Review of Kailash Bali 3*

We booked in for 4 night's and increased to 10 nights. The location is in a quiet village called KEMENUH approximately 10-15 mins by car from Ubud town. The owners Putu and Kadek would kindly take us by car to any place we requested including visiting sites. The main reason we came to Bali was for the Bali Spirit Festival and this was located 10 minutes drive from Kailash Homestay, which was very convenient. (There is another Kailash Homestay in Ubud town, Please do not mix up). The Homestay is a family run business with the family living seperately on the property 24 hours a day. Husband and wife Putu and Kadek, son Kevin, daughter Cindy and 3 adorable little dogs. (Every household has at least one dog). Some of staff have worked for the family for over 15 years, they are genuine, friendly, loyal, happy and attentive to all our requests. Komang (male) always seems to be there doing something, reception, waiting on tables, cleaning the pool, making juice always busy upto midnight… very friendly and happy. The family kindly invited me to join them in the yearly cleansing ceremony on the beach at 5am and bought me breakfast which made me feel humble and very grateful to have met them. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Wi-Fi is good. The pool is great with a relaxed atmosphere… being a boutique Homestay with only 7 rooms you need to book in quick. The meals and fresh juice are delicious! I would highly recommend this place.
