Beji Bay Resort Review — Cesspit Hotel Anyone can see from my many reviews that I am not in the habit of giving bad reviews, however, this one takes the award as being one of the filthiest accommodations we have ever had the misfortune of booking; sadly, it makes me doubt the credibility of the numerous TripAdvisor reviews I ever so carefully scroll through. Are they true or not? Are the writers of glowing reports laughing at me when I give them helpful votes?! From now on I will be especially suspicious of deals that state no refund. Perhaps this is for a very good reason? Here at this so-called resort, we have filthy floors and walls that look as if they have never been washed and towels so greyed and warn we are scared to wipe our bodies with them. I dry my dogs with better! Sheets look pretty sus too! The basin has no grate so look out should you drop something valuable in it. To add to our dismay the shower floor will not drain, obviously, it is blocked and the toilet leaks all over the bathroom floor. To make matters even more distressing floors are mopped with filthy old mops full of pathogens. Goodness only knows how many dangerous germs are lurking on the bench tops and toilet. Strangely, when most guests are coming from Western countries they are not being catered for, the TV is antique and has no International stations, and to boot, the Internet is almost impossible to use. Shifted to another room, guess what the antique TV doesn’t even work! Great service!

This is pretty old hotel which is right in front of padangbai harbour. The staff is friendly food is also fair. Price is relative cheap. Its good for people passing by before cross over to lombok island.

Friendly staff, good swimming pool but the infrastructure is a bit outdated. Even though they have a good quality/price ratio.

The "Resort" has a nice outdoor area with a beautiful pool as a highlight, but this one was not really clean. We didn't like our room at all: Everything had come quite into the years and only moderately clean, the bathroom was quite off-putting. The towels were hollow, grey and frayed, the shower head had no bracket on the wall and on the floor there were already pools of water on arrival, which probably came from a leaky spot. In addition, the sockets hung half out of the wall and ants were spread throughout the room, all in all the room did not make a confidence-inspiring impression.
Luckily we were only accommodated here for one night, we definitely won't get back there!

The staff were friendly, and the hotel was quiet. However the rooms were not clean or updated. The pools were in dire need of a thorough clean, but was lovely have the rock formation close. Unfortunately the hotel lobby area smells of feces and the hotel is located right next to a Muslim and Hindu cemetery.

Breakfast was good. Rooms are not at all up to my expectation though booked through cox and kings spending a lot of money for one night stay only. Also there are lack of indian charging points in the rooms.

Good Place to spend the night before taking the boat to Gili Islands. Quiet, clean and good deal.

The pool is really good, and the location is ace especially for a visit to Blue Lagoon and Bias Tungel beach! Really good snorkeling locations. The room was nice the shower was the only problem as it did have a holder it was just in the bath, and the bath was also grimmey. The fridge provided also smelt odd.

Nice resort though a bit old. Towels are really old and bathroom seems run down. Overall still a great place to stay.

The location, the pool and the staff are good. That's pretty much it. All the hotel rooms and facilities need to have renovation. It could look good but it seems to miss a touch up since a while. Not that clean and need some furniture to put clothes and everything. Compared to what I've booked in Bali, this hotel is not a good value for the quality.

Room (103) was spacious and well air-conditioned, beds clean and comfortable, and there was a mini fridge that was handy for cooling water. Wetroom shower could do with a curtain, and drainage was poor, leading to a constantly wet bathroom. Good breakfast at 50k for drink, fruit, and pancakes/nasi goreng/… Wifi doesn't reach rooms very well. Friendly staff.

Wifi doesn't work worth a da**, room seemed to be falling apart and smelled bad Also staff tried to up sale tickets to gili, shuttle bus, taxi, snorkeling, and everything in between.

Nice little spot not far from the beach and the port. Rooms good.

It is 15/06/2017 and I can't see any building under construction like in other comment. Our room is slightly better than other rooms we had here on Bali so far (6 previous rooms). I have zo say that this place is better than other guesthouses. If u want to rent morotbike, go on post office, don't rent it here.

Was good place and we will come again this weekend very excited.

Good place to stay the overnight! Nice and simple breakfast… I like Padangbai a lot! Great place to eat is at Ibu Ketut: Segara Ayu! Makes all meals fresh! Enaknya!
