Not been to many 5 star hotels but probably this has been the best so far. Nice ambience and interiors, feels good to see some greenary around. Nice rooms with very good service, and the food also tastes great. Though it was a short visit to meet my cousin, I would still give the rating of 5stars to the hotel and the overall service.

The place is amazing… just nearby the International Airport. Awesome hospitality and food. Enjoyed the stay. The hotelier staff is very helpful and service is superb.

It's a beautiful, classy hotel, and there is no doubt about it. And it's near to international airport so that's the plus point. But the room I stayed was quite small, not spacious. Staff is really but the view from the room is fantastic — the garden, pool. Very good, food is okay, I didn't really like it. And if you want to rent a car it's better to book it outside because the local car rent here is very pricey! Nice.

This place is amazing to have private meetings and conferences all day long. Have a grand entrance and parking lots with amazing race cars! Also a great warm welcome and there amazing service to their customers. It's like a perfect management. Place is really big to have almost 1000 people can sit all together! AC ventilation, water service and wash rooms on the go. Must have a visit ✌️

Excellent breakfast and very good, but not cheap. The overall staff has always been courteous. I prefer only Leela hotel in Mumbai. Because I have better experience about business meeting, because this hotel is ideal for my business.

Great pool, cozy grounds and room was with us, good food, bathroom and great shower cubicle. But there are no balconies anywhere… Opening windows… And inside the floor there are no sound insulation rooms apart. Pleasant staff in the salon hairdresser.

Nice hotel with an old school feel to it. Classy, not a cookie cutter corporate 5 star environment. Very convenient for guests in transit, as it is very close to the international terminal of the airport, practically walking distance. Lobby cafe is convenient for quick meetings and discussions. The staff will not make you uncomfortable if your meeting stretches too long.

Pool side or Airport view is recommended. Good bedroom size and lavish buffet. Dishes not on buffet can also be requested for free of cost. Dental and shaving kit is available on request. The quality of room and facilities are of greatest bar. Luxurious stay. Should stay for more than 1 day.

The first time I stayed at The Leela Mumbai, I was very impressed with the courtesy and check in process and I decided to stay again. This time it was for 4 nights. While I could sense the same enthusiasm while check in but was completely led down at the breakfast and room service. While it was a good English during private dining "Sir what time should I come to clear the room"? 1 hour and that hour never came. Very cold and suspecious behaviour by the staffs during breakfast. Did not expect such treatment from such reputed chain like Leela.

Good for conferences It is a good hotel to organize corporate conferences. The conference room is big. The refreshment arrangements were good. The chairs and tables were perfectly lined up as required. Audio and video system is good.

Make sure to pay your bill in Indian rupees not EUR or other foreign currency. The exchange rate is a ripoff (73 INR/1€ instead of the official rate ~80 INR/1€) That's a surcharge of almost 10 percent and totally inacceptable.

It's a beautiful, classy hotel, and there is no doubt about it. And it's near to international airport so that's the plus point. But the room I stayed was quite small, not spacious. One of the best hotel near Mumbai Airport. Visited 4-5 times and every time hotel served best quality food, good service as well. Ambiance is best. One of the best hospitality I have ever seen. Banquet is also great as per expectations.

Great staff and a very humble gesture by them, Always helpful. The spa and the pool is worth trying. The food at the Great wall restaurant is little sweet in taste, won't say authentic Chinese but yes definitely good enough to stay on the tongue.

Visited the Leela, Mumbai for a wedding. It's one of the best places I've visited for a social event in India. Staff are extra kind and the service and hospitality is top notch. The ambience is also extremely beautiful.

Still quite well maintained restaurants and lobby. Great place. Good warm hospitality. The food needs a special mention. Had been with clients ordered mostly veg food. The portion, taste and price was quite satisfactory…

Lovely Hotel, love the heritage look n feel. Proud to showcase India and it's culture. Rooms too have a mix of very and heritage feel. Good restaurants to eat especially since I'm a fan of Chinese food I highly recommend the Great Of China and the Coffee shop for super mix of cuisine to satisfy any foodie. Lovely helpful and courteous staff. Highly recommended from my side.

Went here for lunch. It was not crowded. It was Leela, so of course the staff was very cooperative and very polite. The level of hospitality here is amazing. We opted for the buffet. The items in buffet could have been more. The continental starters were great. The tang that should be there in North Indian food wasn't there. Desserts were limited too.

Top hotel, top service and grand ambiance.

Excellent stay. Well worth paying for Royal Club. Very attentive staff who go out of their way to look after you. Food is of a good standard and varied in the buffet at dinner and breakfast. The only negative is that you have to pay for Wi-Fi but if you sign up to their loyalty program it is complimentary.

Excellent stay. Good and helpful staff. Everything was organised very well. Check in and check out was adjustable for few minutes extra. It lived up to its brand name. First class facility for staying.

Nice hotel reputed but staff not as polite as compared to other hotels. Basics are too old no free Wi-Fi surprisingly too outdated in today’s world. Rooms are clean. But I don’t feel comfortable in this hotel. Not recommended until you have no other option.

Nice hotel. They can provide a basic grooming and first aid kit which was not provided. Excellent breakfast buffet is offered with a wide menu. Rooms are clean and neat. There are some issues during the check in. They take a lot of time during check in. You have to pay separately for Wi-Fi.

Visited the Great Wall restaurant for dinner with family l. The food was absolutely sumptuous and delicious. The highlight of our meal were the Pan Fried Noodles, which were beautifully cooked and served, the different flavors beautifully danced on our palates. The staff was well informed, helpful and courteous. Ambience has a very classic/antique feel to it. Overall, it was a great place for lovers of authentic Chinese food!

