Highly recommend Ngeluwungan Villas for your accommodation in Canggu — they have something to offer every type of traveller. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here, it was a perfect introduction to Bali, and particularly appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. It was great to start each day with a swim in the pool, chat to the Ngeluwungan team and jump on a scooter to explore the area. The villas are very spacious and have beautiful outdoor bathrooms, the entire experience …is special and exceeded expectations. The secret waterfall tour with Gede was AWESOME, he is such an incredible host and one of the most hardworking, genuine people. Thank you for the work you do for the local community too, we enjoyed hearing the story behind the villas and would love to contribute further in our next visit. We can honestly recommend Ngeluwungan Villas and hope to return again in the future :).

The most relaxing place in the world…
It’s not often you find a small slice of heaven on earth. The first time my wife and I visited we were welcomed like family and it quickly has become my Bali home. Step away from the kaos of Kuta and visit Canggu with its simple beauty and trendy beachside centre. Your hosts gede and agus will happily take you to amazing sites that you normally wouldn’t get to visit and when relaxing in the villa there dayspa service is second to none. I can’t recommend the Ngeluwungan family highly enough and if you’re lucky enough to visit on a weekend you only have to ask to join them as they take lunch to all the beautiful children at seeds of hope.

The Staff, food, facilities and location are all fantastic. We have stayed there 3 times and have always had a fantastic time.

This villa is fantastic the staff can’t do enough for you, it’s relaxed atmosphere makes for the best getaway this is our third time here and won’t be the last… my daughter did surfing lesson with Si Noyman he was wonderful kind and patient 10/10… you can book him through the villa I strongly recommend him Thanks to the ngeluwungan family we will miss you Sonnee, Robin & Duncan.

This place is truly the best! You will see many reviews about the amazing staff which is so true but the thing I was most impressed about what the amount of local info the hotel provides with reviews from both staff and former guests so you can plan your trip with the most amount of info possible including secret spots that only the staff know about. After 4 visits to Bali I thought I had done it all but this hotel showed me a whole new side that I loved and they organise it all for you! There were countless highs provided by this villa and the staff and I would definitely love to come back!

While the staff is very nice and you are generally well taken care of, the room we stayed was not worth a five star rating hence 4 stars.

Atmosphere rather inn than hotel. 6 bedrooms. Nice outside frame. Noisy especially because of the work of the neighbors.

Relaxing quiet hotel a couple minutes walk from the beach, with a beautiful pool, big rooms, and plenty to do nearby!

Currently staying here for a wedding with my extended family. This place is incredible. It's a beautifully spacious resort with everything you could ask for. Nothing is too hard for the staff and they always have a smile on their face. Can't rave about this place enough.

I'm in love with the beautiful Balinese building style. Not the most modern-styled place out there. Beautiful pool with several relaxing spots. (As far as I know) a nice spa and great staff. The villas are beautiful and include a with soda filled fridge ().

Amazing accommodation with great people who made our stay really special and unforgettable! It was such a familiar atmosphere and everything was totally uncomplicated (transportation, scooter rental, helpful advice, etc. ). In our opinion it is perfectly located: the neighbourhood is calm, you walk 5min to the beach and yet it is not far away from a lot of beautiful cafes / beach bars / restaurants / shops (5-10min with the scooter). As surfers we found a few really good spots in that area. The food in the hotel was delicious, you have to try the homemade Nasi/Mie Goreng!

I stayed couple times at this villa… The service was amazing especially from gede, the owner is super nice and they gave free barbeque at saturday night? :D a bit forget because it's been a while… Didnt stay here anymore because I move to canggu which is same area with the villa… but for sure I will recommend this place to my friends.

Genuinely caring staff, well-maintained and tranquil villa. They really breathe and practice their philosophy of 'changing for the better' (the meaning of the villa's name, 'Ngeluwungan') in every aspect. Good quality food, too! Awesome Balinese hospitality! Loved it!

I just spent 8 days at this wonderful place. If you want a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of the island, this is your place. I loved every minute of my holiday here. The staff gives 110% to make you feel at home.
This was our first time in Bali and I wanted to do some exploring, the Villa provided us a car and a driver so travelling around was absolutely stress free. You can also borrow a bike or a scooter if you feel adventurous.
They also provide plenty of activities to choose from (or just do them all like we did). Saturday you can visit a local orphanage that is sponsored by Ngeluwungan Villa, serve their dinner and play with the children afterwards (they are adorable). Sunday is the day of the fish market where you can pick up the freshest catch of the day and later participate in the seafood bbq, live music and Balinese dance by Star and Moon (the two lovely ladies who made our lush breakfasts in the mornings).
The Secret waterfall tour is a must with Gede. It is a lifetime experience. He also took us on day trips to Ubud, Uluwatu and I can't thank him enough for being such a great guide.
On wednesday there is an option to see the breathtaking sunset at Tanah Lot and a real Balinese feast back at the villa afterwards with all sorts of delicacies.
Our room was amazing with an outdoor bathroom that added an extra bit of charm to our stay.

What a great place we chose to stay, the staff here are amongst the friendliest I have come across and the food made by Sun and Moon is really good, though the guys making the bar meals can really use a Wok. The place is well maintained and clean and comfortable. There are so many good things h ere we will be back.

I cant say enough about this beautiful place. The staff were kind and thoughtful. My air con wasnt working well on the first night so the next day I mentioned it to one of the staff. The technicians turned up in the afternoon to fix. I learned later that because it was a ceremonial day off that they had to ring around and finally found some technicians that didnt celebrate the holiday. I was so grateful. Everything was easy and the staff efficient, knowledgeable and so friendly. A wonderful place to stay in Canggu ☄☄☄

Sunday nights 6-10 they have all you can eat Great fresh seafood free to villa guests but also opened to the public for a fee. Music, Balinese Dance presentation and wonderful setting to mingle! Beautiful rooms and good hot water pressure and A/C units.

The food is delicious and the stay is super friendly. You cannot beat the prices.

What a beautiful place! Nice and quiet but still very close to Eco Beach and Old Man's Beach. The staff at Ngeluwungan's are just amazing. Where ever we wanted to go, what ever we wanted to see they made it happen. On Sundays they took us to the biggest fish market in Bali and we had a fantastic! complimentary! BBQ. Can definitely recommend this place.

This was our second time at the Ngeluwungan Villa and it is just amazing. The villa, the garden, the pool everything is just beautiful. What really makes the difference is the staff. We never experienced on our travels such a warm and familiar setting. We felt like a part of the family and everyone was giving their best to make us feel comfortable. We will be back in a short time, because we already miss our Bali family.
