We stayed at the Widyas villa for 8 days (6/2-14/2/1017). The staff were very friendly and accomodating, even though there was a language barrier. The rooms and beds in the villa were clean and comfortable but everything else needs some maintenance, cardboards are falling apart, the walls were damaged, all taps were leaking, and the shower was terrible, it had no pressure, calcium build up and the ceiling was damaged by moisture causing the shower head to protrude out of the ceiling exposing the pipes. Our pool was nice, clean and a blue colour but in some of the villas the pools looked a green/ dark blue colour but still seemed clean. The location of the villa was hard to find by the taxi drivers and a little far from Seminyak square but it's in a good location for long day trips as it's in the middle of many different tourist sites. Even though their website states they offer free shuttle to Seminyak square and the airport, they only offer one way airport free shuttle, to the airport we had to pay. The free transport to Seminyak square was not offered to us, we had to call our own taxi. The first morning we had the American breakfast and it was disappointing, the sausages lacked flavour and the bacon well I will just say I have no idea what meat it was definitely did not look and taste like bacon. However, the Indonesian breakfast was pretty good. Overall, the villa was quiet and away from the hassle and bustle of the busy city and the manager did agree that things need to be improved.
