No, it's not a five-star hotel, but I do give it five stars. For the price of its villas, you do get your money's worth, and a bit more. Rooms are spacious, clean enough, beds are comfortable and well, the A/C works. We're a family of five and the 2-room villa was perfect. The pool's nice too. But the best thing about Yuli is the people who run it. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and hassle-free. Yusak and Komang were really friendly and nice, and you can …feel how much they love their city, and they want to make sure you too fall in love with it. There a few minor issues… the alley leading to Yuli is very narrow, while a taxi and other smaller/narrow cars can go in, taxi drivers would usually decline to take you all the way to Yuli. But it's really just a short walk to the main road. Another thing… Yuli doesn't serve food, not even breakfast, but you can order from small restaurants in the neighborhood. Yuli will even order for you and they'll bring the food to your villa. Like I said, the 5 stars is for getting your money's worth. Thanks, Yuli. Next time we're in Bali (hopefully soon), we'll surely stay with you again.
No-nonsense, comfortable, cozy, accessible, affordable… If you're on a budget in Bali, this place is highly recommended. Very friendly and accommodating staff… they know when and how to be of service to guests, and when to give you enough space and privacy… and they can hook you up with Nyoman for your car rental needs.
