Amazing stay, fully recommended to live here during your holiday!

So disappointed in there customer service. They won’t refund accommodation when there’s no chance we can visit Bali.
And even when flights are available we have lost our jobs and won’t be able to afford it.
This money would help feed our family during this hard time.
Disgraceful.

Staff were lovely, rooms were quiet, clean & well looked after. Pool area with sun beds was amazing. Just a short stroll to Double Six beach or the main shopping area.

Wow what an amazing experience my friend and I had while staying here. A daily massage, afternoon tea by the pool, friendly staff, a quick walk to the beach and great shopping and much more. The beds were amazing to sleep in and the rooms were beautiful.

What an amazing place to stay! There is not one thing that my family and I can fault about this resort. The food, the cocktails, the beauty spa services… but most of all… the staff. Every morning we were greeted and made so welcomed. A special thank you to Myka at the front desk… she is so lovely and caring and an asset to your resort. Thank you for such a pleasurable time here in Bali we will definitely be back and definitely be recommending your resort to our family and friends!

One of the nicest places to stay at. The hotel / resort is off the main road and is only 7 minute walk to the beach. This space is great to relax or have a wedding. Got different types of room options. I stayed in a standard room but should haven gotten a suite. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The price difference is very minor. The staff is very nice and accommodating to even to rude tourist. Please be nice to the staff.

Amenities are good. Hotel room very clean and modern. Hotel itself a bit sterile and the pool is a bit plain. Breakfast is ok but not amazing.

An amazing resort with unbelievable scenery. The staff is all so nice and very helpful. The're honestly the greatest hotel staff I've ever encountered. Their food is also excellent, especially the complimentary breakfast buffets which include a mix of Indonesian and traditional western breakfast dishes. They also have an excellent spa, gorgeous pools, and entertaining events like Balinese dance performances. I had such a great time staying there!

Great little spot off the main strip down a long private driveway. Staff are very friendly and food is good. Some bits and pieces in the room could be polished. Showerer wasn't perfectly clean nor was the tap on the vanity and around the base. Mirror was delaminating on the bottom too but nothing that would irritate greatly especially noting the price and quality of all other things in the resort. Over all very relaxing spot to come and stay if you don't want to be directly on the beach or main road. I'd come back.

A beautiful and secluded resort nestled off the main crazy streets of this area. When you drive down the street that leads to the entrance of the hotel you would never imagine that such a beautiful property awaits you at the end. The property has really done a beautiful job of making this a hidden oasis. The pool is such a fun place and if you go early enough you can get one of the day beds and be able to enjoy the sun all day long. The beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable, one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while in SE Asia. The breakfast is delicious and if you are in town when they have a Balinese Dinner Show I definitely would suggest going as they are so much fun and a wonderful way to experience the Balinese culture!

Resort is gorgeous. We stayed in a Deluxe Double room which had a king size bed, bathtub, and balcony. It was a decent size with not much room to move around but was not bothersome for a couple travelling. The bed is so comfortable and soft but unusually high. For a petite Asian like me, my toes would not touch the floor when I sit by the bedside. The facilities are great: main pool was our favorite with sunbeds that had drapings should you want a little privacy. It was perfect for tanning! Pool is 1.5m deep so kids may need to wear floaties for safety or they swim in the other pool which is more shallow. Breakfast buffet had both Western (omellettes, pancakes, bacon, sausage, bread, cereal, etc. ) and Balinese options. It was very filling. Just plan the time you will have your breakfast coz the dining area can get a bit crowded by 830-9am when most of the guests are up. We had breakfast at 7:30 and there were only a few having their breakfast. Complimentary coffee and pastries are served at the garden between 3-4PM which was nice to have. Resort is a 5-10 minute walk to Double Six Beach. The street has a lot of souvenir shops so prepare your haggling skills and you will certainly get a great deal! Along the beach are bars and restaurants that have bean bags for lounging. These restaurants are perfect for sunset. There’s also a nearby Pool Club if you are looking for a great upbeat party ambiance. Overall stay was amazing and staff were very helpful and welcoming!

