Incredible property. I went there for my honeymoon. It’s one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. We were just blown away by how amazing the staff and service was. This is a very beautiful resort. I will definitely go back.

First time there and absolutely loved it. A little but far from the happening areas but that slight bit of inconvenience is well worth it as you get access to amazing service and top notch amenities. Purnama Beach is breathtaking with its black sand and there really isn’t much to complain about. Definitely would return!

One of the better villas we have stayed! Excellent hospitality and people are so warm and helpful. Our pool villa was huge. Room service was quick. Standing stone restaurant had superb black sand view. Will come back again.

My son and his wife were married here last year. The most beautiful experience… people so friendly and helpful and going out of their way to make sure was perfect! The wedding coordinator, Eve, was phenomenal. She turned dreams into reality. We are waiting to come back and stay longer!

Awesome place. Quiet, airy, clean and value for money. Food is awesome Spa is very very relaxing. Great oils. Very nice cocktails. Black sand beach, you can not go into ocean but can njoy it seating in a Cabana. Good hospitality. Must stay.

For a romantic stay, this place is a great. It is a little further out from the cultural centre, but nothing in Bali is too far. To save on cost, try to get a taxi service from outside the hotel — there are many options. What I liked — * Villa was very nice, spacious, comfortable, nicely designed and decorated * Beautiful views from hotel restaurant and bar area, standing stones * Black sand beach during low tide and low wind is an amazing experience * Peaceful and quiet * Breakfast was great * Service and Staff was always great, smiling Things to keep in mind: * Inroom dining was oily, we ordered Indonesian fare (they have a decent menu overall, but it could be better) * Location is a little remote, and transportation costs can add up quickly — so get yourself a taxi service contact when in they city centre (or find one online/social media), there are many cheaper options.

I loved the behaviour of staff, room was quite good, view from the room is great. Just few things like jacuzzi, bathtub and faucet can be cleaned properly. As I liked everything but but these uncleaned things made me feel lil uncomfortable to use them.

Stayed for 4 nights. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Can not recommend enough for couples. The staff are amazing, the hotel is amazing and nothing beats it! Extras include: Free Shuttle to Sanur and Ubud Music Dance.

A nice hotel if you want peace and quiet. A bit expensive for what you get. Food was average. Not much to do at the hotel.

The best place we have stayed in because it was child-free — no one under 16! Superb food; we had a cooking course with the chef for just the 2 of us and they only charged us the cost of the ingredients. Had a villa with our own pool but the main pool was also great. Enjoyed walking on the black sand beach far from crowds and other tourists. But best of all were the staff — friendly, gentle and always keen to please. Have been several times as we like it so much. Highly recommend it if you want to be far from the tourist centres.

Really outshined our expectations, we booked a night here as we were in Ubud for two weeks and wanted to see the coast and black sands. I booked through Expedia and was really impressed on arrival. The main road that led to this place was narrow and I was expected a small resort. However you turn through this wonderful arched hedgerow and arrive at this fantastic place. The villa was extremely good, clean and well presented. The receptionist was very helpful, especially as we arrived before check in, they even arranged to get our room ready quicker. The only thing they could improve on is the staff in the restaurant were not very attentive for our evening meal. We had a long waiting time to be served and had to constantly look round for them for them to acknowledge us. Apart from that, the other staff and grounds exceeded out expectations and we were very happy we booked here.

A very nice hotel complex with friendly and very helpful staff. A very good breakfast selection from the menu as much as you want. We stayed in a very spacious pool villa, which is very spacious with kitchen bedroom, huge bathroom, private large pool with sunbed.

Stayed for 2 nights at a villa for 2 with private pool. Overall the experience was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and professional, our villa was in good condition and exceeded all our expectations. Food and service at the restaurant was one of the best if not the best during our stay in Bali. We had a spa treatment included and enjoy it very much. It's a small and private resort that is located 20 minutes north of Sanur, by car. The location is calm with a few people other than guests on the beach. The beach is not something I would lay down in to relax and go out for a swim in, as the waves are rather big and the amount of garbage laying around is, well not what you think of a paradise beach. Not sure why the hotel doesn't clean up on the beach around the hotel. There do seem to be a rather big problem in general around Bali with garbage pollution.

I don't know why this place became 1st hits place for afternoon tea in Bali by TripCanvas! 8 different kind of cakes only spring roll and very oily as not sweet, the others too sweet. They only give us one choice of drink which is tea or coffee, and staff was not friendly, the view with stone was not spectacular like TripCanvas describe.

Me and my sister stayed at the Royal Purnama Bali from 12th-19th August 2017. This was our first time at the Royal Purnama Bali. We were warmly welcomed, easy check-in, friendly staff, tour of our villa, and they even gave us free mojito while waiting for the golf cart. Me and my sister chose this hotel because the villa has standing stones right in front of the restaurant which is one and only in Indonesia. Excellent property!

