The appartments are fine. Not very Luxurious, however they are very clean. We had appartment number 17. This was a realy big room with bathroom and a garden with swimmingpool. The swimmingpool is very small. It's not possible to swim. However it was nice to have. The Bathroom has a very strange hole in the wall where insects can come through. Maybe a tip to place a window in this hole. Some points to keep in mind when booking: — In Canggu there are a lot of Stray dogs, especially when you are on your scooter in the evening or night, they start barking and even follow. So for people who are scared of dogs, Seminyak or Kuta is then a better place. — The most annoying and scary thing we have been through is the Taxi mob in Canggu. In front of the Hotel there is a Taxi gang, and they are really rude and this was our most scary moment of our holiday. So be prepared to pay a lot of extra money because you can only use the taxis of these taxi gangsters. Its like a Taxi Cartel in Canggu. — There is no breakfast included, but nearby you can have the best breakfast for 80k. Its one of the best breaks I have had. Its called MyWarung Echo Place. — Try to rent a scooter and check other places in the area. Canggu is not that big.
Although it states the private villa is 7mins from the centre in Canggu and we could organise a taxi through the office… when we went to order a taxi it took half an hour (through ‘miscommunications’) to arrive and seemed a massive inconvenience. We felt we were in the middle of no where and unsafe. My mattress protector was wet on arrival and linen was not changed by cleans during our four day stay. It was mentioned they weren’t changed everyday however mine were dirty on arrival. I would definitely not stay here again.
