This place is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing!

This place is grossly overpriced. They charge 5-6 times more than most places in Bali. The service is also really bad and the accommodation is worn. Don’t believe the photos. Also they steal from tourists. They block their driveway so only taxi mafia can provide transport and charge 6-7 times more than the actual price. This hotel has criminals working for it avoid. Literally next door is Le Cliff or Dreamsea. Google it. The best accom I’ve ever experienced and 7 times cheaper.

We love the overall services from concierge to restaurants and spa. The suites we stayed at had a patio overlooking the beach and rolling waves, peaceful and tranquil. We loved the way the flowers gives a nice effect of welcoming you to the ocean sights. The romantic seating for newlyweds and the chapel adds charm to the place. Most of all, the view of sunset by the pool feels nostalgic.

Very large room very well equipped (coffee maker, bluetooth speaker), separate shower n toilet plus whirpool outside. its a good choice for relax.

Ideal for a staycation, however it easily suits a long (er) holiday stay. 5* and 5* staff and service.

They no longer deserve to be rated 5 star. Food sucks, plate and glasses all smelly. They don't manage things properly.
I booked for 4 nights and had to check out early after staying 2 nights wasting the money I prepaid for 2 more nights. room rates are not so expensive and now I know why.

Recently stayed 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Staff went above and beyond our expectations. Yani made for an excellent check-in experience with room upgrade and free dinner and cocktail on arrival. Fikri made sure our every need was attended to and provided us with numerous suggestions for things to see and do in Uluwatu such as the Uluwatu Temple, Ulu Cliffhouse, Single Fin, Sunday’s Beach Club which made our stay in Uluwatu very enjoyable. The views from the room balcony and infinity pool are phenomenal! 10/10 would certainly return again!

We stayed 4 nights for Christmas ❄☃️. In an Ocean View Suite. Amazing resort. All staff were extremely friendly and very helpful especially in the 360 Rooftop Restaurant. We Will definitely return back again. Very impressed with the resort, the view from the infinity pool was amazing and would recommend the hotel if anyone who wishes to visit Uluwatu.

We've just spent 5 wonderful, relaxing days at Anantara Uluwatu, and everything was perfect. All of the staff are gorgeous — so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The restaurants are fabulous (the breakfast buffet in the 360 restaurant was Amazing). The infinity pool was divine — just like the pictures. Our Ocean View Suite was massive — pure luxury. I highly recommend this resort if you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday.

This resort is amazing 20/20 for me, the staff was amazing and very helpful and nice, rooms are clean and comfy we loved the jacuzzi overall our stay was comfortable and amazing we were so sad to leave but can’t wait to come back and definitely stay here again.

A beautiful resort with exceptional staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Rooms are large, and clean and the bed was so comfortable. Food is excellent, especially Sono Teppanyaki — the chef gave a great performance, and the food was incredible. Had an awesome 90 min massage in the spa too. The views are breathtaking. Lots of stairs which are great for walking off all the delicious food, especially the huge breakfast you could indulge in. Had the best time — will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort. The staff was exceptional! They ensured that we had everything we needed and that our stay was comfortable. We stayed in the Ocean Front Ocean View Pool suite which offered an excellent view of the ocean during sunrise and sunset. The only thing I can say about the room was that the floor boards on the porch needed to be updated. The room in and of itself was excellent, clean, spacious and relaxing! The food at the restaurants was delicious and convenient. The resort does however have a lot of stairs so if you are staying in one of the ocean front rooms or villas they are not handicap friendly but they do offer rooms that are handicap accessible. I also want to add that once we arrived the staff was adamant about us not carrying our luggage and ensured that it reached our room and our taxi quickly. I again highly recommend this resort. The money spent was well worth it!

Amazing resort with quality services & facilities. Excellent staffs. We had wonderful 2 days Great and memorable stay… it was My birthday they really surprised me with the delicious cake (memorable stay just loved it) Would love to go back again… awesome villa, with ocean view. Great for honeymoon and couples. The villa is super spacious, private with perfect built-in sound system. Very relaxing sitting in the spa bath watching the sunset while listening to Melody's music… food was too good but felt too expensive apart from that it was beautiful stay at Anantara. And also to mention about Jane the photographer who took amazing pictures of us Thanks for the beautiful memories!

