Price-performance ratio is unfortunately poor.
Rooms are small and rather poorly equipped. We only found two outlets here. We had to get the room before the parking. The fact that every room here in the bathroom has an open wall, it was very noisy due to or departing guests and renovation work. One night, young Australians organized a party in the neighbouring room.
Cleanliness of the room was good for Asia.
The bar/restaurant in the hotel is qualitatively O. K. But is very expensive and offers small portions. The hotel is very secluded and you can only find few restaurants nearby.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to swim here because of shouts and big waves. The beach is full of plastic trash.
There are 95% of guests from Australia who often arrive to surf in large groups and are accordingly often noisy.
The only thing I liked here was massages and fresh juices for breakfast. The view of the ocean in the evening was also fantastic.
I think, however, that you can find it in Bali for less money.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and not even come back again.

Komune is an absolutely beautiful hotel and beach club. It is in a great location and has fantastic facilities. My family and I have visited the restaurant for dinner for the last two nights. Last night an extra item was mistakenly added to our bill. We were understandable of this seemly innocent error as it was quite busy and it was quickly rectified. However, we were surprised and disappointed when this not only happened again when we received our bill tonight but were then asked for more money after not only paying our total but also including a small tip (on top of the already ++). We have had otherwise positive experiences at Komune but are unfortunately having serious second thoughts about visiting again if this is what is to be expected from the service team.

Nice little surprise at the beach. Clean and modern rooms, with warm water and everything operating as they should be. Nice personel serving great food and making sure you are comfortable. Although we only stayed for one night, its on the more expensive side of the spectrum. That's why I give it 4 stars. If we extended our stay we could get some discount.

Fantastic place, would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Food is amazing, great pool too. We came here for a wedding and it's a perfect place for 50-60 people. Happy hour everyday 4-5 241 cocktails!

Thanks to Komune beach club, we had a great day. They prepare the surpise for my hubby and son birthday. Bit shock when they said that towel charge at 50k each, while when we confirm through phone, they said it was included. well… thanks anyway.

300k for a pool bed for the day and food comes off this tab. Great beach, very nice staff, clean pool. Excellent place for the day with the family.

Fancy place but the menu quite cheap. Even a bottle of wine you can have about 400k. The beach club was amazing, fancy pool and seat. Nice view keramas beach with the black sands. Is good to have a long time sit and relax. Recommended place.

Amazing accommodation you might fall in love with the shower :) The actual rooms have everything you need for a couple or single. A bit isolated location wise but you don’t need to leave the resort. The massage service was one of the most well displayed and had such a tranquil atmosphere 5/5 for that. So close to the beach and eating at the beach club you get to watch all the action in the surf. The prices are decent and the meals are too, my fave was ice coffee and the smashed avo. The gym is by far the most functional I’ve seen in Indonesia of any resort or Hotel well done komune!

Really expensive for just a beer and not possible to seat in front the beach as we must order for XXX, 000 Idr.

Away from buzzing Kuta this place is a shelter and big paradise for the advanced surfer crowd. The whole story is feeling the nature and staying fit. The rooms are super nice and modern. I love it! My wife too.

We enjoyed a nice lunch at Komune with a great view over the beach. The food and service is definitely more expensive than in surrounding places and even around Indonesia. But it is served very pleasing to the eye. The taste was okay but definitely not the best. The portions were relatively small for the money paid. The location and the beautiful venue made up for some of it, but not all.

Nice place for hiding. The place is quite. There is a resort, beach club and way to go to black sands beach. Their guests is number 1. The beds are fir their resort guests. You can lay down on the beach club bed when it isn't crowded. The service is good. Just love it.

Visited this place to do a few yoga lessons with Lisa their in house yoga instructor — she was amazing and teaches all skill levels (my partner & I are beginners) She was so encouraging and fun and friendly. I highly recommend doing a few classes with her if your staying at Komune or drop in just to do yoga as we did. We had dinner afterwards at the beachfront restaurant/bar that had a great view and a fun upbeat vibe.

