as we didn’t want to actually leave to go anywhere. The food selection was fantastic and quality of the food was just as good. The dining area had an incredible view which faced the same way as our rooms. The entire hotel had the most tranquil feeling I had ever experienced. I have never felt so relaxed in my entire life. The area and hotel has an amazing calming feeling that I had never experienced before, one I will never forget.

Beautiful and peaceful place! Nice rooms and nice breakfast. Clean. Friendly staff. The pool area is also very nice and there are great spa offerings. Plus good activities as Yoga, meditation and so on. I just recommend to really take care of this nice place. It's not open a long time but you can see in some areas lots of water coming through the Walls on the floor. And the bath needs to be cleaned good in the corners otherwise it won't look good 1 year later. We really enjoyed the stay and I can only recommend it!

A good cosy place to rest, cool weather and beautiful view. Room is comfy. However the inclinator is slow and during peak hours is pretty annoying. Parking should be organised better too. Breakfast is average.

Suitable for family or romantic gateaway. Beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast. They have so many activities for guest. I was stay in deluxe family room but it was too small for us.

We only ate there.
Seems like a good hotel.
The manager had gone to our tables to greet us, when he knew we were only passing through.
Self catering, varied and good.

Inclinatorroyal tulip saranam baturiti bali.

Great location to stay when heading north of Bali. Close to many worthwhile sites including the Unesco approved Jatiluwih. Highly recomended for a 2 or 3 night syzy whilst exploring rustic Bali.

Beautiful place… my niece having a sweet seventeen bday party here at Royal Villa. The decoration, food and services really nice. That's a perfect party…

Excellent view of paddy rice and refreshing mountain breeze! Superb place to take meditation course and yoga lesson, this is the best place in Bali! Though it's quite expensive but it is worth it! You don't want to go home anymore because it feels like home!

Beautiful Resort set against a glorious backdrop of mountains and paddy fields. The staff are exceptional, friendly, caring, no request is too difficult. Will definitely stay again.

Good new Hotel with amazing views over rice paddies and mountains. Included day activities and tours a bonus. A lot cooler than most of Bali. 4 nights would be plenty to enjoy and explore local area.

Western style and great padi farm view from Restaurant, I was surprised by the fresh brew coffee which bitter first, but after test is full of surprises. Hope can visit again.

I have just returned from 7 wonderful days at the Royal Tulip high up in the mountains of Bali… what a great stay! The views are amazing the staff fabulous and the food great. We went on a Luxury Escape deal which was amazing value. The setting is fabulous if you want a relaxing holiday look no further. One of the huge advantages of this Resort is that it is away from the crowds, the noise and the traffic of the popular coastal resorts in the south of the island. Highly recommend and would definitely go back if given the chance. For a quiet, relaxing holiday this Resort will not disappoint.

Beautiful and serene view greets you when you stepped into the hotel. It was breathtaking and awesome. The only thing missing here is a subtle serene soft music piping in in the background.

Great hotel with a beautiful scenery, very tranquil. Friendly staffs. They have daily activities for guests. Breakfast is fine. Just need to improve on elevator, the closing door is fast it could be dangerous for kids.
