Very beautiful panoramic landscape view facing the sea and the city line from atop a hill. Rooms are decently sized. Staff very warm and hospitable. An awesome concrete boat structure made for selfie. Bicycles and motorcycles available on Rent. Not very far from city. Must experience the stay. Food was OK With the regular Malvan spices. Bathroom needs to be redone though, but manageable. Mind blowing view.

Place is plush. But l guess the resort is not doing that well since it isn't maintained that great and was running on meagre staff. Also the in house restaurant and service was so so. The complimentary breakfast was good. Rooms, location and views are great. However the approach to beach is far and treacherous in rainy season. Book it if with family and just unwinding and relaxing. Don't expect three star experience.

If you want to get away from the hustle bustle of your city and relax for a while with a resort perfectly placed on a hilltop with a Seaview, then Kohinoor Samudra Beach Resort is the one you want to go to. Not so far away from Ratnagiri City but perfectly far so that no car honking disturbs the calmness of this place. Go with your family or friends, this place won't let you down with their courteous service and well managed staff. Sometimes there are power outages but that won't make you suffer a lot. Remember you want to relax to the calmness of the place not to enjoy the city life with 24 hours of power.

Property is awesome, has excellent view from all the rooms, you can just relax by looking at the beach and swimming pool. The resort is still under renovation, rooms are large with excellent AC cooling. Restaurant service needs improvement, any meal order takes 1 hour minimum. Breakfast had maharashtrian menus. Nice swimming pool to enjoy in the morning or evening.

So, the resort itself is OK. Its a bit in a bad state, could definitely do with some tlc. It's in a huge space and certainly has immense potential if maintained. Currently it just seems to be running with no upkeep. It's not exactly on the beach but a bit of a walk or quick drive. The views are lovely though and the food is amazing!

This resort has a great view of the sea. It is situated on the top of a hill overlooking the sea. We stayed there for one night. The room was very spacious and well kept. The only issue was the complimentary breakfast. It was not up to the mark with only a few options available. Overall service was good and the staff was very polite and helping.

The hotel offers a good hill top view of the calm beach… Best place in the vicinity to witness sunset… Suite rooms are quite large with adequate amenities available… Decent restaurant serves good tasty and quality meal… Overall maintenance of the facility, lawn and garden was poor (when visited in first week of March)

The property is situated on Beach, which gives grand view of Arabian Sea, Bhatye Beach, Sunset & Greenery. It's 3-4 Km away from Ratnagiri city hence peaceful. Decorative & welcoming Entrance. The rooms are large & has good aeration. Hotel building has good architecture. Well maintained swimming pool. Garden is nice but still needs more maintenance & more plants. Helpful & Responsive Staff, Good service was provided. Dinner & Complimentary Breakfast was delicious.

The location is good. The view is good. But the resort isn't maintained well. The bathroom fittings are disgustingly old and full of leakage. The staff is good and very helpful. The food at the restaurant is also nice. But I didn't find the property worth the tariff. Either they should improve the infrastructure or reduce their tariff.

Best location. But no so good restaurant and rooms. Not maintained. Poor cleaning. Has a swimming pool though. Views from this place is amazing. If they maintain it properly and improve restaurants and services then this can be surely the best place to visit.

Vantage cliff top location overlooking pristine Ratnagiri beach. Spacious accommodation, large garden area. Very welcoming lobby, balcony & restaurant.

The property is spread across a wide stretch of land on a hill. The view from the sunset point is stunning. Its a quiet resort. Swimming pool is well maintained. Kids would love it. Food buffet is not that great, however ala carte dishes are tasty. The property is not well maintained, it could be a lot better. Requires your own vehicle to commute from the resort.

Nice view… no direct beach access… Need to travel to beach… Poor availability of local transportation. Otherwise the place is decent and staff helpful.

The hotel property is sprawling across acres of land on a cliffside. The view is stunning, overlooking the Bhatye beach. Property isn't well maintained though. Experience could have been much much better. Rooms are big. Food is good. This hotel doesn't necessarily attract huge visitors or patrons, so if you're looking for a relatively quite and private holiday or getaway, this could be a good bet.

A very nice place where any one can feel to visit here many a times. Its beautiful scenery makes heart joyfull. The scene of a wide sea where pics and selfies gives glorious look. So when any one visits Ratnagiri he/she should visit here. To enjoy the holidays with the nature's buety.

Rooms are very specious. It's a very big resort. I stayed here in December and there were hardly 4-5 people in the whole Resort. It can be scary for some people.

Come here for Luxurious rooms, good view, definitely good breakfast and a nice property to hangout.

No service. Not maintained. Wasted a huge property. Anything you call for never reaches your room. The staff at the reception will only say that they will send it but you actually have to go inside their kitchen to get it and they dont even regret it.

Rooms are outdated and need refurbishment and fresh furniture. The buffet is generally served in evening instead of lunch/dinner option given in the booking. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

The resort is supposed to be a 4 star property but I never thinks from any angle. The only good thing about the property is its location. We stayed for 2 nights with brkfast and dinner included. The buffet was very limited atleast for non-veg only one dish in dinner and 2 dishes for veg. The food was also I would so ok or towards being good. The staff was courteous and full marks for it. But the property needs to improve a lot… And if maintained properly it can be a superb property… The jacuzzi by the pool was also not operational…

Hotel is okay. Need to struggle for breakfast. Facilities like swimming pool is good. The sea view is cool. But the pool table is chargable. Not okay for guests. Rooms are big, spacious and good.

This place is located in hill top near to sea shore in Bayte beach Ratnagiri. Clean and hygenic rooms well ventilated and AC. Only improvement needed is the staff should serve customer with smile and good note.

The property, its location are great, simply awesome. But d satisfaction of having got value for d money spent is missing. The problems are all too petty … countless maintenance issues, futile mentioning them; d handful of people in here to serve are very efficient, doing a good job, but must say, the resort is pathetically understaffed.
Step up dear management, this Resort has d potential of being the gem, the heera, the Kohinoor of the Konkan coastal belt.

I think hell is better than this hotel and their staff don't have manners to talk with customer and also no sufficient food is provided and one thing that they should know that only decoration and good looks don't gives popularity also they should have to give their best. Also their staff first learn to talk with cusomer in manners… hell is better. They spoiled whole trip…

The property is excellent but I guess it needs to be properly maintained. The rooms are big and well maintained but surrounding property like garden, jacuzzi, indoor games and other areas need to be properly maintained. If it is properly maintained then it would be the best property on Konkan belt as it has one of the best location, right in front of the Arabian Sea. It has lost its shine might be after the management has changed. Though the staff are very courteous and helpful, food is also good. Overall good place for relaxation.

The food is worse and this hotel does't give sufficient food as compare to others. The staff management doesn't have any manner. Don't visit this hotel and don't waste your money. Hell is better than this hotel.
