Me and wife went here for our honeymoon for 4 nights and the hotel was amazing, especially the staff I couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you guys so much for making our experience so perfect.

Very nice cottages in a wonderful garden. My room was perfectly located, so no one could pass by except housekeeping. Mostly I only heard frogs and monkeys. The staff is very friendly and arranged a transport to the airport very quickly when my driver suddenly cancelled.

I only rate the restaurant here, because I only had breakfast in this one. The choice of breakfast is not really huge now. There are 4 dishes to choose from for 85, 000 idr each. Either
— Pancakes
— Egg with sausage and ham and croissant
— Fried rice or chicken (Indonesian)
— and the last one is total 2 small sausages and funny croissants

I stupidly chose the last court (continental breakfast). The sausage was tiny and tasteless. Coffee is not a real experience now. The fresh watermelon juice was ok. I also tried the Nasi goreng (Indonesian dish) and it was unfortunately not a real highlight either. As a result, everything was NOT worth 85, 000 idr. Hence the negative valuation.

The rooms may be great, but breakfast is embarrassing.

However, the service was very friendly!

I was not too sure what I exactly getting into with Ubud Inn Cottages. I did all my bookings online and about 2 months ahead. Ubud Inn is not part of any major hotel chain. Perhaps that is what makes it so unique. The hospitality is natural rather than trained. Check in/out. This was a breeze. Just pay and you are off to your room. Rooms. Took two 4 bedded rooms. To accomodate 5 adults and 4 children. Had some minor hiccups here, but the staff were prompt to rectify them. Just a note here, some rooms are upstairs, so if you are travelling with aged parents or young children, you might need to request for ground floor rooms. Carrying tonnes of luggage upstairs is no fun either. Mattresses was noticeably thinner than most hotels and water pressure for the showers were low. Food. Breakfast is ala'carte. Order from breakfast set and they make it for you. Other meals the portions were good. Garden. This is my favourite part of the hotel! If you enjoy short stroll in the garden in the coolness of the morning air, this is definately the hotel for you. I love the landscaping, the pool, and the waterlily ponds. Its about a 5 minute walk to the monkey forest, 15 minute walk to Ubud Market and Ubud Palace. Plenty of shops for food, souvenirs, convenient stores and massages. Overall a wonderful stay at Ubud Inn Cottages. I would recommend this place simply for the garden. If I find myself in Ubud again, my first choice of hotel would be Ubud Inn.

You can also come the spa here. Though you need to pay a deposit. We paid 100k Rupiah on a 350k treatment package. We were escorted down the garden and past the pool to the spa, thinking it would be lovely in the garden with some nice views. Oh no. Smack bam at the end of the garden with a wall as a view. The spa was dark and hot with no AC. The therapists tried to make it nice, but they had little to work with. It was squashed as we sat down to get a foot wash. Then laid down on hot beds. Our package was for 2 hours, and included a back massage, body scrub, milk bath and flower bath with herbal tea and biscuits at the end. The massage was ok. The body scrub consisted of some paste being slapped on and then being left alone for half an hour as the stuff dried and caked in the heat of the room. Then the scrub was rubbed off and the milk paste slapped on and again left alone for half an hour as the stuff dripped all over you and mixed with your sweat. Repeat the front, but now you are laying in the bits of dried scrub that was on your back so it is itchy and uncomfortable. Then a bath gets made for you with probably about 15 flower petals. Shame the therapists did make a little heart and tried to make pretty with what they had. We were given some ginger tea in the bath. But all of this was in a windowless room, hot and stuffy and completely un-relaxing. I do not recommend at all. : (

Stayed in room 225, it was lovely! Enjoyed food from the restaurant at all times of the day, great menu selection! I had a spa treatment package that was 3 hours which included a Balinese massage, salt rub (I chose it with coconut), a floral bath and facial. It was so relaxing I kept calling asleep! I feel great both in muscle, skin and spirits. I would gladly recommend then and go again myself.

Beautiful place with clean rooms and amazing staff. This place was fantastic, I loved my room here. The massage I got was the best I've had and the staff couldnt be more helpful. The only improvement could be a bigger selection of breakfasts. But thus place has been one of my favorites in Bali.

Nice huge rooms, big beautiful garden. There are two things for your attention: the pool contains so mich chlorine, my girlfriends blonde hair turned into green because of this chemical, when we used the pool our skin was stinky because of it too! It is extremly unhealthy and dangerous! Second: there are no mosquito nets in some rooms — so beware, they can annoy you in these juge rooms big time!

A 3 stars for the staff and the garden. We had probably the worst room, old, crappy and with rats in the couter-roof during the night. We told to staff but nobody came, only the rats the second night… We are in Ubud. Ah. And only one electricty socket of 5 working…

Good hotel in the best location here. It has car parking, breakfast. And it's not expensive, compared to others around.

Very neat and wel maintained rooms. Loved the ambience. Good breakfast. Good hospitality from people. Very quick turnaround for issues like AC not working.

Very pleasant garden and pool. The staff is charming. Room is absolutely normal and clean. Breakfast could have a bit more variety — you can choose from the standard egg dishes or pancake, with fruit salad (or juice) and coffee (or tea). Worth the price, and I am willing to stay here again during my next visit. Terima kasih, Ubud Inn!

First Stay 5
Very good Hotel right in the centre of Ubud. Hearty reception and very friendly Staff. Rooms clean and spacious, only the view (no — the courtyard) could be faulted… but the Afenthalt in the room is limited anyway only to Sleep. A la Carte Breakfast is amazing — from selection to presentation. Afternoon Tea with pastries in the Rooftopbar as well as the Breakfast incl. Second Stay 3
Unfortunately, I have to correct the 5 star Rating down. The second stay we received a room in the EC. (before 2. Floor). Here it smells extremely musty!

Though we stayed only for two nights, it was a really good experience. The staff were warm and very helping. The rooms were a lil musty due to which the smell spread to the bed covers and pillows. Apart from this everything was spot on. Kudos to your breakfast staff, made sure we left every morning with a full stomach.

We stayed for 2 nights, the best hotel experience ever, the staff always carried a nice smile n wanna help u out sincerely, sometimes u can feel the staff's smile is not true n sincere. But not in here. The room, the facility the locayion are truly great, not mention the awesome breakfast. Truly recommend.

Dated, bathroom without aeration, d another time…

Hotel very well located, comfortable and well maintained. The staff is charming and helpful. And especially the must, the garden is unique and beautiful. Kudos to gardeners.

Nice smaller hotel on the main road (Monkey forest RD) in Ubud. The breakfast is good, beautiful, small swimming pool in the garden. Personal service is ok. Standard room is fine for one or two nights. Nothing fancy, very small bathroom.