We went for a weekend away as a family of four. Enjoyed the pool (there's a kiddy pool too). Good service by the pool staff. The waterfall within the hotel intrigued our toddler as did the one outside. Breakfast was vast and very wholesome. The rooms were pleasant. They offered us a baby cot for no extra cost. The only thing we missed was some open play area for young kids. All in all it was 2 days well spent.

Beautiful property. We were here for some Chinese at great wall of China. Loved the ambience and serenity of the place. To top it all. Food was delicious, served nicely and we enjoyed every bit of it. Would love to come back.

I absolutely love the buffet spread at The Leela. The desserts are to die for. They've started a new unlimited wine thing that's even more exciting. You should grab it before they're drunk dry ☺️

Was there for a conference… Look and feel was awesome… The Staff was welcoming and courteous. But the food … It was sub standard… Not what is to be expected of the hotel.

Close to airport with very good amenities. Very nice pool with bar service late into the night for those adjusting to a major time change. The food in the restaurant and breakfast is quite good. I was surprised to have excellent Chinese food here. I recommend the Leela.

Has always been a favourite. The breakfast is good. The pool is beautifully laid out. The staff are always extremely polite and friendly.

Stayed here for a month. There airport transfers were handled really smoothly. The rooms were clean, hygienic, the staff is really friendly. The continental breakfast is the one to look forward to. Overall a really nice place.

Hotel's decor and grounds are beautiful. Rooms are nice, clean and modern. There is few restaurants located in the hotel, which cover most of the food preferences you might have. The food itself is really good and buffet breakfasts and also lunch and dinner option in one of the restaurants will spoil your taste buds. Sound of the fountain in the outdoor garden is really relaxing and the outdoor pool and sun lounges are nice place to disconnect from the business of Mumbai.

Very clean hotel with high security. Tropical resort pool that's simply amazing with lots of palm trees… Food is exceptional, and so is the service. Over the top. I challenge you to leave off the Do Not Disturb sign for hours and see how many times they ring your door bell :)

The hotel is nicely located near Airport. Very Beautiful, Attractive Lobby with designer Jaali all over. The lobby restaurant is excellent. Rooms are very nice but bathrooms are very old and needs renovation. The Breakfast is great especially Stuffed Potato parantha.

I stayed at the leela mumbai for 3 nights for our family trip to Mumbai. What a great experience from the entrance to the room;exceptional service, clean rooms. We had breakfast at the hotel which was included in the price. Great breakfast and fantastic service Want to make big recommendation of restaurant manager JOHN WESLEY at the citrus restaurant. He has a great team. thanks a lot to all of u guys. Regarding travelling around in Mumbai the hotel provides BMW service at a seasonable. Price. I would recommend to use ubertaxi service.

I like how this place is very safe, relatively clean/well-maintained and has a nice staff. They actually inspect all vehicles before they're allowed to enter the hotel's main gate. Once at the lobby entrance, you have to walk through a metal detector, and your bags go through a separate metal detector. Even the famous and more expensive Taj hotel didn't have this (basically we were able to enter without anyone asking us questions or going through a metal detector; I won't be staying there thats for sure! Lol! ). Their buffet is also decent and worth a try. Please keep in mind that this review is relative to what Ive seen in India, so dont compare it to what you might get in the U. S. For a 5 star hotel. Because compared to the U. S. The Leela missed fixing little details that from their perspective would be acceptable, but most likely not acceptable in most U. S. 5 star hotels. For example, the shower area having very minor but slightly noticeable gunk in the tile grout area, an electrical wire dangling slightly under the sink area, the food in the cabinet being unused but the packaging looks like it has been sitting there for months, some of the food in the buffet was sitting there a little too long, and their concierge are not results oriented. I asked them to get me 2 postcards (which albeit are a little hard to find in india) and they gave me the run-around.

One of the best places to stay. Very close to airport. Rooms are good and food is unparalleled. The swimming pool open area will make uou forget that you are in Mumbai.

Beautiful rooms and decor. There's an unmistakable grandeur about this property and it's maintained with high standards. Few aspects in the rooms are showing their age though. Their sunday brunch is one to die for!

Very impatient and impolite staff, NOT FOR VVIP VISIT AND STAYS AT ALL! They repeat all mistakes with all VVIP guests even after repeated follow ups and reminders. They take not less than 5 email reminders and 7 days of emails to respond. While responding they twist and turn words and put it on you and display themselves as not at fault. Difficult to get to the right person regarding issues. The team gets irritated the moment you ask them a question for the second time, I ask second time only when you do not respond the emails / queries. Quite tedious and rigorous. I have to keep requesting and following up for every little thing even for an acknowledgment. Not friendly at all.

The hotel provides excellent service. You will not be disappointed. The Citrus has an amazing spread for dinner.

This place is very bad poor people are shouting on the road never ever dream of going there the place is very horrible. I saw a small girl was standing alone I saw her mom leaving her out side the gate and a man was taking the small girl with him. Never dream to go there.

Stay was good but food was repetitively boring after a week.

Compared to all the other hotels in India that we stayed, this one just felt generic, and much more Western. Clearly it was designed to cater to business travelers, and it was located in a business district. The complimentary breakfast served on the concierge level was terrific, though, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient to the airport, so no complaints.

This place has become way too old and just too expensive; not worth it at all. Leela Kempinski lunch buffet cost me more than USD $40, ie INR 1725 plus tax. Much better and cheaper, with beautiful view was JW Marriott Mumbai (in Juhu) which had Lunch buffet for INR 995 plus tax (approx USD 22 total) and dinner buffet for INR 1295 plus tax (approx USD 30 total. ).