Unfortunately our stay did not reflect the high ratings of this hotel and we left disappointed with our experience here. The room is in need of maintenance (appliances broken, toilet seat broken, shower hanging off wall etc. ). Beware that staff will enter your room without permission. We were under the impression that staff would only enter if we request room to be cleaned however we would request ‘do not disturb’ and come back to find house keeping have been in room. Be careful to check what has been charged to your account before paying at check out. We had $50 worth of food and beverage charged to our room from other guests (staff who took their order did not confirm their room number or ask them to sign for purchase and charged it straight to our room). Upon flagging this error to four different staff we were accused of lying to staff who continued to tell us that we had to pay for these purchases. It wasn’t until I was requested by security to review CCTV footage that they realised their error as the footage clearly showed it was not us who ordered this food. We were made to feel like thieves and treated like liars and the way this situation was handled by management was appalling (was clear they don’t value customer experience). Would not recommended this hotel to others and considering the amount of choice with places to stay in Bali I would encourage others to choose carefully when picking accomodation.

Basically beautiful complex, however, the bathrooms of the rooms would need to be urgently renovated and cleaned better. Rooms very light polite. Food in the restaurant qualitatively ok, but relatively expensive and small portions. Spa and bed are very good!

Lovely quiet place just a short walk from Double Six Beach. Astagina has a beautiful pool I wish I could have spent more time in (and at the pool bar). Staff were accommodating and attentive; a loose shower fixing was repaired while we were out even though we hadn't even mentioned it to anyone.

This was our first hotel when we arrived in Bali, and after a long flight this was like arriving in heaven. Great room, great service, great pool, great breakfast, 10min on foot from the beach and situated everything you'll need. One small problem, the hot water in the shower takes at least 10 min to get hot. You're wasting so much water just to take a warm enough shower.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good air conditioning! Only the rooms are unfortunately a bit small, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately there was no big mirror in our room to be able to see it completely. Otherwise the hotel is perfect for a shorter stay.

Small ants here. Keep your bags zipped shut. Some strange mold smell in elevator. Pool was nice and beds comfy. Breakfast each day even if I paid extra for it and was not free was worth it. They have a huge spread in the morning. Ask for the watermelon with mint blend for pool side relaxing.

Fantastic service real friendly staff. Room was a little disappointing with bathroom very tired and in need of some maintenance. But I would be happy to stay again.

We stayed here for two weeks. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Service was always very good. We loved the mainpool & the whole location is very silent, relaxing & a beautiful eyecatcher. The only thing I personally didn't like was the breakfast (wasn't my taste) & the sanitary seems quite old. Our toilet blocked several times. All togehter we can recommend this hotel & we would come back. We wish Astagina all the best for the future. Kind regards,

This is my second stay at the Astafina resort and it has been as fantastic as the first time I have stayed here. The staff are lovely and friendly and the fellow guests are kind and chirpy. I would reccomend stating here to anyone who can! Fantastic place, fantastic service, fantastic people. 5 stars!

Peaceful place to stay. It's located in Legian. Beach is reachable distance about 400m. Thier service is excellent. One of the top 10 in romantic list.

I can only rate the spa which was really good. They use organic coffee based massage oil. I had a traditional facial and a Balinese massage.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. The stay was very relaxing especially by the lovely pool. The food was good. However the local beach is totally disgusting but is outside their control The hotel staff were very helpful in organising day trips or tours to beautiful places for very reasonable cost. If we came to bali again it would not be to Legion.

Another November came and a week long delightful holiday gone. For second consecutive year, we have spent our Holiday at Bali and stayed in our kids favourite place, ASTAGINA. While making the booking this time, I only looked at one place and that was Astagina. As if, my family is in love with them. It’s true, that, they need refurbishment in various areas. But, still, we felt at home. Mainly the cordial and friendly behaviour of the Staffs. This time, we stayed in the two Bedroom Villa and we enjoyed the Villa and the whole resort. The staffs were as good as last year. We are returning for a re-union of my College mates in March 2018 (45 in total) and planning to book at Astagina. So, you can see the bondage. Astagina is not the most spectacular Resort in Bali. But, somehow, it has own our heart. By the way, Astagina needs to organise a place for a small Gym for workout. Really nice place! And good locating in the middle of Kuta where it's all appening. We had a lovely 2 bedroom villa with private pool and it was a really pleasant stay. Good relaxing and good value for the money!

Nice, good location off the street so no traffic noise. Room cleaning could do with a bit of training but generally well maintained for Bali. Pools are great, staff friendly and helpful.