Anantara uluwatu was an unexpectedly incredible experience! The detail of the interior design is exquisite. The hotel is focused around the vast sight of the ocean, which is magnificent. The service and friendly hospitality is incomparable and everyone is always full of joy. The spa was authentic, enchanting and relaxing. Overall, an unforgettable experience.

The natural views are nice… and that's about it. A room at this place will set you back anywhere between $500 USD to upwards of $1000 and I'm not sure how they justify it based on how run down the place looks and feels. If you eat here, beware of the whopping 21% service charge on top of the already pricey menu and 10% govt charge. That's insane. I saw some of the seafood they had on display for a barbecue night… There was a fish that looked like it was dead for a couple of weeks. The eyes were sunken and white and the flesh looked like it was decaying and yet it was there on a bed of ice, ready to be cooked and served to some unsuspecting customer. If this is any indication of what the food is like that you get to see. Imagine what they are hiding.

At the beginning of the booking of the pro-sea room in the decoration, Anna Tara customer service one weeks in advance to tell us to change our room to another suite, the room is generally clean, but whether it is the design, or aromatherapy style is very good, breakfast variety slightly less, but the scenery is very good, the biggest feature of this hotel is the scenery and design excellent,
Rooms and services, general, is I have been to the Anna Tara hotel level downstream.
There is a little less than the Chinese people, many Europeans and Australians, most of the waiters do not speak Chinese, communication is mainly English. If you tip the yuan, the Anna Tara waiter doesn't seem very happy. The overall design is fantastic, however the facility has not aged gracefully, and our shower head di DN ' t-properly and he visible stains in the bathroom, it's not bad, but room wise, it's not the best Anantara
I ve been to. The breakfast selection is limited, but the food is okay. Because its proximity to Australia, it is a lot of the upside, and is not exactly friendly, so take WhatsApp. However I believe the biggest attraction of this hotel are its view, I mean just look at it, it is astonishing.

The breakfast buffet could not be called as the choice was very clear. Compared to the buffet breakfast in the Bayan tree, we can only offer 2 Stars. At least 2 times a day the electricity was completely out of our villa, unfortunately they did not get it repaired permanently and we were not offered a spare villa even though one of the most expensive ones had booked in the front row. The villa was very modern and comfortable, the private pool rather small but with nice sea views. Because of heavy rain much then still the internet and telephone, also local, was no longer possible. We find a 5 star hotel should have more possibilities to avoid such failures or to get repaired at least in 5 days. Price — performance ratio is unmatched!

Great facilities, friendly staff. Cleaning and turn down daily work rooms were always in order. Location is great for seclusion, but was a bit far in to comfortably walk to anything with and child, toddler and baby in tow. Two restaurant locations offering mostly the same menu apart from events/specials. Would still be happy staying here again as the amenities are good and staff are wonderful.

Pool and restaurants are very nice. The ocean front rooms have excellent views and private hot tubs on the balconies. Beach access is limited. There is a glass no frills elevator from the pool level to the beach. At high tide there is no beach and waves can be crashing against rocks at the base of the stairs.

This place is insane. Never seen a view like it. Every single staff member knew our names. We had a problem with the start of our honeymoon (had to travel a day later) and they were so understanding/accomodating. We had room 643 — request it if you can! It's got a private pool and spa and other guests can't see you — it's completely private and the view is spectacular — I nearly cried upon check in. Other rooms with pools aren't as private. The food is amazing — breakfast was included for us and we ate at the pool bar, sea salt fire and the Japanese place, which was the best. All amazing. Please stay here you won't regret it! Nicest people and most beautiful place!

Cannot rate this place highly enough. The staff are awesome and remember your name. The location is second to none. The value for money is good. The breakfast buffet absolutely kills it. All restaurants on site are as good as anywhere in Bali. The Japanese is the best. Only hitch we had was a malfunction where a piece of the wardrobe fell on me. But this could happen anywhere and the response from the staff was awesome. Highly recommend this for a surf trip, eating trip or a sangria-by-the-pool type trip. Can not recommend more.

This resort is beyond amazing, stayed here for two nights and hardly move myself from their infinity pool. The foods were great and the selection of breakfast is more than enough. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Anantara never fails to pamper you. It's a amazing resort. Superb room with great amenities and great view. Staff remember your name. The swimming pool is great. There is a location for romantic dinner next to the pool. Food at the restaurant is OK, normal anantara choices. There is fresh juices for you to choose. The restaurant itself, you can stay for hours… Read your book and enjoy the coffee…

It is at the south of Bali facing Indian Ocean. About an hour away from the airport. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. Service was also good with 24hour reception and prompt assistance.

