Superb Experience. Good Place to take a break from usual routine Out in the woods, Good rooms & excellent service. Co-operative & helpful hotel staff. Just 2 kms away from bus stand and market area. Still can feel the peace. Overall worth the money.

Good place to visit. We went during monsoon so everything was foggy. I think the best time to visit this place would be winters.

1. The property is spacious and at prime location but it is badly maintained. Worst during monsoon period. 2. The rooms stink and don't smell fresh. 3. The mattresses are very old and dirty. 4. The tiles near the swimming pool area are extremely slippery due to lack of cleaning. 5 service is very slow. 6. Food is below average. Not worth the money you pay for this hotel, would not recommend it to anyone.

Its a pretty old property. But it is very much spread out. I don't think even when it is full it would feel crowded here. Little far from market area but is walkable. Gives you a good combination of convenience and peace. Staff was very friendly and very quick in response. Would definitely like to visit again.

A old fashioned but very close to nature. Nice stay. Only problem is with monkeys. Lot of money are here. They enjoy their hot summer with a bath in swimming pool.

Grand wood rooms are great… Grand north rooms are not upto mark… Book only grand wood… There is lot of greenery in the area, parking space, indoor games are great… Free Breakfast is great… Overall good experience… You can order Domino's pizza it's 5 min away… Pratapgadh fort 20km Nearest point elegant head point 1.5 km away.

Unique greenery, serene surrounding, vintage appearance but with all up-to-date facilities make this place perfect for a brief stay at Mahabaleshwar. Placed at a reasonable distance from the bus stand. Reaching here is relatively easy. Adequate parking space is there inside. AC room is a must for summer months. The stay can be either with or without dining option. Only veg food is available here. However, food tastes monotonous after some time. Ample spots are available in the resort to sit & relax or to take a walk. A modest games room is as well there. Staff is supportive.

The only good thing was food. Very dirty rooms and smelly matreses and blanket. One extra star is only for food.

This is not our first visit to Grand Resort and Everytime we have experienced something different, different not only in manner of infrastructure but in terms of theirs mangment skill's which is constant from 2008 (since our first visit to Grand) Live example: We booked Grand for one weekend and due to some emergency we were unable to travel… This is the first ever resort who understood our situation & adjusted stuff without any hassel. It was a non refundable booking and Grand resort did understand the situation and helped us choose another date without any arguments… Kind gesture is always a ++++ point with Grand resort since day one. Grand Resort thanks for everything.

Wonderful place for family stays. The Resort is situated amidst a perennial forest cover, an ideal gateway for nature lovers. Just 10 mins walk from main market area. The food is sumptuous and staff is courteous. True value for money, must visit when looking for a place in Mahabaleshwar.

Great location. Menu selection is good. Not so taste food. Management must take the cleanliness seriously.

Me and my husband stayed there for two nights. Location was good, very near to market place. Friendly staff and helpful as well. Good food, nice experience for families. There was a very good magic show the time we stayed, it was entertaining for kids and adults equally. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay at mahabaleshwar.

Had a great experience. Went down with friends for a weekend trip and enjoyed thoroughly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The ambiance was serene and peaceful. The service was prompt. We had everything we needed within the premises — the pool, gaming center, etc.

Not at all a good experience. Rooms are very small and dingy. Privacy is compromised. They charge extra for Air Conditioner usage, whereas while booking the room, the description said "AC Room" Breakfast was tasteless and insipid. The only good thing about the breakfast was tea. The positive thing about the resort is the abundant trees and tranquil atmosphere. Huge improvement needs to be done by the managers of the property. The experience of customers should correspond to the money they are spending to stay at your hotel. Concluding remarks — Avoid, unless you have absolutely no choice.

Excellent place to relax and spend some time. Very serene, green, nice property. Rooms are good and clean. Staff is friendly. Enjoyed my stay here to the fullest. Certainly recommended.

It is not upto the expectation. Cooperative staff but no administration. Name is only grand but not grand facilities Even they don't have coffee and very lethargic when ask them for it. I will not suggest.

Nature and Location is good, but the staff is not well trained, the swimming pool is the dirtiest I've seen CANNOT SWIM IN IT. The Game Room is not at all maintained, pool table is broken. Badminton and Table tennis Raquets are broken. You have to pay and buy a Shuttle. Only Veg food is available. Also workers were doing loud noises just outside our room the whole afternoon. Overall comparitively unpleasant and unprofessional experience. 2 STARS just for the Plants and the monkeys all around. Not suggested.

Edit 1: Stay in 2017 Rooms are rebuilt, but needs cleanliness. Property as usual is fantastic. Food is great. Kids enjoyed. Monkeys will come to your table and steal food so beware. Kids play area is average, rather in bad condition. Stay back in 2012 Improve service and make this place a better resort and can turn this into excellent property. Ample space. Food is also fine. Not exactly a gujju food but a buffet. One negative point is check our is 8-8:30 AM which is really very bad.

Like Heaven on Earth. Amazing resort with friendly staff. Food was very good. The location of the resort is perfect to get peace of mind. Many activities to do in the resort itself to avoid boredom. Well maintained rooms. Not too expensive.

Nice relaxed place. With good service and good food.

Nice ambience. Full of greenery. Morning starts with the chirping of the birds. Specious and clean rooms. Fast service. Tasty food. The magic show which was organised during our stay was one of the best shows I have ever seen. All these factors made our stay very pleasant.

Very very greedy hotel. Five days before the arrival I requested cancellation and they said nothing can be refunded. Moreover their website had no clear cancellation policy at all.

1. Hot water from 7.30am to 10.30am 2. Breakfast — bread, upma, cutlets, tea, Kellogg. Eggs if req would be charged and ordered separately. 3. Food: — Veg major. Non-veg required to be ordered separately. 4. Pool not clean. If req need to be informed. 5. People around are friendly. 6. Things out here take sometime to come by. 7. Mosquito are least.

I spend two nights there and my experience is horrible 1. No hot water 24 hours 2. Very ill maintained 3. Bedding and room in very bad conditions 4. Reception not helpfull My advice to choose some other hotel and don't go by the pics shown on site.

Good ambience. Good food. Only issue I had was it does not have 24 hrs hot running water.

This is a old Resort, lots of space is full of Bushes. Very ill maintened resort. Food quality is just ok.