What was good: Excellent buffet breakfast with a large selection and an army of waiters. Reasonable prices for room service. Staff were always helpful, allowing us to check-in early and keep our bags in storage and remain on the grounds after check-out because we had a late flight. Well-kept grounds with two swimming pools. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept it and excellent quality bed linen. Fantastic shower pressure however, the shower is in the bathtub which is most inconvenient. What was bad: Room far too small for two people, with oversized and unnecessary furniture. We are not very big people however kept bumping into sharp knobs and edges, got all bruised. Sound-proofing poor, could hear neighbours snoring next door and the loud music blaring from the poor bar. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

Despite being located in a very busy part of Legian, Asatigina is an oasis. Very quiet, and peaceful. The staff are lovely. From check-in and throughout the day you'll not find nicer people. We stayed in a villa with a private pool. We feel spoiled. The villa is a great experience. The breakfast is top shelf. You are within a few minutes walk of the beach and more shopping and restaurants. My wife and I loved it here. We would come again.

Wonderful, peaceful hotel. I was worried about booking a hotel that was so central in Legian but this place is an oasis in all the hustle an bustle. Beautiful pool. Quiet, spacious rooms. Polite and friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast.

An awesome experience that I had here, will surely drag me to the place over and again if I plan a trip to Bali again. I had booked a double-bed room with terrace for 3 days and there is no con I could really point out! Awesome ambience, room arrangement and service. Complimentary buffet breakfast spread was too good, with lot many options. Another thing that needs special mention is their entertainment option for guests, everyday they arrange for something near the family pool. Things like live music, culinary classes, open air movie and so on. So practically one wouldn't get bored, even if one plans to sit back at the hotel throughout the day! Rest all mentioned several times by other guests as well — Superb location, with lots of restaurants and shopping points around. 10 mins walk to the Double Six Beach. An experience worth sharing and remembering.

Hidden gem! only negative is the bathroom is very small, the bed was huge and comfy and room cleaned beautifully daily. The staff are fantastic can't do enough for you, breakfast was excellent good variety, we enjoyed a free movie evening under the stars with complimentary popcorn nice touch! also thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea at 3pm every day. This hotel is away from all the noise but within walking distance to some lovely shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area and gardens are really beautiful and there is also a pool for the younger children with a nice grassed area for them to play. I will definitely be going back again. Thank you Astagina for making our holiday really special.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The pool and gardens are superb. So peaceful and inviting after a day at the beach. Double 6 beach is an easy walk and there are lots of restaurants and massage places nearby.

I really like their service, very personal and thoughtful. I got back one day and found umbrellas in the closet because the next few days were forecasted to be rainy. The hotel is walking distance to Seminyak beach. It is also near, biking, to the main area of seminyak where the cafes and restaurants are. I would also recommend to try out the local eatery, warung murah, which is tasty, cheap and local.

This is a nice resort just the room decor is a little out dated needs some TLC. Also the resort seems to attract the more mature crowd little more mature than I like tbh there was a lot of elderly visitors. I enjoyed the swimming pool wasn't too busy. Nevertheless this is a nice resort just depends what you are looking for?

The best resort in Bali and very recommended! I have tried to stay here for several times and will be back again soon. Best location, best bed, best breakfast, best pool and best garden!

Extremely clean, nice rooms and facilities.

Beautiful location and hospitality lovely. So relaxing and everything there that makes a holiday complete. … definitely recommend. Spent 10 days with family and close to shops and beach … One thing I will say don't get money changed at money exchanges on street they will find any way to fiddle you out of your money. Safest and most convenient way is government appointed exchanges they have security on the door. All air conditioned! You get a receipt for the money exchange and there is no commission and most of the time is equal to exchange rate on the streets. So why go through the pain… recommend BMC …. ☆

Good hospitality + nice location + friendly staff.

Good new Hotel alone normal rooms are very small. Shower accessories were even after four days not refilled. Too few sunbeds at the Pool and no umbrellas.

Has been many time visiting this Hotel, yesterday had a booking day tour and pick up service from airport from my client where it stay in Astagina Villa in Legian, the hotel is very eassy to find with no possibility getting lose to find it, staff very friendly, its seem the reception recordnize me, couse often I take my customer to astagina, the security man is very friendly, we have lot of chat while I wait for my customer in astagina villa to get ready for our tour. Over all as the driver and tour guide in seminyak, higly I recommend this hotel if you looking for place to stay near the beach and close to city with walking distance.
