Even though the place is abit far from Ubud city center, I would still give 5 star rating. Super friendly owner and feels like living like a local.

What a fantastically beautiful place to stay! I had been in and out of Ubud several times during my month long stay in Bali, and this was the perfect place to end my trip! Ketut and Koming are truly gracious and kind people. Their home is tucked into a lovely community complex at the top of a hill with very sweet children running around. The location is great because it is very peaceful, but still very convenient to visit other parts of Ubud. My bedroom on the top floor overlooked the rice fields and had a small balcony. The shower was the best I had in Bali! And the breakfast (which is charged separately, not included in the booking fee) was delicious, elaborate, and made to order. I was happily invited to have Saraswati ceremony breakfast on my last day — nasi kuning — which was special to me. I highly recommend a stay here!

Best stay from our vacation! Very nice and helpful people who make your stay very pleasant. Breakfast is nice with enough choices for everyone. The same goes for dinner options. Nice view on the rise terrace in the morning while having breakfast. Room was very spacious and had a large bathroom with bath. No air-conditioning in the room, but the provided ceiling fan is more than adequate. Also rented a scooter via the owner. Was well priced and ok. All in all a very good stay here! Good value for money!

Honestly I think it's the best in Ubud, the views are nice, the city roofs and rice fields, the staff are so nice and friendly and they help you with everything. Good breakfast and gluten free options. The location is not the best because it´s a little far from the center but only 15 minutes walking. But if you rent a motorbike it will be only 3 minutes.

My favorite place to stay in Ubud! I stayed at Kenari House for one week and I can’t recommend this guesthouse enough. I had a terrific experience here. This place is an absolute gem; consider yourself as lucky if you get a chance to stay here! The rooms are large, very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The view of the rice paddies from the second or third floor is serene and absolutely captivating. The room rates are affordable and the optional breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend the traditional Balinese breakfast plate. Super colorful and healthy. I miss those little green pancakes topped with grated coconut and the chewy rice flour snacks shaped like fingers. Kenari house provides the best customer service of all the places that I stayed at during my month long trip to Bali! The hosts, Ketut and Koming are the best! They are super friendly, helpful, and caring! They really treat you like family. Ketut gave me directions and offered to take me to the doctor when I was battling a lingering ear infection. They taught me how to make Mee Goreng and Pisang Goreng. They also helped my friend and I with scooter and bicycle rentals. Ketut and Koming are so welcoming and friendly. They allowed me to extend my stay with them and accommodated me with little notice. My favorite experience in Bali was when Ketut and Koming invited me to join their family to watch the ogoh ogoh pre-Nyepi Balinese New Year parade in the adjoining town. I'll never forget that night.

Super host, koming and ketut is super host they will be ask u what u need, what I can help u! Super helpfull, about the rooms is clean, and the breakfast is delecius.

By far my favourite place I've stayed at in Bali so far! Rooms are spacious, well lit and keeps cool with the fan. The owners have literally treated us like family since the day we arrived. Very helpful and everything they have done so far has been helpful. Breakfast is super good, too! It has been mostly omelettes and pancakes but also local home made vegetable dishes too which was nice! Prices are extremely reasonable considering the quiet and relaxed atmosphere here. Will definitely return next time!

This guesthouse has absolutely outshone other places that I have stayed (and I have stayed in a LOT of places). Our room was large, very clean, and had all that we needed to feel comfortable (eg. Attached bathroom, side table, clothing hanger/shelves, laundry hanger, etc. ). The place felt very safe and secure and the views of the rice fields from the terrace perfectly compliment your morning breakfast (which is also delicious by the way). But our hosts are what really made our experience unique from others; upon arrival they invited us to a religious ceremony which was such a wonderful introduction to Ubud. Also, one of the family members ran out to get my husband and I first aid items as we'd been injured from a scooter accident a few days prior. Plus the following day, we came home to our host, Kumin, holding a plate of delicious, warm cakes for us to try. All of these simple acts of kindness and warmth are what make us highly recommend this place. Seriously, you will not be disappointed at Kenari and Kumin and Ketut will really make you feel at home!
