I totally had too much fun staying in moon bamboo as first the owner greet a warm welcome. And look at the surrounds! You will never get any experiences of staying in literally bamboo house, semi outdoor shower and one super beautiful pool just right in front of your bamboo balcony! Once in a lifetime! Ppsshh just so you know they have no door… so its a curtain calls!

Love the laid back vibes of Bali and this place is perfect to reflect. Visited in May and found the nights to be cool enough to not need aircon, room came with a fan which was enough to chill us. Bed was comfortable, loved the open shower looking over the rice paddies. Staff were friendly and Luna the owner is one of a kind, friendly and open, big heart and very entertaining.

Beautiful location overlooking the rice paddies and great idea of eco friendly accommodation. The place is beautiful and the swimming pool is brilliant. Although when it comes to sleep I'm afraid I cannot give this place more than 2 stars. The sleeping experience is terrible; the room itself is too small and the bed very small too (size is not suitable for european size people). My husband and I were struggling to fit the bed and to move around in the room. The bungallow only has one fan and it cannot be moved and it does not rotate. So the heat was excruciating. The bungalows are made of bamboo, which again is an amazing idea, although the roof is shared among the different bungalows, which gives you no privacy at all. Luna, the owner has been described in other reviews as someone very nice and accommodating, although with us she did not bother to communicate. Breakfast is light, on the poor side, although the lady making breakfast is nice and always with a smile. Overall not the greatest experience and 2 nights felt far too much for us.

Absolutely spectacular location among the rice fields, set back from the main road, it's a quiet, comfortable and a magical place to wake up too. The owner Luna is a delight and runs the place with absolute love and passion, she makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The bungalows are welcoming, the pool enticing, and the beds even more inviting, no doors to lock, and mosquito nets all round, you get to enjoy the breeze while being protected from unwanted pests while you sleep. It's an intimate setting with only 12 rooms, so security is never a concern, breakfast is included and you can easily hire a scooter to head into the main strip only 10minues away, not the closest of places but you'll soon forget that when you wake up and still think you're dreaming…

Luna is the kindest, most open, interesting and generous host my path has ever crossed. She’s also a magician – and Moon Bamboo is cosmic magic. Unicorns live in the pool and Pluto and Mars guard the grounds. You don’t come much closer to perfect without losing the personality that makes it all worthwhile. So happy I found this beautiful, peaceful place and its special souls.

Four weeks surrounded by paddy fields, the scenery is very beautiful moonbamboo all the rooms are made of bamboo, so although the room does not have air-conditioning (only electric fans), in the sun in Bali room is still very cool hotel offers fast Wi-Fi, shared kitchen, and a free breakfast, rent a motorcycle, Travel guide and other services are very perfect, coupled with a reasonable price, very suitable for light travel backpacker owners are very good and friendly, fluent in English, and because of Indonesian overseas Chinese, but also speak some Chinese! The customer's questions are very enthusiastic to help solve the check-in experience is very good, different from other general hotel experience, it is recommended to experience a different Bali amorous feelings of people!

This is like a heaven on earth, they have pool, padifields, natural villas made from bamboo, and Luna (the owner) is really nice and friendly. Really have fun stay for one weeks here. A really nice place to spend my vacation.

Unique place for relaxing and reviving. Perfect atmosphere to left your work at home and go enjoy the nature.

Moon Bamboo is a really cool place to stay. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, authentic and it's absolutely gorgeous.
The location in the middle of a rice paddy is genuinely incredible.
If you're looking for affordable accomodation in Canggu you'll be super impressed.