Truly beautiful resort right on the beach with the sweetest staff imaginable. My only gripe was with the bland mixed drinks. The location itself is 10/10, I just enjoy a proper margarita at the poolside. The massages were also life changing, I can't recommend them enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful wedding at Komune for our niece. It was a magical day for the bride and groom and all our family and friends. The resort staff were all very friendly and helpful. A big thankyou to Yogi who looked after our room and made us feel very welcome.

Great place. Surfed most mornings. Ate great food. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Awesome stay.

The staff is terrific… super friendly and very patient. The food is varied and welcoming to a Canadian. Both local options and dishes we might see in a Cactus Club or a place like that. Initially I gave low points to the car service offered… I was wrong. The car service is very reliable and the drivers are great. I recommend this resort with top marks.

You can get 2 scenery that will amusing your eyes… beautiful beach and greenish rice field.

Beach Surfer Chic, rooms a little compact and a good walk from beach club. Food was awesome but similar prices to home so a little exxy for Bali. Health hub is a nice addition, staff were really well trained and really took pride in their work, we loved the vibe here so much we extended our stay, good for families or couples as there is an adults only pool area. There is a sep pool area at the beach club for all to use. Hotel guests can reserve their fave daybed by the pool. We really didnt want to leave. Also 2 mins away from safari park.

Great beach club! Nice tropical garden when entering this place. Nice beach bar & pool. But the pool beds always full. The food was average.

Nice relaxing place. Perfect to breath some air and walk on the back or to have an outdoor work day to get creative =)

Great place, clean and comfortable with good service. A little bit of Australia to Bali! Attention wear special shoes (and perhaps even of the gloves) If you go to the sea, the coral is sharp and powerful waves! Otherwise it remains the great pool…

Komune is awesome. Cant recommend it more. We were a group of 4 aussies staying for 5 nights and would've happily extended! Pros: — great surf and night surfing — beach club bar had an awesome view, good tunes, and great food at a reasonable price — clean rooms with great room service — adult pool and health hub with great gym and yoga — great little mini mart just outside of the resort with even cheaper food and water — staff were excellent (I'd give them 6 stars) Cons: — the rooms aren't very sound proof. Can hear neighboring children crying and we must've had smokers next door because we frequently got the smell of smoke in our room. — I'm clutching here, there wasnt much nightlife for us younger peeps. Overall excellent.

This place is simply awesome. The pictures just can't capture just how crisp and clean the vibe is here. It may be renowned for the surfing, but the yoga studio and lap pool are as good as it gets. And the food is exemplary. As are the staff — who clearly enjoy working here. And our kids had a ball.

Before arriving at Komune resort we thought we knew what to expect, yet we were amazed by the beauty and serenity of this place. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff and they did everything to make sure we'd be comfortable. We had some lunch in de the Health Hub which was amazing. Their menu offers a very wide range of healthy dishes. The rooms are beautiful and original. Even the gym was perfect. It simply has everything you need: all the (new! ) equipment, music, airco and water. Imagine waking up in a serene resort like this and then being able to work your body with battle ropes, kettle bells, rings, dumbbells and some of the best machines before you jump in the pool or relax all day long. Wayne, the GM, is the friendliest guy (with a good taste for motorcycles). We were allowed to check out later to enjoy the resort to the max before leaving for our flight back home. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, surf, do some yoga, get a massage (they are the BEST! ) and enjoy good food and drinks: Komune is the place to go. It's worth every single penny!

Komune Bali at Keramas Beach does NOT have Dolphins in our resort pool. We are surfers and love Dolphins and share the ocean with them. We would never harm dolphins in any way. Over the past five years Komune have financially supported both Surfers for Cetaceans and Sea Shepherd and run charity events for both organisations at Komune Gold Coast. Komune Bali is proud of its environmental credentials and is a green resort. We do not have any Dolphins in our pool.

Fantastic resort with everything you could possibly want. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and great view over the beach. Rooms are sweet and finished in a minimalistic design with plenty of timber and concrete. Loved our stay! Thanks.

What a great resort! The attention to detail in the service with staff remembering your name, tidy up the room while you're out dining and you come back to find out that they've filled up the water, put the slippers in front of the bed just really makes a difference. The food is amazing and very well priced. Surf, pool. Tick all the boxes. A true 5 star Hotel. Thanks! Flo and Anthony from Narrabeen.