Anantara Uluwatu exceeded our expectations! From arrival the staff were very attentive to our needs, always smiling, polite and pleasant manners were used in all interactions. When we arrived into our oceanview room, we were amazed by the size of the room and the extra features everywhere! The lovely staff member showed us every little detail of the room, so we knew how to use the features efficiently and politely requested to call her if we required further assistance. We absolutely loved the in room expresso machine, this was a real treat! And my partner and I loved the Bose surround system in the room, we both love music and with the incredible view of Impossibles Beach, we were in paradise! Being both surfers, having the lift access to the beach was perfect and saved a lot of sweaty climbing the steep cliff with the usual staircase you use when staying elsewhere around the area, this was 5* star service, loved it :) The food served in the restaurants was high quality, fresh, gourmet and plenty of dietary requirements options, as we're both health conscious people, this is a priority for when we travel. We actually over did it with the food, over eating as there were too many delicious choices to choose from, we thought, "When in Rome! " I'd like to make a special mention to Rina from the 360 restaurant, she looked after us with exceptional service during breakfast and dinner on several occasions, she was very personable, friendly and welcoming.

This is an amazing setting for this hotel as you can see by my picture. However I do feel as if the resort rely on the location and the view to charge exuberant prices and fall very short on their eye for detail when it comes to the rooms and services. The finishing's are poor to be honest, the lighting in the room was terrible and our room smelt like wet carpet our whole stay, which is very off putting when you pay so much. We gave it 4 stars because the staff were lovely and the location and sunsets are amazing. Would be great for any keen surfers.

Loved the location. Highly recommend the room with the private pool. If venturing to the Gili islands, I would recommend booking on your own and not through the hotel as we ended up paying almost twice as much as some of our fellow passengers because of "where we stayed', even though we had already paid an additional charge for transportation to the boat.

Excellent views very friendly and smiley staff amazing views from the rooms with a balcony jacuzzi experience… Good food excellent breakfast. Free shuttle service to Uluwatu Temple with the fire dance, and also to the really nice beach near by. By far the best surf spot and the view of the infinity pool over the cliffs +waves +sunset is to die for.

I brought my fiancé here as a surprise and it was beautiful. We had an ocean view, pool villa and it was fantastic. The jacuzzi on the deck was a nice touch. We really relaxed and it felt like a piece of heaven every morning and night. I shopped around and my agent got me a very good deal here even in high season, great value for money. The staff were great and responsive, the food great we really couldn't knock it the whole experience.
The hotel is showing a little ageing but gracefully and they are addressing it with some upgrades but its discrete you don't really know it's happening.
My only complaint is the Tepanyaki restaurant which really needs some attention but food was good, ambience poor. We did the exclusive, romantic couples dinner which I highly recommend so much food, rose petals line the ground with candles it was really beautiful and special.
We met the GM at breakfast Allen and he was very nice and welcoming even buying us a drink at the pool when we bumped into him again.
I would highly recommend the hotel and the area ulawatu to anyone.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in for what it cost. The hotel is, and appears to be in poor condition and rooms are dirty. The room smelled like urine and we found dirty cups after the the room was cleaned, to top it off, there was a pubic hair stuck to the head board of the bed. I could keep going on and on. What made me write this review was when we tried to leave the hotel due to our lack of satisfaction, and there policy is firm that they do not refund any money no matter what. Even before staying at the hotel we informed the hotel we may need to cancel due to a death in the family and they still would not allow us to get our money back. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT book at this hotel. Uluwatu is beautiful and there are plenty of hotels that are twice as nice and half the price. And, just to note, this is the first negative review I have ever written.

I am currently staying here and I have to say that the place has fully lived up to my expectations. The view of the ocean is unbelievably beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, the food is phenomenal but the best thing about this place are the staff who are always polite friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.

Just wow! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We brought our 5 month old here for her first overseas trip, the resort were extremely accommodating and set us up in a lovely room with cot. Breakfast selection more than adequate and the dining room has beautiful sea views. One of the best infinity pools going around, and there's also a lift down to the ocean if you want to go surfing. Enjoy.