There is No other word to describe about this hotel! The only one word from us is 'Perfect'.
Definitely we will come back again and experience the best hotel service with all we need for chill out and enjoy the stay…

Great facility, we felt very comfortable for 10 days.

Its a nice place to stay for a getaway or out from the bustling city center of denpasar as its located quite far from Denpasar. This could be a bit problem to get food or anything else if you don't have any vehicle with you as the hotel located far from the main road. They wouldn't allowed guest to bring kids in the room area but instead they provided a small library for kids. The rooms was nice with open bathroom with private pool for lower floor and jacuzi for upper floor, each of this has connecting door through stairs. They also provided small kitchen and some of appliances like coffee machine, pan, wok, plate, etc but you may need to request for a spoon and fork. They also has restaurant near the beach which is nice to check but the beach has black sands unlike other beaches in Bali.

To enter this beautiful place, voucher of 200k needed per person and could redeemed for food and beverage. Nice spot!

The level of service excellent. The gardens, the views of the ocean next to the working rice fields beautiful. The food well priced and yummy. Day spa heven! Only two and a half years old. The best place I've stayed in bali by far!

Beautiful place to spend a short honeymoon — far from the crowds and sublimely peaceful. The sound of the waves crashing from our first floor jacuzzi suite was divine. Service and staff so lovely, the staff remembered our preferences each morning and always greeted us so warmly. The breakfast options are fantastic. The cocktails are DELICIOUS and are served directly to your daybed by the pool. It's not the place to go if you want lots to do, although it's easy to arrange tours or activities — the reception staff are very knowledgeable and even arranged for one of their drivers to take us to an art gallery they recommended. Hot tip: their spa will organise a beautiful aromatic bath for you in your own room for a small cost — ours was filled with flower petals and they also arranged petals on the bed and an ice bucket for our champagne. We probably won't go back as we normally prefer to be more central, but it was absolutely perfect for our quiet few days :) Only negative — the shower alternated between cold and boiling without warning, but we never mentioned it to anyone so that's our problem!

The spa service was great. The territory next to the ocean is quite well designed. The service is average, so is the food. But generally the hotel is undermaintained and overrated unfortunately.

This place is glorious. The rooms are beautiful (I've never felt compelled to take a panoramic photo of a bathroom before), the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. The setting itself is just "wow". From the stunning pool to the sparkling black sand beach, it has something amazing around every turn. As if that wasn't enough; the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, looking to go above and beyond. I can't think of any way to make it better.

I didn't stay here, just visited the restaurant. The food is pretty pricey, so I have high expectation, but. Turn out the taste is just okay. I love the view, however. The design and setting of the place are fantastic! The beach and rice fields view give them ++ points. Great place for chillax with friends, family or your love one.

A kind of paradise on earth… The villas, the premises, the landscape, the services, the restaurant, the spa, the people, everything is just perfect at the Royal Purnama and everybody strives to make you feel perfectly relaxed and happy at any moment. Probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in until now. The ideal place for honeymooners and peace lovers. Our only advice: come and see it by yourself!

Upscale resort and upscale crowd and prices, very beautiful, spot on the beach where you cannot swim because of dangerous currents.

Shower water temperature and pressure was inconsistent but overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The customer service was the best and all the birthday preparations and services they gave us was incredible — now thinking of hosting my wedding (when the time comes) there! Thank you :)

I stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon, this was our first stay in Bali and we spent four nights at the Royal Purnama. The staff were upbeat and friendly, and provided great guided tours around — as well as pointing out the more reputable places to go, and places to avoid. PROS: — The staff were friendly and helpful. — The decor and aesthetics of the resort are amazing — there is so much that is photo-worthy here. — Great facilities; the place was built in 2015 so during our stay everything was modern and in perfect working condition. — The one bedroom pool villa is AMAZING! After my wife and I left the Purnama we used it as our comparison to other places. — The complimentary breakfasts were filling and plentiful; we looked forward to them. CONS: — Some of our dinner meals were not at the quality we would expect for the price paid. Twice my wife was unable to finish eating her food. — The black-sand beach at the front of the resort is not swim-worthy and is a bit of a let-down. — Even though you get what you pay for, I have to mention the 21% tax that is added on to every purchase at the Purnama.

Amazing views and breathtaking villas. The restaurant (standing stones) served great food. The hotel staff were very very helpful and always smiling. Apart from the thing that there is nothing nearby to this hotel (like marts or other restaurant) nothing was off. They also served one dessert for free everyday in the villa. The black sand beach was very beautiful but wasn't maintained very well, also the hotel staff suggest to not play/swim in beach due to high currents. A must visit place for a couple of days.

I wanted to with my wife, our 4 year old son and 2 acquaintances to the dinner. When we got out to the parking lot of the car came directly a lady from the front desk and told us that children under 12 years are not permitted and denied us access. Have experienced much, but I find this a bottomless impudence.

Beautiful resort for a romantic getaway for couples. Resort is at a remote location, good place to avoid the buzz and crowds in Kuta.
